We were very lucky to be able to book the last available pitch for this very busy week of the school holidays.
The site was easy to find and the Warden/Reception was easily found. We were on Pitch 26 which must have been the most level that we have ever stayed on with hard standing for both the caravan and awning. Owner was a great help manoeuvring the van onto the pitch and he told us all we needed to know about the site before leaving us to set up.
Toilet/shower blocks were clean and served the site well. In the whole week, I only had to wait once for a few minutes for a shower to become free and my husband said he hadn't had to wait at all in the Mens block. The two washing up sinks did get busy, but this was not an inconvenience. The play area is small with only 2 swings, but this was not a big issue. An added bonus of this site, is the visit from the local icecream van who came up to the site most evenings. He was a very friendly guy, who was patient with the children, but was able to laugh and joke with the parents too.
Owner told us about the various shops and amenities in the village. I can highly recommend the butcher and the fish stand which are adjacent to the village car park. The butcher was well stocked with a wide range of meat, but the kebabs, burgers and sausage were particularly good for BBQ's and not too expensive. We did not buy any eggs from the shops in the village as owner has his own free range hens and the eggs from them were excellent. The Spa shop was the nearest mini supermarket to the site, but there is also a small Tesco on the road out towards Cromer, but we shopped at both. I cannot recommend the fish and chip shop in the village. The fish was bony and dry, indicating it was not fresh and the price was expensive at £4. 70 for a portion of cod and £3 for a large chips. £7. 70 for fish and chips per person is a fair price to pay if eating in a proper fish and chip restaurant, but from a take-away its not cheap and as I said, was of poor quality. We also ate at The Ship, which had a good range of food and drinks on the menu. The food was tasty and was served swiftly, we ate in the Front Bar as we had our dog with us, but if there was a wait for a table in the main restaurant, then the staff took details, gave out menus for people to make their choices and then showed people to their table as soon as it became available, 10 minutes max. The prices were what you would expect from a seafront, seaview pub. £4. 95 for a starter and anywhere from £9. 95( 8oz burger and chips with onion relish-£18. 99 (steak and chips) for the main course, depending on what you had. They had a small children's selection on the menu. On a weekend they also open a mini-grill in a boat in the seaview beer garden which served burgers, hotdogs etc.
The beach is excellent and has good flat sand for making sandcastles, playing ball games and for paddling, swimming and body boarding. The beach take-away cafe has all the usual food and not too expensive. The lifeguards updated the weather and water conditions daily and were a highly visible presence on the beach and in the water. Be aware that from 1st May to 30 Sept dogs are not allowed on the main section of beach and we had to locate ourselves on the bit of beach just past the coloured beach huts. There's plenty of room, so it wasn't a problem and all of the dog owners who were in this section cleaned up after their dogs.
The only addition I could say that would make this site a tiny bit better, as it is already excellent, would be a washing machine, but that is my view only and we did manage the full week without having to wash too many clothes out.
This is a clean, safe, family friendly and well run site and we can highly recommend it. We will also be back to visit at some point in the future and hope that the owner is still there with his cheeky smile and chatty banter.
Thanks for a great stay.

My husband, our dog Meg and I stayed at the site from 21/6 - 7/7. What an excellent little site this is. On arrival we were met by the Warden's wife( sorry cant remember her name) she was so helpful and very welcoming. The pitches are a good size, the facilities are excellent. The morning after our arrival the warden came to see us to ensure we had settled in ok, he also told us of the best places to visit, and where to eat if we wanted a change from cooking.
The village of Mundesley is quaint but has everything you would need. The beaches are superb, can recommend the chippy in the village, if you like your fish fresh and tasty you'll be hard put to better this chippy.
Overall we can highly recommend this site.

Our first visit to Links in 2013, we have not visited since October 2011 and we were not disappointed. There have been several improvements to the site including a tarmac entrance, new overhead square showers and a very trendy beach hut themed information centre. If you would like a very peaceful site with great local facilities including fresh fish, butchers, local greengrocers and bakery, a great beach within walking distance and great hosts at the camp site then this is for you! A Norfolk sanctuary. We walked to the beach Saturday lunchtime with deck chairs, a chilled bottle of wine and dined in style with freshly cooked fish and chips from the local take away - several hours of sun and a paddle! Bliss.

We have been this area many times and stayed else where, this year decided a change. We have always loved the village of Mundesley, so decided to go to Links. We were not disappointed. We were made very welcome by the site warden, who showed us to our pitch and also gave us lots of information about the site and local information. We had an electric tent pitch, and was in a lovely location on site, are more than adequate for our large family tent. The camping field has pitches all around the edge, with a couple of swings in the middle and lots of room for the children to play.
The facilities were always kept very clean, plenty of showers and toilets. There is also a washing up room with the use of a fridge/freezer if required.
The village of Mundesley is lovely, with a great beach. In the village is also a Tesco express, Chinese takeaway, a fab butchers, and a few small gift shops. There are also a few pubs in the village. The local area is very nice, lots of places to visit. We had a really nice day hiring a boat for a couple of hours at Wroxham.
We shall definitely be back to this site, and highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed this site and it was very good value. We stayed Thursday to Sunday.
Easy to find just on the edge of the village by the golf course it looked quite snug as you entered with a lot of seasonal pitches but it was very quiet and relaxed.
Our pitch was a good size for us and two dogs who use a pup tent. Facilities were good and the whole site had a nice tlc and looked after feel. Wardens were very helpful.
Our first visit to Mundesley and we really enjoyed the walks to the village (brilliant fish and chip shop and lovely selection of shops) and beach. Really lovely spot.
It did get quite busy on the Friday night when a lot of families arrived to use the camping field on the adjacent field but once all arrivals were in it settled down.
Very likely we would return.

A little tricky to find at first, but happy to help on site team talked us in. On arrival we were made to feel most welcome, and the campsite was beautiful and clean. The shower and toilet blocks were kept up to a very high standard and the implementation of a shower straight from the ceiling was brilliant! The site was in a good location for touring around the local area and the availability of fresh laid eggs for breakfast was a more than welcome addition. Can heartily recommend this site to anyone!

We stayed at links campsite in April 2013 and it was lovely. We were the only tent at one point and it was very peaceful and quiet. It's in a great location with a 10 min walk to the beach and 5 mins to the shops. The site has clean toilets and showers. It's in a perfect place to explore the Norfolk area with some fantastic beaches and stunning villages. We have booked again in august and are bringing another family with their kids. The campsite warden was very friendly and helpful and you can also buy fresh eggs from the reception. It really is a nice clean site and we can't wait to go back!

We absolutely loved this site. We had a more than adequate sized pitch (and we have a pretty large tent, trailer and car). The site was well kept and the warden was friendly and helpful. It felt very laid back and relaxed. I always found the shower block to be clean and the squeegee for the shower cubicles was an excellent idea. My only negative comment on the ladies' loo is that perhaps 2 sanitary bins would be better than 1.
The village and beach are only a 15-20 minute walk along a quiet lane and it is easily walkable. The beach is fantastic and there is an excellent public play area with great play facilities for children. There is a Spar, lovely butchers, fish and chip shop and a gorgeous pub (The Ship Inn) with fantastic views.
We went with our 2 children (aged 7) and we all had a great time. The site and the village both have such a lovely atmosphere and we will definitely be returning next summer and have already recommended this site to friends. It's fab

We have been coming to Links for 5 years now in both tents and a caravan. The wardens are permanently on site all year. They are friendly and will always help if requested, as other reviewers have posted.
I find the facilities perfectly suitable: The shower block is modern and clean and uses solar energy panels on the roof. I have noted that they are cleaned daily and checked throughout the day and evening. Parents are requested to ensure children do not play in the block.
Interestingly one person writes they came across a person with dogs in the block - why did you not approach them to suggest it was not a good idea - not write a bad review for the site because of it? Wet room showers do cause water on the floor - that is why there are signs requesting people to clear up spills with the provided floor squeegee. Again, it is wrong to blame the site for users who do not clean up after themselves.
The dish washing up area in the block is handy and better than the outside facilities at some parks. The freezer is welcome for coolbox blocks.
Being right next to Mundesley Golf course (9 hole), it is ideal for golfers. Plenty of footpaths in the area for walkers and the beach is a 10 minute walk away. Mundesley has a Spar, green grocers, chemist, newsagents/post office, hardware shop, a social club, one pub (plus 2 hotels with a bar), a Chinese/Thai takeaway, a chippy plus 2 cafes! Not bad for a small village!
We find Links a great holiday park for camping and caravanning. Small and personal, it is safe for children and, through the diligence of the wardens, enables people to enjoy a traditional holiday in an unspoilt Norfolk sea-side village.
We will be back next year.

We visited this site last week with three dogs and a seven year old child. A very friendly site and the toilets and showers were clean and well maintained.
The warden stopped by and chatted with us a couple of times and both of them were very helpful and friendly. The tent pitches are very spacious, in fact we pitched a little too forward (not intended) and still had room at the front for our windbreakers and trailer at the back and we have a very large tent.
I was particularly impressed with the laid back attitude of the site and both BBQ's and firepits are allowed, as long as you are sensible with them and look after the grass.
I only have one niggle and its a small one and that is the fact that there are only two swings as a play area and nothing else, therefore expect to queue, particularly in August.
Some kids had resorted to climbing the tree near the toilets which I thought dangerous, seeing as that is the entrance with cars etc.
Overall though I can highly recommend this site and area and would recommend to others if travelling to this area.
