Excellent campsite, have been before and was looking forward to returning. Staff very friendly and helpful, facilities clean and well maintained.
Was busy but plenty of space and other campers friendly. Dog loved it as did we.
Would have stayed another night if wasn't for the gale force winds which aren't ideal in a tent 😍 we had lovely weather for the 2 previous days although plenty of midgie bites too which was to be expected.
Will definitely be going back to this beautiful area, lots of nice walks around too.

We enjoyed our stay at red squirrell campsite. It is situated in a lovely place right at the side of the loch. Just a pity the facilities weren't open, but that's understandable.
Plenty of activities to do locally. Really enjoyable stay.
We have not rated the child friendly, and the site facilities. Because they didn't relate to us

Superb location. Stunning views of Glencoe and the river runs right through the site. A good all round feel.
Very nice welcome.
You'll need your midge repellent.

Quite busy as to be expected although managed to find a quiet enough spot on the far right edge of the campsite where we could light our own fire, set up our tent and hammocks making it feel like our own.
In beautiful location surrounded by nature and mountains.
Toilets/showers a bit of a walk from where we were but didn't mind this as would rather be more secluded. On the pricier side although worth it as amazing location with stunning views.
Friendly staff and happy to help. Would go back again. Really enjoyed our stay

Great camp site. Facilities are basic but well maintained. The location is fantastic, especially if you get good weather.
My kids played in the river all day. Wetsuits recommended.
Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s quite spread out so take your time to find a pitch you like. The owner is hysterical! 😃

Spend 2 nights at Red Squirrel and it was amazing. The river is right next to you and the scenery is just beautiful.
Will hopefully be returning soon!
Close to An Torr which is a lovely walk to do. Many others close too. Dog friendly also which is great, my fluffy pup had a great time.
The toilets/showers and washing up area were clean enough for what you need. Just gotta watch for the midgies!

Loved this campsite.
A little frustrating that we couldn’t find anywhere to pitch an awning as ground was all rock And no camper and on the grass, but it didn’t matter.
All facilities lovely and clean and staff very friendly and helpful.

One of the best sites ive ever been to, its relaxed informality is superb. If you want plush lawns with rows and rows of caravans this is not for you.
If however you want a real camping experience in stunning surroundings you wont get any better.
Staff very helpful and most importantly friendly. (im truly sick of posh sites who act as if they're doing you a favour whilst taking your money and overcharging).
I'll certainly be returning to the red squirrel.
Facilities were basic but very clean and well maintained overall very happy.

Really fantastic place! Like wild camping but with facilities. Fab for kids & really family friendly.
Due to someone with a dog not picking up their mess we had to move our tent but this was not the campsites fault.
Highly recommend and will be back ASAP.
