This was the first time we had been to the site and it was reading previous reviews which made me decide to try it. We had been to Mundesley before but only for a day trip. As soon as we arrived we were shown to our pitch by the warden. He was very friendly and welcoming and told us where to find everything on the site and also a bit about the village, shops, pubs etc and where the nearest big supermarkets were if we needed them – we used Sainsburys in N Walsham and also called at Morrisons in Cromer after spending the day there. On first impression the caravans looked quite close together but this turned out not to be a problem at all. They were arranged in a way that there was plenty of room for awnings and parking etc. Quite a few of the caravans must belong to people who keep them there long-term and had nobody staying in some of them at the time of our visit. Even though it was high season the caravan field was lovely and peaceful. The shower and toilet block was very modern and clean. A nice touch was some flowers in a corner and also books and magazines for holiday makers to use. There was also useful info about local markets, events etc. The showers are push button but easy to use and the water is lovely and hot. There was a larger cubicle with a stool which was useful if you wanted to go and supervise your kids, and also a cubicle with just a sink and a stool if you just wanted to freshen up in private. There was a drain in the middle of the floor and a squeegy mop to clean up excess water after yourself. The village is lovely and an easy walk (but slight slope on the way back) – nice for fetching a paper in the mornings etc. Everyone was very friendly. If you walk a bit further on than the village you’re at the sea front with miles and miles of beautiful sand to walk along. Dogs aren’t allowed on the lifeguard patrolled section but there is plenty of room on the rest of the beach. We recommend the Jonet Café in the main street but there is another café right on the beach which we didn’t try. There are also a couple of gift shops etc but nothing commercialised which suited us just fine. If you want that sort of thing Cromer and Sheringham aren’t too far although they aren’t commercialized in a nasty way either but lovely seaside towns – just bigger. Anyway I have rambled on a bit. As you can probably tell we loved this site and Mundesley and will definitely return.

Well what can we say.
Wardens, Barny & Ann are fantastic, no no-sense approach, but very very helpful, see you to your pitch and then make you a nice welcoming cup of tea.Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Site is small, quiet and the caravan pitches are flat but on a sloping field, tent field is very flat, with swings & a play area for the children. Both well maintained.
Showers were clean and tidy, with plentiful hot water, somewhere for you to put your clothes and toiletries, plug socket for a hairdryer and shaving point for the men. Also disabled facilities available.
Washing up room always clean & tidy with information leaflets for all to use. Fridge-freezer for every ones use too.
Plenty of nice walks around the site and 5 minutes from the blue flag beach, plenty of local pubs in the area however if you wanted to go outside the village you need to travel.
Driving range & golf course a stones throw away and a pool for fishing.
A nice peaceful site with a very relaxed atmosphere and excellent value for money
We hope to visit again soon

Just returned from a delightful weeks stay at the Links site, with a teenage son and lively dog. The warden and his wife were polite, helpful and made you feel very welcome.
The facilities were excellent and always clean. The campsite was full with plenty of room between each pitch.
Our family is looking forward, to our next visit and highly recommend the site. Only down site the Golf course next door, cut their grass at 6.30am. Ideal location for us dog owners just a 2 minute stroll, and he was able to have a great run off the lead. He also enjoyed our trips to Mundesley beach. The village is very small but has all the basics you would need. Cromer is the nearest big town about 20 minutes away, with a large Morrisons.

Stayed 4 nights on this good little campsite. Arrived shortly after thunderstorm but ground drained well. Washing up room with Fridge and freezer available to campers. Shower room excellent.
Only adverse comment is that the golf club did cut grass before 7 am.
Excellent Carvery meal Wed. And Sat. Nights at the Royal Hotel.Within walking distance through the village.

Stayed at the site as a result of previous reviews and were not disappointed. We had a warm welcome and unlike other sites we were not subjected to a list of rules, it was all very relaxed. There is a separate field for tents and the ground was flat and well maintained - like camping on a well tended lawn! The site was not full, but the pitches were well spaced so can imagine that even at full capacity it would still feel pretty spacious. For children, there are two swings in the middle of the tent field. We had very heavy rain one night but the next morning the ground was still firm. If you take a disposable BBQ, the warden has a pile of bricks available.
The toilets and showers were modern and well appointed, there were three of each with handy hooks and a seat in each shower cubicle. Push button showers lasted only 10 secs at a time, but the pressure and temperature were good so only minor inconvenience. They were cleaned well, although a few notices reminding people to use the mops provided after showering might have helped as some didn't bother. There is no hairdryer provided, but there is a plug for people to take their own. There were even books in the ladies for people to borrow! No problems with queues. There are also disabled facilities.
Nice easy walk to the village which has good amenities. The Ship has a nice pub garden overlooking the sea. We tried the fish and chip shop and the food was very good.
The area is very pretty and the site is only 30 minutes away from the broads too.
This is a lovely site at a very reasonable price.

Stayed for Whitsun Bank Holiday, site was fully booked. The pitch was large enough for our tent the awning and the land rover. Our nephew also stayed one night in his pup tent.
We walked the Paston Way (20 miles) while there as this site is halfway.
Facilities were excellent (except no hose on tap in camping field) Guess who got wet?

Visited this site on the basis of the sites reviews. Stayed for three nights what a great time we had. Very friendly and helpful warden. Beautiful camping area with very clean toilets and showers. Sinks and fridge / freezer available for your use. Small play area for the kids. Short walk to village and beach plenty of good pub grub available, there's also a chinese and a chip shop which are recommended. Cant wait to visit again and at £5 per person per night £2.50 for children its a bargain.

I very quiet and spacious campsite (we went in term time). Have a really relaxing time here. The warden was friendly an helpful.
The site is near either to the village to walk. It was very quiet in the village and most things weren't open due to it being out of season. The beach is lovely and well kept.
The toilet block are very clean with plenty of warm water and good showers (though you have to keep pressing the button to get water).
There isn't a great deal of thing to do on site, though there is a golf range next to it. There is also a small play area.
We enjoyed it because it was quiet, empty and just a lovely place to chill out.

Small site with 28 pitches in total, all clearly marked. Flat ground and good drainage as even though it rained for about 10 hours on and off there was no standing water. Showers were hot and powerful day and night and clean, toilets and washing up area the same. Fridge and freezer available to use FREE. Village of Mundesley 10 minute walk with fish & chip shop, small supermarket and pub, beach an additional 5 minutes away, beach clean with lifeguard, cafe and toilets. Small playground on site with 2 swings. Surrounded by countryside no noise at night. Hook ups available but did not need.
