July 2004 A great site within easy walking distance of Glastonbury town centre. A nice open field with a few trees for shade. Very good good shower/toilet block and reasonable shop. A friendly and informal site.
We will be returning next time we visit Glastonbury.

May 2004 I felt I had to submit a review to temper some of the effusive comments already submitted.
This site is OK but hardly anything out of the ordinary. We arrived on a bank holiday weekend and to say the site was crowded is an understatement. The owners had, in my view, allowed far too many campers in and this resulted in people pitching their tents three or four feet in front of their neighbours front door. Thankfully, nearly everyone went home on Monday leaving the site almost empty. Had this not been the case, the overcrowding and noise would have forced us to leave.
The shower block is very good and clean. The family cubicles are a very nice touch and were much appreciated. The shop is OK but seemed to avoid stocking anything we actually went there to buy, such as bread and matches. The staff were pleasant enough but somewhat taciturn.
This site is by no means cheap and I have misgivings about recommending it. I don't think we will go back.

June 2004 We stayed here for 2 nights in June. It's a lovely grassy site. The loos are so clean my son even commented on them! The people were delightful and you can buy hot coffee at the shop - ideal for an early start.
My husband booked the site, I would have missed a treat as I like to see a website before I go. Doubtless they will get one, but for now they know exactly which sort of site to concentrate on:-)

August 2003 This was a really nice touring park. We didn't book, just turned up & got a pitch. One nighters are accepted and you can book another night at the last minute as long as you let them know before 10am the next morning. Showers & toilets were excellent (they had won the loo of the year award apparently) and there was a little shop on site stocking all sorts of useful things (including a hot cup of coffee in the mornings!) Pretty site with well looked after flower beds etc drinking water available. Quite good value for money too. My only critisism was that the gates are locked at 11pm every night & if you happen to be one minute late there is no where to park your car. (We arrived back one night at 11.02pm & found ourselves in this situation & had to park a long way away & walk back to the site with 2 sleepy kids in tow!) I guess the answer to that is be back on the site before 11pm. I'd definitely stay here again though.

2001-2002 We used their storage facilities for our previous caravan and had many lovely weekends there. The owners are so friendly and helpful. The site is amongst the cleanest we have visited. The walk into Glastonbury is fairly easy. Only 1 grumble the shower block is unheated so it can be extremely cold during the winter months.

september 2002 A really excellent site. The proprieters were very friendly and very helpful. The site is absolutely spotless with all the facilities to make it feel home from home. The showers and toilets were the absolute best I've ever seen. Obviously a lot of hard work goes into ensuring the camper and caravanner has a super time.
