This is now a Caravan Club site although open to non-members. It has just been thoroughly refurbished to provide top-notch facilities. The site is terraced providing fairly flat pitches - although some are a little small. As we were in a cul-de-sac bay for 3 units with only 2 units occupied, it meant the children had a bit of room to play next to the van. Saying that the play areas are huge, a massive fort with a fantastic view from the top level. A field for ball games, a field for running about and as we did flying kites plus a seperate dog walking field.
The toilet blocks are immaculate as you would expect from a brand new building. As we were there during the half term holiday, both blocks were fully open but they were planning to close off half of each with expected fewer people on the site.
The restaurant served adequate food and the staff were friendly and willing to assist in anyway such as bringing out our sons birthday cake and singing! The Spar shop sold everything needed - even candles for the cake.
The only downside for us was that the pool area had not been completed. This was unfortunate but it looked as though it was going to be fab and we would like to return to take advantage of it sometime in the future.
All in all a great site and well worth a visit. Have fun.

this is the best site we have found for rug rats and the family pet both wellcome, big site but not too big fun and frendly wonderfull views aross the sea nice outdoor pool and a good entertainment place . well worth the vist

Tiered site so all pitches are flat, even on a 20 degree incline!!!
Had plenty of room for a big Jamet trailer tent and extention.
Smashing views,bus stop outside camp gates,to Dartmouth one way,Paignton and Torquay the other.
Toilets and showers were ok,no queueing and they were cleaned reguarly.
Small club house and very cold swimming pool on site.
Field for overnight arrivals.
