Stopped here for short break in May. Good tent site, very open camping field not overcrowded (well we had to imagine what it would be like with more peeps, as it went from just us on one night to 4 other tents at most!). Most of the pitches have electric, though I don't think some in the extension field do. Good grass condition, given that it hasn't rained properly there in ages. Shower blocks were clean, dry & well stocked - though showers were hot they didn't stay on long and you might be queueing if the site is full, as only 3 cubicles. Power sockets in block which is handy for drying hair etc. Nice indoor washing up area with fridge freezer for all to use. Location wise - at end of farm lane by golf course so lovely & quiet. A bit of stroll into the village for shops, pubs etc.

We visited for the 3rd time, and are planning our visit for this year. Each time we've been it's for a major holiday and every visit we have thoroughly enjoyed the site and the area.
The first visit was one tent, the next were with friends in two tents, and this year we plan for more friends and a third tent. The tent pitches are well arranged and allow the choice of power or not.
The facilities are well kept, plenty of hot water and the site is quiet apart from the birds and occasionally the golf course. Our dogs are well behaved and welcomed each time.
Mundesley village is delightful with one of the best butchers we've ever found, and an excellent fish bar most days of the week. The beach is easy walking distance and you can walk as far as you want, which suits the dogs.
There are refreshment places in the village - the beer garden at The Ship is great for watching maritime traffic as is the Coastwatch post when open for visitors.
There are plenty of attractions in the area to visit by car, one of the best is the radar museum which must be praised for its marvellous enthusiasm and education. The tank museum appeals to the boys, and there is a wonderful baker in Cromer.
We have found each holiday to be relaxing and we leave feeling rejuvenated. Really looking forward to this year's visit.

Easy to find the site from directions on the website. Unfortunately we were very unlucky with the weather, arrived late and it was soon dark, gale force winds etc. The warden suggested a sheltered spot and let us park up as we wanted. We tucked in behind a big conifer hedge to try to get out of the wind a bit.
The site was lovely, very quiet, far-reaching views across Norfolk, lights twinkling in the dark - very good mobile phone signal too. Next morning we explored a little, it's a good dog walking area, we could have gone for miles.
Sadly we didn't stay long as our awning broke but the facilities were spotlessly clean and the warden was absolutely wonderful, we'd never met such a friendly and helpful man. That friendliness seemed to create a very nice atmosphere, other campers happy to chat.
We shall certainly return.

Stayed for 5 nights at this site which at the time was quiet with only 5 other tents in the camping field. If full the pitches would be quite close together if everybody had a family tent. Pitches drain well considering we had rain every night.
Although some of the pitches appeared to be quite muddy with little grass left on them suggesting either a very wet summer or the grass not being given time to grow back.
Drinking water handily located in middle of field and only a short walk to the shower/wash up block which were clean and more than adequate. Short walk into the village although it should be noted that one of the bars doesn't allow dogs.

An all round, lovely site! Barney and Ann made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. It's a small, friendly site but with plenty of room and by no means cramped.
The shower/toilet block was always clean and had a mop for all to use after showering. Plug sockets in the toilet facilities came in handy too! They have 2 sinks to wash up in and a fridge freezer for all to use.
The caravans and tents were on separate fields and the tent field also had 2 swings in the middle for the children to occupy themselves-it was a great meeting place for the youngsters to make friends.
The village itself is a quiet place with a butchers, grocers, post office and an american diner where they do MASSIVE buurgers in a bun-well worth a visit! At a steady pace, it took us approx. 10 mins. To walk into the village and 15 mins. To the beach/seafront. Along the seafront is 'Beach Cafe' which is well worth a visit for their hot chocolate!
We found this site ideal for our needs-clean,relaxed and friendly but our own space when we fancied it. With the village so close and Cromer a short bus ride away, you can do as much or as little as you wished.
Will definitely be going back!

Absolutely perfect.
A very warm welcome from Ann and Barney, the best site wardens we have encountered, the site is lovely and clean, toilets and showers are great and kept clean possible because there is a mop etc for people to clean up after themselves which is always a plus in my book. Washing up area is great with a fridge freezer, although we didn't use it could be handy for some. There are two swings in the tent field which could cause a few rows with the kids but they soon sorted things out over it and there is another field which Barney told my boys they could play ball games in without causing an trouble.
Location is great nice walk into the village and then on to the beach which is lovely. DO NOT buy the inflatables from the shop on the beach front, to take onto the beach as the lifeguards ask that you do not use them in the sea as they are dangerous, we did see a child being rescued after floating out on one.
Definitely will return here.

I had decided to purchase a tent so that my 6year old and I could get some time away within a budget. I chose Links as our first little adventure under canvas as it had good reviews was close to the beach and was very reasonably priced. We had booked for 2 nights and arrived to find a very nice site indeed. The village is only a short walk away as is the beach. This is a small seaside village but its has everything that you would need for your time away. The toilet and shower block was always very clean whatever time of day you needed to pay a visit, and for me the added bonus of a fridge freezer to use free of charge. I was very lucky to have chosen this site even though we did have to leave early due to extremely high winds which obviously had nothing to do with this very nice site. We will most definitely be visiting them again!

Had a lovely three nights at this site during the kids school holidays in August and the beach in Mundesley is lovely and has lifeguards in attendance during peak season.
The site itself is great and the warden Barney is really helpful and was always happy to chat when doing his morning rounds and informed us of the local facility's on arrival. Its a small site, but despite being fully booked it never felt cramped or too busy,Tents are on one field and caravans on another. The toilet blocks only have 3 toilets and showers but are clean and well maintained and never had to queue once to use these.Pitch was level and grass cut to lawn standards and also had elec hook up. Pitch also drained well when we had rain one night so no soggy mess in the morning
Showers were always hot and clean, as was the water in the washing up room - only two sinks for washing up so best to time that right to avoid having to wait. Also the use of a fridge freezer in this room, which is a real bonus if like us you have to rely on cool boxes with ice blocks.
There are a couple of swings in the middle of the camping field which was great because we could watch the kids from our tent. Only one issue we had whilst there was some kids playing generally around the swings until late at night which was annoying when you are trying to get a 3 year old to sleep, but that has nothing to do with the site, which we would happily recommend.
Places of interest in the area - Bewilderwood is a good day out. Loads of great beaches in the area. Cromer is a nice seaside town with a pier and plenty of shops and eateries but can be busy to drive into. Mundesely itself has a small spar shop where you can get most things, but there is a Morrisons in Cromer if you want more of a choice. The fish & chip shop in Mundesley is ok and the Ship Inn does great food and has a fab beer garden with children's play area, overlooking the beach and the sea.
Great site in a lovely location and surroundings - would definitely return.

Just back from a 3 night stay at this lovely site. Had a warm welcome from the wardens Ann & David (?) and offered a choice of pitches in the caravan field. As we have a motor home we chose the flattest pitch just outside the wardens static caravan but did still need to use the levelling blocks - also had a sea view! Paid £16 per night for motor home, 2 adults and dog.
The toilet and shower blocks are excellent, spotlessly clean and with plenty of hot water. There is also a washing up room with 2 sinks and also a fridge freezer which would be very useful for tent campers. Free range eggs are also available at £1.00 for 6 from the sites own hens, very good value.
The village is approx 5 minutes walk from the site with the beach about a further 5 minutes walk. Have to disagree with a previous reviewer who says that the beaches are not dog friendly. The main beach does not allow dogs between May and September but you only have to walk about 300 metres in either direction and dogs are allowed to run freely on the beach. Ours had a wonderful time chasing his ball and digging huge holes in the sand!
The village is very pretty and seems to have a good selection of shops - butcher, fish stall, chip shop, post office and a small Spar supermarket. There is even a regular car boot sale every Wednesday.
Around the site there are plenty of walks, didn’t have time to walk down to the lake which apparently is a very popular walk - maybe next time.
On packing up to leave we were talking to Ann & David (hope we got their names correct) and OH said that he was disappointed not to have walked out to the windmill to take a photo as he likes to paint from his photographs. David immediately got out his car and insisted that he take OH to the windmill to get his photos. Where else would you get service like this? It was much appreciated.
Would definitely stay at this site again.

This is a lovely basic site, caravans and tents are in separate fields.
Used this already a couple of times this year and so far lucky with the weather!
Quiet and clean we will be going back again and again.
Good showers within the toilet block which is also kept very clean.
The only drawback no wash-up area, but this you can overcome if you know about it.
Site is a 15 mins walk into the village where there is a good fish and chip shop. There are also a couple of pubs serving food in the village overlooking the sea.
