 What a lovely peacuful site. We turned up on a sunday morning and stayed for 2 nights. Had no problem getting a pitch. The owner was friendly and efficient.
The pitches were nice and level and we had plenty of space. The showers were warm and fairly powerful, not a pathetic dribble like some sites! everything was very clean and there were no queues for the shower, toilets or washing up room, although we didn't stay over a weekend so the site wasn't very busy.
All in all a very nice site, ideally placed for Snowdon and close to Caernarfon. we will definitely be staying here again.

Absolute gem of a site! Tucked away in the village of Llanrug, about 4 miles from Caernarfon on the main Llanberis Road, this site is perfect for anyone wanting to explore Snowdon and the surrounding area.
The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly - we'd asked for a quiet pitch and they went out of their way to make sure our stay was peaceful. The facilities are modern and well-maintained - free hot showers and a dish-washing area, with drinking-water taps spread around the fields.
There is no shop on site, but there is a wonderful bakery just over the road selling fresh-baked bread and cakes - perfect for breakfast! The main village is about 15 mins on foot (2 mins by car) with a Londis, Spar and Post-Office for groceries, and an award-winning butcher (make sure you try their pies!).
There is a nice pub about 5 mins walk down the road, serving some nice ales and traditonal pub food (large portions too, excellent after a day on Snowdon!).
We were really pleased to discover this site, and we'll certainly be back.
