This is a lovely site. There is one field for caravans and another for tents and mobile homes which is a good idea. The site is well kept. The pitches are a good size leaving plenty of room between caravans. The showers are a bit dated but the cubicles are a good size. I only had to queue once which I thought was pretty good given that its the school holidays and the camping field was very busy. The village of Mundesley is lovely with a beautiful beach and its only a ten minute walk from the site to the village. The Wardens are very friendly and helpful. The only downside is the amount of dogs that are allowed. One unit had four. I like dogs as we have had them ourselves. But for anyone who doesn't like dogs it may not be the best site. Will visit again.

Visited this site for second year running. We returned with friends and family as we loved the site so much last year. There are two small camping fields - one with electric and one without. A couple of swings in the middle which the kids loved. A small field for caravans and a modern clean toilet/shower block with indoor washing up area including fridge/freezer. The wardens were fantastic, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. They suggested local shops when we needed a replacement airbed and made suggestions where to take the kids on the one day it rained. This is low key, quiet camping at it's best with everything you need in Mundesley village which is a 5 minute walk down the lane. Great friendly butchers for BBQ meat, bakery, chemist, post office, Tesco Express, Spar, Chippy, burger takeaway, Chinese, couple of shellfish vans, several pubs, one small amusements, a fantastic playground and skate park and of course the beach, beach cafe and toilets. We had a couple of dogs in our party and the dog friendly beach wasn't too far away from main beach. Our criteria for camping is clean campsite with electric hookup, decent showers/toilets and the beach within walking distance. This site ticks the box
I love this place as you have everything you need on your doorstep and you don't need your car. Would definitely recommend and hope to return next year

A very nice, very well kept family site with smart and well maintained facilities. They charge per person too, which is good when you are on your own. The owner was very helpful and pleasant. I felt a bit out of place with my bike and pup tent amidst the huge tents and vans. I was taken for a waif by a family who offered me some hot food (very kind though). I didn't think I was that scruffy. It was nice to hear children playing happily in the field. All seemed to be bedded down by 10, which was nice.
We aren't supposed to make adverse comments about other campers but, having said that, after a largely sleepless night I moved on to a quieter site. Just bad luck I suppose.
It's a half mile walk to the village and there is a Tesco Express nearby.
It's a good area for a family holiday. Cromer and Sheringham get crowded (good) in high season but there is plenty of space at little places all along the coast. The sea was lovely to swim in but watch out for submerged rocks and, my local friend tells me, rip tides near Happisborough (Haysbro' to you).

Great family park!
Facilities were lovely and maintained well.
Walking distance to the beach, which is beautiful.
Retreat back to a peaceful site with small swing area. We were surrounded by like minded campers.
The wardens are friendly and approachable at all times. Welcoming on arrival, pleasure to met you guys. 1st time here we will be returning see you in 2017 ☺

We stayed here for 9 nights. Just watch your sat nav and don't go via golf course like I did. You can get through this way but it's tight in places. Go through Mundesley itself. We arrived after 7pm due to traffic and were greeted straight away by the wardens Ian and Karen. Ian assisted with siting our caravan on the hard standing pitch. And Karen cuddled our baby boy while we did this. He also offered spare rock pegs to borrow if I didn't have any. This site really is a gem. Very well kept and everything you need including a disabled toilet if required. Nothing is too far away from your caravan. 5 minutes from shops and 10 minute walk from a beautiful beach. The touring site has mostly seasonal owners and what a lovely friendly bunch they all are (And a few comics on site). There are then 6 touring pitches which are all hard standing and pretty level (Bring some rock pegs) The ground isn't too hard but they will peg down better. There is also a tent field next door. Free WiFi is available which is a bonus. Location is also good being central to a lot of places you can visit. There is also a shed on site full of leaflets for your information. Books and DVD's are also there for you to make use of. We will definitely come back here. We have had an amazing holiday and will return ( Granted we have had blazing sunshine all the time we were there). Ian and Karen are always around of you need anything. They really are a great couple and this is their first year being wardens. Keep up the good work. All in all 10 out of 10 from us.

Lovely campsite our second visit and again we were not disappointed. Friendly greeting on arrival from Karen and Ian, New Wardens for this year. The site has two fields one which has hardstanding pitches where caravans and large motorhomes are sited. The second field is for tents and small to medium size motorhomes. We were in the tent field. Although grass, the ground was firm enough for our 6 metre motorhome. The children's swings are in the middle of this field. Whilst we were there a group of families were camping for the weekend. Maybe lots of kids aren't to some people's liking we found it refreshing to see kids outside playing games with their parents. Not a mobile phone or a digital game to be seen, although the site does have WiFi. By Sunday morning they had all left site leaving no evidence of their camping. The views from the site are lovely. There is a golf course next to the site and fishing nearby. The toilet and shower block is 5 star and kept meticulously clean. You can take a leisurely walk down the side of the site to the town centre and through the park to the beach. Ample parking on the sea front for those less able. The park is very well equipped with skate park, exercise equipment, basketball court and the usual swings etc. The beach is Sandy and has lifeguards for children's safety. There is a area dedicated for dogs which was great for us and our dog Bella. Dog friendly pub. Lots of shops and cafes. All in all the perfect place to holiday.

Just stayed at this lovely site it's a 10 minute walk into mundesley where there are pubs shops cafes chip shops, the site itself is keep very nice the grass was cut regularly the toilets and showers kept nice and clean it has dish washing facility, a hut with all local information is also on the site, the wardens karen and ian are lovely they are very helpful and if you are not sure about anything they seem to know everything, they knew we had gone out and I even got a call from them to see if we wanted picking up as the weather had changed for the worse this is the 2nd time at this site and we can't wait to come back again, on the 2 nd visit we had to go on the tent field which was not a problem as the site was full

Wonderful little site. Arrived on a Sunday and had no bread! Warden said don't worry and gave us half a loaf to be getting on with. 10 mins from village with a few shops and 10/15 to beach. Wardens keep the site lovely and clean, toilets always being checked and they are very helpful if you need advice or any help. Would recommend to anyone but may keep it to ourselves - it may get too busy for us to come back. Lovely couple running it.
