August 2004 Excellent Site and we had very large pitch. Cannot say enough about the facilities, drainers in the washing up area, rotary lines to hang washing out. Had a great time and would go back. My only gripe was that there was no facility to freeze your own ice packs, you had to hire theirs at £1.00 each (refundable) and then pay 50p a time to freeze each one. As family campers we usually use 4 a day. £2.00 a day on the cost of the pitch is a little much. Also we had problems finding frozen ice packs.

Aug 2003 7 Night stay in Large Tent. 2 adults + 2 kids + 3 other families on adjacent plots.
Excellent medium sized family site with heated outdoor pool, small bar, shop, giant chess, play area and games room for the kids. Short drive to Bude where there are great beaches for swimming and body boarding and a safeways for the weekly shop. Local pub and well recommended ponytreking just a short drive away. Pitches well maintained and marked out, ours measured 10 X 12 Meters which is more than adequate for a normal setup but would have been a squeeze to fit the Vango Vista 800 + Gazebo +car and Trailer had we not been with friends who let us spill into their plot. There are many larger pitches and if like us you take a lot of kit then ask or look at the brochure for one of the bigger ones. All facilities are immaculate and clean. If you are on the lower field you can’t hear the traffic on the A39 at all. We had a great week even though the weather was horrendous.
Only gripe was that Grumpy Pete was a little too grumpy for us, when he was not cutting the grass he was shouting at the kids, give them a break they are on their hols man!
Would probably visit again if down that way.

23rd July - 25th July 2003 Wonderful site with plenty to do. The pool was fab along with the giant Chess and Connect 4. The showers were immaculate.
Very friendly staff and a well stocked shop.
The noise from the nearby A39 is a little on the loud side but this is the only niggle i have.
All in all a great family site.

13 july 2003 This is a really lovely campsite with well thought out facillities. My only negative comment about this site is if you are pitched near the top end of the site, the noise from the main A39 is very loud .
The swimming pool is very clean and a pleasure to use. My son and i enjoyed the pool table and oversized connect four.
The shower block was immaculate!
