I took my Nephew here as a treat as he is partly disabled and we found the site to be very clean and the staff very welcoming on our arrival.
In the Gents toilet there are 2 showers and only 2 toilets (no urinals), the showers are free and hot which is a massive bonus when camping. The toilets were immaculate and smelt pine fresh on both days :)
The plots are quite small, but there was only 2 tents on Friday and 3 on Saturday so it wasn't an issue, but I would imagine in the busy seasons it might get a bit crammed.
The local pub served us one of the best Mixed Grills I have ever had and also sell real ales, it is about a 3 minute walk from the site, so a perfect way to end an evening.
From the site it's a 5 minute drive to Llanberis which in my opinion is one of the nicest places in Wales with loads to do for all ages, especially the Mountain railway, everyone should do this at least once.
There is a lovely Indian restaurant, 2 chippies, a Spar and a great giftshop which sells some stunning little ornaments etc. You have 2 large lakes overlooked by a Castle, you can go and visit the Keep for free, and the Slate museum which is also free, but please donate to ensure it stays open. There is also a lovely dive centre there which is awesome and another small gauge railway.

A gem of a site. Received a warm welcome for both us and our dogs. Very friendly site with a pub a short walk away (dog friendly in the tap room).
Water taps in abundance with fairly level pitches. Central location for visits to caerorfon and Llanberis. Snowdon in easy reach.
Had a fantastic easter here and will be going back.
Toilet blocks are due for re-development which we believe is planned.

The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly.
The facilities are modern and well-maintained - free showers and a dish-washing area, with drinking-water taps spread around the fields.
There is a large secure dog run to exercise the pooches!
There is no shop on site, but the main village is about 15 mins away on foot.
There is a nice pub about 5 mins walk down the road.
We had a lovely time here as it was very quiet even though is was Easter.

Great week at the end of May. This is a lovely site well positioned for touring North Wales. Site very clear with spotless toilet block. The week we were there the rally field was full and at first I was worried the showers would not be able to manage. That was not the case.
The Pub at the end of the road serve very good fresh food at reasonable prices, but get in early. Pie shop over the road well worth a visit. The Owners are very Helpful. Whilst I would like to keep this site quiet, so it was always available when we wanted to go, that would be selfish. We will be back very soon.

We stayed at this site for one night, we never booked just turned up as we were in Llanberis and this was the closest site. Nice friendly owners and got a level pitch with hookup no problem. Toilets spotless and new. Free hot showers. The site was very well kept with recycling bins provided. The pub was in walking distance and overall very impressed and will be returning next year.

Excellent site. Facilities were spotless. Even though only 2 showers and toilets, never had to wait. The pitches were well spaced and there was plenty of space for our 2 year old to run around in.
Excellent central location. Two good local shops and an excellent butcher in Llanrug. Great pub at bottom of the road which is family friendly with a play area.
Definitely a site to return to.

Excellent little site, nice and peaceful and clean. Very friendly with good facilities. Showers nice and hot and always clean. Electric hook up is 16amp so many sites could learn from this. Good site to base yourself from for exploring Snowdonia. Highly recommended. Will visit again.

What a lovely site, we went on the off chance to LLANBERIS and stumbled on this site. There were only 6 tents on the field, which was like a premier football pitch. It was nice and quiet, a new toilet block, which was spotless, only two showers but never had to wait. Only one sink to wash your cutlery, but again no waiting. The local pub is just down the road and a Spar type shop which was not dear. It's close to Llanberis and other North Wales resorts. I will definitely go again and at only £10 a night for two adults and pitch and showers are free and lovely hot.

Our first camping trip to North Wales, the weather was great and we found a little gem of a site. As earlier reviews indicated the toilet blocks were kept very clean. The modern temperature controlled showers were of a higher standard than many sites we have visited and users were provided with a bucket and mop to wash the floor after use. However there were no facilities for clothes washing and only one sink for washing up. We rarely had to wait to use anything, but if the site was full ( one field was not opened ) the facilities would be stretched. We camped over the Whit bank holiday and the site was not crowded. The weather before our holiday had been very wet but there was no indication the site had suffered as a result. The camping field has no set pitches but is generally level. I feared the dreaded midges but saw no sign of them here, still it was early in the season. There is a pub almost in spitting distance, which was friendly and a source of fantastic beer, it served food but we didn't eat out. We did try the village butcher but found him to be a little expensive. We prefered a butchers in Bangor city centre for our barbeques. Llanrug does not offer great walking around the village, but is only 3 miles from Llanberis, which is very close to Snowdon and the National Park boundary. From Llanberis you can take a 5 mile circular walk around Lake Padarn which offers stuning views and provides only a moderate level of difficulty.

Lovely site, in a nice location. The showers & toilets are nice & clean with plenty of hot water. The site is in good condition. Slightly slopping side on so you might need blocks. Shops local shops are with easy walking distance. bakery across the road, more shops in LLanrug, and Caernarfon & LLanberis near by. Well worth a visit.
