Wonderful site. Very well kept and extremely clean. Emrys was so helpful and very friendly. Nicely situated for all beautiful Snowdonia has to offer. Will be returning in the future cannot recommend enough.

This is great place to stay for visiting north wales. The owner is one of the nicest site owners I ever met. It's location is perfect for the whole of snowdonia, also for trips to the coast, angelsy, the lynn peninsula, Llandudno. Emrys the owner is a mind of information he will happily point you in the right direction. There is a bakery just over the road and a wonderful pub a short walk away

What a site. The owner, Emrys, could not have been more helpful. When booking late to meet friends, he went out of his way to ensure we were sited with them. A more friendly and affable host you could not wish to meet. The site is kept immaculately and everyone has plenty of space. The refurbished toilets and showers are first class. Emrys keeps hens whose eggs are available to campers and he will organise a daily paper if requested before 7pm. A bakery is is just a short walk away and a pub serving good food is on the doorstep. Not much further away are the delights of Snowdonia and Anglesey. What more could you need? Peace and quiet, yes you get that too. Would we visit again, you bet we would.

Great caravan park. Very clean. Very welcoming. Lovely location. Have visited several times and will never hesitate to rebook. Washing facilities are very good and the site is kept immaculate. Nice large spaces to park a van or pitch a tent.

Thank you so much for a pleasant stay at your campsite.
Your facilities were top notch and it was great to have a hairdryer to use after a lovely shower, especially with the summer rain.
The eggs from your chickens look excellent.
Take care.
Kind regards
Sarah-Lynn

Spent a wonderful five nights at Llys Derwen and what a pleasure it was. Really lovely quiet campsite away from it all. Emrys was so helpful and went out of his way to make our stay as memorable as possible. It was my first visit to Wales and his knowledge of the area really made a huge difference. Highly recommended. I will be back, no doubt about that. All the facilities you could want, clean showers and toilets, hot water galore and drinking water right on our pitch. Excellent.

We decided to arrive a night early and Emrys was more than happy to accommodate that for us even though we didn't arrive until 11pm. He stood with us whilst we set up, giving us extra light and informing us about the local area. He suggested loads of different things we could do. The showers were very clean and could go as hot as you wanted which was perfect after a cold, windy day climbing mountains. We had some fresh eggs from him for breakfast which were lovely. Would definitely stay again if we are back in the area. Campsite was quiet with lovely views.

I know this is rather late but just felt I had to say what a fab site this is & the owner is one of the most helpful & approachable site owners we have ever met.
We stayed over the Easter weekend & while we were there we climbed Snowden via the Llanberis path.
After all the effort sadly the views from the top were non existent. We also walked around Llyn Padarn & visited the fab mining museum. If we were to visit the area again we would definitely hope to visit this site

We've just visited this gem of a site. We booked on the way to North Wales and were lucky that they had space. On arrival we spoke at length with the owner who was super helpful and knowledgable about the area. A real gent!
We were in the camping field, a short stroll from the facilities that were clean and tidy throughout our 3 night stay. There are electric points for those that want them and water stations at various locations throughout. We didn't queue at all for the showers (always hot), toilets, washing up. Handy freezer for ice packs and a mini launderette.
Flat pitches, lovely field for the little one to play, a real cosy campsite. There are chickens to feed your leftovers to and a field for dog owners to let the dogs have a run. There is a pub situated nearby with good food at reasonable prices and Llanberis is a stones throw away. There is also a really good fish and chip shop up the road that the owner told us about. Overall a great stay, 10/10, we'll definitely go back next year.
