We should have stayed for 5 nights but gave up after 4 due to the August monsoon season. We pitched under a tree in the corner. To provide extra shelter from the wind. All four of us were bit several times by insects (Not the sites fault ) The new toilet block is a short walk away on the caravanners field, it's a lovely toilet block but the floor is nearly always wet. The showers are raised from the main floor so water gets by the shower curtains onto the main floor. So the warden has left a mop and butcket in there. Toilet paper is in dispensers providing small sheets so often the floor has paper on it. Its a shame that such small things spoil a site. Rubbish is placed in industrial bins on the caravan field. The site is well kept and the other campers were quiet at night. The camping field runs alongside someones back garden who have a dog. They let the dog out very late at night and let it play. But then shout it in and they talk very loud as if to deliberately upset the campers. Dispite these small gripes I would revisit the site if ever we decided to go this area again

Just got back from 4 nights camping at Links. Really enjoyed it, warden and other campers were really friendly. Nice quiet location. All the other tents were occupied by families so noise was not an issue. Pitches are just big enough for large tent and a couple of cars, was nice to be able to pick your spot too. Toilets and showers were kept really clean, probably cleaned at least 5 or 6 times a day. Nothing much around, situated next door to golf driving range but that's about it. It's only a short walk into mundesley though. All in all I would go back again, its a great basic camp site with extremely reasonable pricing (£10/night!)

We stayed on this site at very short notice for just three nights after deciding to take a chance with the dodgy summer weather we've been having. Warden was very helpful on arrival, directing us to the tent field and giving us free choice of pitches available. The field itself was relatively small, which we prefer to the sprawling sites you sometimes get - the pitches were spread around the field's perimeter with the central area free for the usual ball games and kids' bike-riding. We were only about 40 yards from the water tap (specifically for the tent field) and about 60 yards from the newly-built (May 07) shower block. The Gents' facilities included three showers, three toilet cubicles and three sinks; I'm told that in the Ladies' there were three showers, one lockable cubicle with a wash-basin, some more sinks and three toilets. At no point during our break did we have to wait for a shower to become free. A good plus-point for such a low-cost site (just £10 per night per pitch!) was the availability of a freezer for ice-packs etc, plus an added bonus of having the use of a fridge as well - this was lightly-used by others during our stay but we found it to be really handy and took away the total reliance on our cool-box! The village of Mundesley is within easy reach (very short drive or a 10 min walk) with all the useful shops: post office, general store, cafe, chip shop etc. A further 5 minutes walk or so gets you to the sea-front with an excellent beach (sandy, not pebbles) patrolled by lifeguards. We really enjoyed our stay but if I was to make any "constructive criticisms" they would be as follows: 1. The showers lacked water pressure and required you to press the button every 15 seconds to re-start the flow - got a bit frustrating when you were covered in shampoo suds and struggling to wash them away! 2. The main lights in the shower blocks were only on during peak times in the morning and then early evening until 10pm - ouside of these times it reverted to 'emergency lighting' which was OK if you just wanted to visit the loo or wash your hands but a late shower proved difficult as the shower cubicles were too dark. Not a major problem during our stay as the showers weren't too busy in the mornings but when the site is full I often prefer to shower last thing at night before bed - not possible here. Can't complain for £10 per night however and I recognise that these measures may help them keep the costs so low. Despite the minor observations above. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this site as a good-value base for exploring this part of Norfolk - we will certainly be keen to use it again even if the price creeps up a little in subsequent years to take into account their new shower block. Happy camping!

We stayed in a tent for 2 nights in June, the tent site was layed out well and not too cramped, it is a quiet site with really nice toilets and showers (a definite must when camping in my opinion!) Its close walking distance to the beach and driving distance of local supermarket in North Walsham or Cromer to stock up on supplies! I would def stay again and its a bit of a bargain at £10.00 per night!

The weather was freezing. 6 degrees on the thermometer with a gale blowing off the North Sea, unusual for the last week in May. We enjoyed our stay though.
The campsite is basic but clean. If you don't want any frills this is excellent value for money. The other campers were fairly reasonable with noise, I got the impression no rowdies would stay here.
It is an easy ten minute walk into the village which has a good range of services and a further five to the pleasant beach. The general area is scenic but with limited options for rainy days. We like reading, walking, eating out and pubs so it was fine for us. Cromer is only ten minutes by car and has a Morrisons and all the usual seaside town stuff. Takes more like half an hour to drive into the Broads which are worth a boat trip to see all the wildlife.
Would without doubt come back to this campsite, especially considering the charges. Unfortunatly for Norfolk our preference remains Devon and Cornwall. Well worth a visit though.

A very friendly nicely run small site 15 minutes walk from the sea/town, adequate clean toilets with piping hot water all the time in showers & basins. A must if eating out is the 'Royal Hotel' Paston Road (south end of village) you will never beleive the amount of food they can get on a plate ! Lovely sandy beaches unpopulated at the right time of year.
