Fantastic and well maintained site the wardens never stop to keep this park in tiptop condition. The pitches are very generous indeed with electric and water on each one, toilet and shower blocks spotless with loads of hot water. The park is a credit to the owner. There is also a children's play area and a nice little wooded walk.

We had visited this site before and found it very clean, with toilets being cleaned regularly. Always plenty of room between pitches. Kids can roam and play safely. Grounds constantly maintained.
Unfortunately, things seemed to slip a little following the opening of the extra field. We found dog excrement around the site, not good in any event, but certainly not with children running around. We were sat outside one day when a dog had a poo outside the tent next to us whilst they were having breakfast! They took the dog back to its owner and asked her to pick up the poo.
You would struggled on the access road if another caravan was coming the other way, but we managed to time arrival/departure to avoid this.
Owner/wardens need to be more approachable if a problem arises, they seem to take it personally and can be very dismissive.
The two older toilet/shower blocks need updating. A laundry would be a great addition.
A £40 non-refundable deposit is required on booking,
Can walk into Benllech from the site. Small Spar and Tesco Express in Benllech. If you're early you can get free parking at the beach,
The Friar fish and chip shop in Benllech is good, but gets very busy. You can ring your order through and they will tell you when to collect, saves queueing. The Bull Inn a few miles away is OK for food, unfortunately good eateries seem to be lacking in the area.

This is a very neat, tidy and spacious site. There was a warm and friendly greeting on arrival and throughout my visit from the wardens. The sanitation block was kept clean and to a high standard. However, the fiddling about with 10 pence coins for the showers was a bit of a nuisance and somewhat out of date with the general appearance of the site. On the whole the site was relaxing and quiet which complimented my stay on Anglesey.

To be fair we did book on here last minute and they did allow us to book on, which we were glad of. HOWEVER!They took our money and took the mickey! Rain poured down and the plot they gave us was under water! The puddles were as big as our tent. The warden suggested putting out tent more in the middle, which we did but it was pretty flooded. The pitch was at the bottom of a field so all the water drained to us! To rub salt in the wound our friends in caravans were high up the field perfectly dry. Anyway on the day of leaving, us tenting campers were up and off as weather so rubbish. , Tourers hoped to remain a little longer, something we had been told wouldn't be a problem. However it was a problem as the warden asked them to leave promptly as there were other tents arriving, When our friends suggested putting them at the bottom of the field where we had just vacated he laughed and told them there was no way he would put anyone camping there! excuse me but they took 3 days payment for 2 nights stay and happily put us in huge puddles! For that reason we wont be returning.
It was a well maintain site with clean facilities but unfortunately they took advantage of us and took our money and placed us (3 families) in puddles ( there were a few other plots available that we could see but were still put in the wet!)
An expensive and wet weekend. Weather couldn't be helped but hospitality on a campsite could!

Had another long weekend here, the weather was on our side for once!
Have no complaints about this site, the wardens(Mac&Pat) are happy to help wherever they can, nothing is too much trouble!
My children love the playground and in the woods they even did a easter egg hunt for the kiddies which I thought was good. The shower blocks are always clean and there is a mop and bucket to use when you are finished. (just wish some people used it)!The site is always tidy no overflowing bins they are emptied regular, the toilets are clean, there is a dog walking area so no chance of mess whilst children are playing.
There isnt a shop on site but its only a ten minute walk to the local shops. Overall a great site and we are looking forward to spending our summer hols here.

First outing of the year in our caravan, we knew the weather was not going to be great but what does that matter in our cosy caravan. Mac greeted us when we arrived and we were promptly sorted on a brilliant hard standing pitch near the reception. Site was quiet due to the time of the year. It was beautifully presented, must look beautiful in the better weather with flowers in bloom etc.
The toilet/shower block next to us had one toilet, one toilet with shower in it and a bathroom with small bath, all nice and clean. I liked the clean clothes sitting beside every wash sink, so that splashes could be cleaned up. There were other toilet blocks on other fields. There seems to be a lot of seasonal pitches, but they look good on hard standings instead of long grass growing underneath which tends to make sites look un kept sometimes.
There isn't a shop of any sorts but half a mile down the not too steep hill is a Tesco Express, fantastic fish and chip shop, very nice deli ( cant wait to go back for the most beautiful brownie I've ever tasted )Also Posh Puds shop, cheesecake to die for. The fantastic beach isn't much further, if you wanted to walk but we think it could be tiring heading back up after a hot day on the beach.
A lot of the pitches on site were flat but notice two or three which were un even, I think I would be disappointed if we got one, as I'm a flat pitch type of person! The road leading towards the site is single but we felt it wasn't too bad with passing places and were able to see ahead on a few stretches in case anything was coming. There was a great play park for kids with a little wood to play in as well, cant wait to be able to take our grandchildren there. Definitely a site that we will be back to in the better weather.

Large friendly camp site. Some new toilet blocks being built, site has quite a lot of routers permanently sited on the outside of all the fields occupying all the best spots.
The site is down a very narrow lane with a few passing points (not for the faint hearted).
Doggy walking field is not enclosed and quite a distance from the pitches.
As mentioned earlier the toilet blocks are being renovated but at the time were cold as they didn't have heating.

Just spent a great week at plas uchaf. We were greeted by the wardens who were extremely welcoming and friendly. Nothing too much trouble.
This is a large campsite and well set out. Large grass or gravel pitches with water points. Immaculately clean and tidy toilets and showers. Although I did not use the children's play area it looked more than adequate for all ages. Plenty of room to play and enjoy themselves without disturbing campers without children. In a beautiful location within a five minute walk of Benllech.
Would recommend this site and would definitely go again.

First time to this site and what an absolute cracker. Nice and sheltered with great facilities including heated floors in the showers. Every pitch had its own water supply and fire buckets regardless if you were in a tent or caravan. Price is reasonable as we paid £24 per night for 2 adults and 1 child with electric.
The family field was great and very well kept, as was the whole site. Nice adventure playground for the kids with badminton and table tennis courts. We felt the site was very secure and let our 6 year old have full access to the whole site as she made lots of new friend's. Benllech beach is great for a day out if the weather is good.
We certainly be returning soon.
