We were more than happy with the site when we last visited in 2009 but we were amazed at the improvements that have been made since. Showers and toilets facilities were immaculate and the site is very well managed. The restaurant and bar on site looked very nice although perhaps a little expensive. Easy access to a fantastic dog walk on site including a stream and a large field at the bottom of the site. Only two negatives - they do seem to have crammed a large number of vans onto the site, and even as a dog lover, I found the 7.30 barking and howling every morning from nearby kennels a bit overpowering.

Visit 11 nights in Aug 2010.
Being an adults only site it is quiet and relaxing. As we were there over the August Bank Holiday it was busy and our pitch was in Valley View along with some tents. However, the pitches are a very good size and it didn't feel cramped. The pitch was on a slight slope. The grass was kept in immaculate condition and was mowed daily. Very impressive. I generally prefer hardstandings but these grass pitches were excellent and I would have no concerns about being put there again.
All the facilities are in one building and unusually there is a restaurant and bar. We ate there once and it was excellent quality but a little pricey for daily use for us. The showers were good quality. I have seen some reviews say that they could do with more but I never had to queue!
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Overall I would say this site is excellent. Adults only and dog friendly it will become one of our favourites I am certain. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely peaceful site, very clean & well maintained.
The bar/restaurant is great for an evening meal, however I was disappointed when my wife & I went there for a meal on our anniversary, we sat on a table for 4 as there was plenty of spare tables and wanted a bit of space only to be asked to move to a table for 2 'in case' anyone came in wanting a table for 4 (which nobody did!) I mentioned this to the barman who just shrugged his shoulders, just seemed a bit graspy to me.

We visited this adults only site as it was the school holidays and we don't have young children. We found it easily and stayed on the grass terrace which was very open and bordered the woodland dog walk. This was incredibly well kept with a small stream and access to a very large field and local walks. If you try the circular walk take a ball of string because some signs are missing and it also includes a walk back along a very busy, pathless road which we felt was too dangerous to even consider. However, we did find the pub eventually and the dog was shattered and slept soundly all evening! There is a popular restaurant on site that we didn't try and the shower rooms were very attractive, practical and clean. For the last half of the week we did hear the boarding kennels nearby and this was the only downside, although outside the owners control anyway. There are pebble beaches nearby and supermarkets close to the site. This was a friendly and well kept site that we probably would return to.

Just back from 12 night stay, we found the staff at the site very friendly and helpful, we were on pitch 36 which was ok but the high hedges around the pitch did make us feel a bit closed in and we lost the sun quite early in the evening. The caravan part of the site was slightly sloping but nothing major. The facilities were really good with showers and toilets on both sides of the building. The camping field was on quite a slope but the tents were generally put on the level areas. We ate at the buzzards bar three times and found the food to be really good, well presented and the atmosphere was very pleasant, the prices were probably cheaper than at the local pubs.
The area is very hilly and most of the beaches are shingle, all in all we had a really enjoyable and relaxing time at Bingham Grange.

We had originally planned to stay 2 nights before moving on but found Bingham Grange so good and so well placed that we stayed for 7! The whole operation is run so very well and the facilities so superbly maintained. The Buzzard restaurant was used a couple of evenings and the nearby Washingpool Farmshop/cafe supplied our shopping needs very well ( as well as Sunday lunch and a cream tea!)
The absence of children was a little strange at first but we soon adapted. Also the large number of dogs but these were on the whole well controlled by their owners.

Another great visit to this lovely campsite. The toilets and showers are a joy to use. No money, no 'push and pray' taps, no children! Staff are highly professional and helpful.
We have visited twice before - the only campsite we've gone back to - and it was the busiest we've seen it. It is a great location for touring and walking around a beautiful part of Dorset. Pity there is not a decent pub within walking distance. The on site pub/restaurant does a good job but would not be our choice apart form its convenience.
A bit of a smell around the bins - sorry to sound negative because we really do rate this site and will return.

Just come home after a two night stay at this camp site.
On arrival you are shown to your pitch and ours was at the bottom of the camping field. The pitch was clearly marked out and we were told that we could pitch the tent anywhere within the pitch.
The pitch was on a slope which we didn't think would be a problem when we pitched the tent but as the day went on it became clear that the slope was a problem. The camping stove was on a slope, which made making tea very hard as there was no flat surface. It also made sleeping very hard as you felt like you were sliding down the slope and if we had turned the bed around we would have slid into each other.
The site itself is very nice. It is peaceful as no children are allowed on the site. The shower blocks are well kept and there are individual shower rooms with a toilet, shower and basin. These did get crowded at peak times though. You are expected to mop out the shower you use after use. There was always warm, if not always hot water.
The restaurant serves very good food but we did have a problem the second night we went into the restaurant as it was very crowded and we had to wait for a table. Trouble was they kept being given to other people who had come in after us. We had to complain before being given a table and then it was getting late.
The leaving time for your pitch is 11am but on our last day the grass was being cut around us as we packed up at 10.40am. They could have waited until we had actually gone.
The camping park is well located close to the town of Bridport and it is close to the lovely coast at West Bay. Weymouth is about 20 miles away but is easy to get to. There are plenty of things to do around the area.

We have just returned after a five day break. We could not fault the cleanliness of the toilets/showers, however there was just not enough of them to cope with demand. The owner has now another field open for tents and feel should have another toilet block to ease the problem. It was a nightmare sometimes not being able to shower until lunchtime. We also felt the pitches in the top field, for campervans and caravans were far to close together. We could hear the man snoring in the caravan next door!

This is a wonderful site! We have just returned from 2 nights stay and loved every minute. The park is situated in very peaceful grounds, only birds and the cockerel making noise! However it is only a short drive to a morrison's / co-op in the town and any sight seeing is close by.
We were shown to our very spacious flat pitch as soon as we arrived which was surrounded by young conifer plants, which in the years to come will give lots of privacy. As you can imagine some pitches were on a slight slope though. The grounds were immaculately kept and there was a lovely walk around the park, plenty of space to walk dogs.
The toilets and showers were like no other campsite we've been to before, the shower was better than ours at home! They were always clean and tidy and also lots available so we never encountered queues.
There is a restaurant / bar which serves great food and plenty of it! If the toffee fudge cheesecake is on you have to try it.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful although as everything was so good and efficient we never really had to speak to anyone!
We thought that this site was very reasonably priced for the facilities it offered and for the location.
We are already deciding when we can go back!
