June 2004 Nice small compact site - excellent for younger children with play park near toilet block and reception. Facilities clean and tidy if a bit tired (missing and broken hooks on shower doors)
Didn't eat in the Lock pub but our neighbours did and raved about the food - but can recommend the Fish and Chips from Cookley village. Cookley is not well signposted but is only 1 mile down the road (turn right out of site then right again before the Lock pub.) There are three pubs in Cookley, Fish and Chips, an Indian Takeaway and a Tesco Express which prevents you having to fight through taffic in Kidderminster if you run out of beer!

Aug 2003 Nice site very clean shower/toilets. Well laid out with flat pitches. All other campers very friendly and staff willing to help as well. I recommend a visit to the pub named "The Lock" only 100 yards from the site. On a good day you can sit outside and watch the barges use the lock on the canal. Recommended site will go again.

July 2003 Nice site and well maintained, always found the shower / toilet / washing facilities to be clean. Plenty to do with the kids in this area (Black Country Museum, Severn Valley Railway, Safari Park etc). The shop / reception rarely seemed to be open though but having said this we will more than likely visit again.

13-15 june 2003 This site has mostly sloping pitches which are available for all units, some with hook ups. The play area, although "ranch type fencing", is close to the main enterance. The facilities are old but clean having showers, toilets, individual cubicles for washing in the ladies. There are also disabled facilities, dishwashing and laundry. Dogs are allowed. The site could do with some mmoney being spent on it as a lot of the road is gravelled rather than tarmaced, which is a danger to children falling over and off bikes. There is a lovely pub, named the Lock, just a minutes walk which has food and a play area for children There are also lovely walks along the canal itself.
