March 2005 What a lovely site right next to the river Coe where we had a bbq on the stones - fantastic. We were in our motorhome, everyone else was in a tent - all the other motorhomes where at the site in Glencoe itself - looked a bit formal that one so we were really pleased we went to this one.
It cost us £12 (no elec) and two kids - this was Easter Sunday. Fantastic scenery and walks. Toilets are of the portacabin style - absolutely fine and there were a couple of showers in the ladies.
August 2004 Good site, great location and views. There is a great pub (The Clachaig Inn) which is a ten minutes walk away. Camp fires are allowed in certain areas until 11pm. The toilets are clean and there are showers which cost fifty pence for five minutes. Head for the river next to the site for some outstanding views of Glencoe.
July 2004 Just the nicest campsite. A somewhat 1950's feel with its white painted rock edging to each road and hanging baskets. Each pitch has its own parking area, but rest assured it does not feel like you are camping in a car park.
Surrounded by impressive mountains with a stream through the middle. Generally great. Really friendly and helpful staff and a great pub just around the corner what more could you want?
