Having just spent 4 nights at links, I can only praise it, the weather was horrendous when we arrived however the very friendly owners came out to greet us. We were shown to a fantastic hard standing pitch with enough space for our large motorhome and awning and still plenty of room. The location is great for us with kids as its a 10 minute walk to the dog friendly beach and a 5 minute walk to the village. The village has everything that you would need in a small village, a spar, little tesco, greengrocer, butchers (excellent selection and cheese counter), post office and a few beach type shops near the beach as well as a bakery. Also in the village is a windmill that my children loved climbing to the top of, for 50p was an experience they enjoyed.
There are some swings for the children to play on so not much in the way of a play area but my lot still enjoyed themselves.
There is excellent dog walking possibilities round the driving range (which you can access from the site) or extend the walk round the golf course, passed a beautiful little fishing lake with resident black swans.
The site couldn't be better value for money wise, £14 a night including electric is brilliant.
We definitely would return, book early though as we were talking to some regulars who couldn't always get the weeks they wanted due to it being so popular.

Difficult to find but look out for the water tower and you're almost there, had no noisy neighbours as previous review and the whole site was very peaceful. A very warm toilet/shower block which is helpful in cold weather. A couple of shops/post office/take-away in the village(10 mins walk) but the nearest pub is further on along the seafront as well as two hotel bars. There is an hourly bus service during the day to Cromer and Sheringham from the village or to North Walsham the other way. Paid a very reasonable £14/night for two with ehu.

We arrived here not knowing anything about the site (forgot to check this website lol ) We are here in a Tentipi and are semi permanent, moving pitch to pitch, as we are moving into the village.
The camping area is mostly level, most pitches have hook ups. The toilet block is well kept, plenty of hot water, there's a fridge freezer too.
One complaint we had was over Easter there were a group of 5 tents all pitched together. They had no respect or regard for others on the campsite and played music, drank and talked loudly, into the night. Twice until 01:30 in the morning. Fortunately they buggered off after Easter and we had the field to ourselves.
The unwritten rules of sites quietening down at 21:30 and going Quiet at 22:00 seems to be long dead.
This is a great site and the Warden (Mick) is friendly and helpful.
Can thoroughly recommend this site to anyone.
Caravans are charged £14/night including electric. (as many people can fit the van)
Tents are charged £6 per person??? and electric is £2 so our tent is £14 same as a caravan. If we had more people it would be more, hence my 'value for money' for the tent is marked down

A superb park, but not many touring spaces, so book early. Very quiet, lovely clean toilet block with plenty of showers, loos and washbasins, ladies has one private washbasin. When we were there at the end of April, it was a cold weekend and the heated cosy washroom was much appreciated. One important point, do not follow the route from previous posting if you are coming from North Walsham, don't take the A149 towards Cromer. Take the B1145 to Knapton and Mundesley and on reaching Mundesley do not attempt to use Heath Lane, but go into Mundesley on the High Street, (one way), left up Station Road, then left into Links Road, signed for Golf Club and Links Caravan Site. Past water tower on left and chalet park on right, turn left as for Golf Club, immediately veering left to Links Caravan Park. You will find the warden and his wife most helpful. Enjoy.

We stayed here for 8 nights in early September, just after most of the schools had gone back and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Though the site is at the end of a narrow road it's fairly short and straight and we had no problems navigating to it. The hardest part of the whole journey was the terrible road surface on the stretch between Cromer and Mundesley which reduced us to a crawl in places to avoid damaging the caravan.
Once on site we called at the warden's bungalow and were met by the warden. As requested he'd reserved for us a pitch near the facilities block.
The top of the site is level but drops down to some fairly interesting angles. I understand that's because it may once have been part of the next door golf course. That said all of the pitches were built up to be level and nobody seemed to have problems moving around the site. Of the 32 pitches the majority are seasonal so though it looked busy it was fairly quiet.
The pitches are sensibly laid out with two tarmac tracks for the caravan wheels and a gravel area for the awning. The rest of each pitch is grass. We found this ideal as it means there's no confusion over positioning and no problems with drainage. We used a small porch awning and found it easy to secure with rock pegs. There was space to park the car next to the awning and we didn't feel that the pitches were cramped.
The facilities block was kept spotless and had male, female and a disabled loo along with newly installed showers. Next to it was a small beach hut full of useful information about the area. The warden also gave a quick rundown of local amenities and where to go/what to avoid. Whilst chatting he explained that the owners frequently invested cash in the business and later this year they're installing heating in the facilities block.
Though it's the luck of the draw we found all of our neighbours to be extremely friendly and our nearest had visited the site on a number of occasions and said they recommended it. We could see why.
We'd like to go back again though this time we'll ask for pitches 2 or 3. Pitch 1 where we were is under an oak tree and during the week the area was subject to heavy rain and strong winds. As a result the caravan and car were bombarded with leaves, twigs and small branches and we were expecting dents in the caravan roof. Luckily that was not the case though both vehicles looked as if they'd been abandoned due to the amount of green waste sat on them. It seems that the site is keen to remove the tree for that very reason but some sort of preservation order means they can't.
For all you camper van/tenters there's a large field right next to the caravan area of which roughly half seems to have electric hookup.
We found Mundesley to be a very charming place and fairly self contained. We only ventured away from the village on one occasion and the rest of the time were happy to stay put. From the site it's only a short walk into the village centre or to the beach.
There's a good selection of local shops to cover all your holiday needs though we found the butchers a little over-rated and the Spar was typically pricey. Still, who cares when you're on holiday? The chinese takeaway was one of the best we'd ever used and two of the cafe's in the village centre were dog (and human) friendly. So much so that the aptly named Village Cafe even provided our spaniel with his own Sunday lunch when we visited.
With the exception of the promenade (which is accessed by a steep slope) the majority of the village was accessible by mobility scooter.
Overall we really enjoyed our holiday and are keen to go back next year. The current price of only £12 in low season is a bargain and even if it goes up by a few pounds (which seems to be the plan next year) it's well worth the money.

We only stayed one night but thought this site was excellent value for money with a immaculate and modern amenity block and clean sites with hedges providing shelter from the wind and good size of pitch.
The campsite is not too far from the beach/shops/pub etc. The Ship Inn served good food (try the trio dessert to share - yummy). Dogs was allowed in the bar area which is great on a cold, wet night.

We stayed for 2 nights with electric hook up at this lovely site. We had a fantastic time in the sunshine with our 3 children. Although very busy the campsite was very quiet in the day & all the pitches seemed generous in size. The toilets & showers were spotlessly clean & we were grateful for the use of the freezer. The wardens were very helpful & friendly.
The beach at Mundesley is lovely & is within walking distance as are the local shops. We are looking forward to our next visit to the Links.

This is our third time at Links Caravan and we were not disappointed we had a great time we went as a group and we were able to pitch our tents together, the warden is lovely and very helpful and always comes round in the morning to check we were all ok. Showers have been changed since our last stay and they are even better always lots of hot water and very clean and tidy even on a bank holiday. The butchers at Mundesley is very good value and very helpful lovely Chinese chicken, and the beach is close by and its with life guards too, also the beach café is very good, also the Deli is new and has very good sandwiches. The kids enjoyed the outside Gym by park. Yet again we had another great weekend.

One of the best sites so far. Very well kept, clean, relaxed and friendly. The pitches were a good size, we have a medium sized tent. There were two swings in the middle where the children gathered and played. There is a tesco metro a five minute stroll away. It was a good ten minute walk into the town and the beach but the advantage was it was a nice quiet site with lovely views. Mundsley is a lovely sea side town quieter paced than Cromer and Hunstanton and has a clean sandy beach. Perfect for a family holiday with young children.

Just arrived home having spent 2 weeks at the links camp site. Overall we had a very enjoyable holiday give or take a few minor things. Personally for me I thought that the pitches were far to close together and for the best part of our second week we had to keep the curtains at one end of the camper closed because it looked straight into the neighbours tent and they were that close it was a bit embarrassing when we were eating. My other problem was that the children or parents on the site didn't seem to care what time the children were outside in the morning now don't get me wrong I have 2 children of my own but when sites have rules for being quiet at night and all other campers me included abide by these rules then shouldn't something also apply for being a bit less rowdy in the mornings I know children get up early but six oclock in the morning running around the field and playing on the swings was a bit much so please could parents bear this in mind that holidays are also for adults who perhaps would like to enjoy a few extra hours in bed before they have to go back to work again.
There were many plus points to the site including excellent clean free showers which were for the majority of the time clean and tidy but some people thought that the mop to clean the showers out when they finished wasn't there to be used by them and it would be easier for others to clean them out but the wardens did overall keep them in great condition considering it was extremely busy. The wardens were very helpful and gave us loads of info on the surrounding area. The village was lovely with everything that you needed including a small Tesco, butchers, bakers chemist etc. The beach was a fantastic sandy beach with a great dog section which was very peaceful. All in all a good site which I am sure many will love.
