New to lone caravanning, but this site has spoilt me for anywhere else and I have been twice now and will be back next year. The showers may be in a container but they are absolutely brilliant. Loads of room and I mean huge and loads of hot water.
I have four dogs which was no problem and an excellent park nearby.
The owner is laid back, easy to get on with, mega helpful and even lent me some money when my handbag was stolen. (not from the site, I hasten to add!)
Lovely peaceful site with beautiful countryside surrounding.

Only £15 a night, which is great as long as you don't mind the dirty loos. (Only two loos for ladies, two for gents). The showers were hot and clean, but again only two, one ladies, one gents). Also the fact that these showers where in an ugly old shipping container at one end of field was a bit off putting, but they did work, and were hot and spacious. The guy who runs it was very welcoming and laid back about arriving and leaving, (anytime you like he said). It is situated in a quaint little village, sweet little cottages and an old church nearby. The only downside is there is no shop in village, or anywhere on site to get milk etc. Otherwise I would say a very good place to stop over. What do you expect for £15.

Just returned from 5 great days at St Peter's Farm. It's a lovely campsite with a friendly and helpful owner who likes to check everything is OK but is never intrusive.
It is a pretty peaceful site. We did not need electric hook up, but it is available if you want it. We like to have a camp fire so this was great (but bring your own wood). We were in the 'Summer Hill Field' which is just a little way away from the main area which was just fine for us.
Facilities are quite basic but very clean and well maintained, fresh soap and proper clean towels everyday in the toilets and the showers were excellent and they are huge! No problem with all your stuff getting wet and all included in the very good price of £15 per night per pitch.
The pub just outside the site (The Bear) was great, very friendly and the food was excellent and quite reasonably priced.
All in all a great place and we will definitely go back again!

Excellent campsite. We could park our car next to the tent, put gazeebo, made fire outside our tent, spent two nights just for the price of £30.
When we arrived, contacted Jon, nice manager that was passing by our site 2-3 times a day to check if we need anything. Nearby were the sheeps and bulls which we could show to our children (2 and 4 years old). The most amazing was the sight of red kites flying above our heads.
Toilets clean - two for ladies and one for men, 2 showers, easy access to drinking water.
Not busy. On the field size football pitch were only 3-4 tents, so pleny of space.
Tesco and Sainsburys 2. 5 miles away.

We camped here for 2 nights over the late spring bank holiday. The weather wasn’t perfect, we arrived in the rain and left in the rain with some beautiful sunshine in between, but the campsite and extremely helpful and friendly owner Jon certainly were. We had a tent without hook-up and were put in the Summer Hill field which was a short distance from the main campsite. A large flat field with a tap and single portaloo. Two beautiful grey ponies were in the field next to us, which pleased the children, and red kites wheeled overhead.
We were told to pitch anywhere and encouraged to have a fire. In my opinion a camp isn’t complete without a fire, so I always tick the “fires allowed” box when searching for campsites, which ensures I find the basic and informal campsites I prefer.
I suspect some people may grumble about the limited facilities, only one toilet for ladies that I could find, but they were clean with soap and towels, even in the portaloo in our field. My daughter had a good report of the showers which were free, or included in the £15 per night for our pitch which I consider excellent value.
This is a beautiful part of the country. Lots of delightful villages to walk to and only a couple of miles to the historic town of Wallingford on the Thames. The main Paddington / Didcot railway runs nearby and although we could hear the trains they did not bother us in the slightest. There was no shop on site but we didn’t need one. Wallingford Waitrose is only 4 miles away, Didcot slightly nearer. There is a Pub by the site entrance which looked nice but we didn’t visit.
I would thoroughly recommend this site to anyone who likes a basic informal camp and is fairly self sufficient. Just “perfick” as Pop Larkin would say.

Lovely quiet site with plenty of shade in a pretty village. The owner is very friendly and helpful and facilities are good, well tended and clean. There is a great pub nearby which is very dog-friendly and lovely walks. Wallingford is approx. 3miles on foot across fields running alongside a pretty brook. Nearby park & cricket pitch so plenty of space for children & dogs. A thoroughly relaxing and pleasant stay.

St Peters Farm is a gem of a little site in the quiet village of North Moreton. The owners were friendly and helpful with regard to the site and local information.
We were camping with another family on flat ground with showers, toilets, fresh water and bins etc. Easy to get to.
As a regular camper, we sometimes find the cleanliness of the showers/toilets somewhat lets the otherwise good site down. In this case that could not be further from the truth. We noticed regular checks on the toilets and showers throughout the day which with young children is really good.
There were not many people on the site and tents were in a different field to the caravans. It was peaceful, relaxing and together with the lovely pub and nearby children's park, is somewhere we will go to again

We have been coming here for four years now and love it so much we leave our caravan permanently sited! It's peace and tranquillity we're after coming from London and that's exactly what you get.
The owner is possibly one of the most accommodating people I have ever come across and it seems there is nothing he wouldn't do for you!
The bear which serves some of the best pub food I've had is a stones throw from the site, situated at the top of the local cricket pitch with a park at the bottom for the kids.
Facilities now include showers which are always scrupulously clean.
The site is quite isolated but that is why we love it, there are no real rules aside from just being generally respectful of your surroundings and other campers!
We hopefully will be spending our time here for the foreseeable future!

Huge pitches and good for local pub.
Very pleasant owner/manager who moved us to shade and towed away stored caravan by our side to give us more room.
Even gave us a lift to local station the next morning. However, there is only two showers and one toilet for ladies.
No washing up tap/sink. So, while the attitude was super helpful, when this site is full, the facilities may not be adequate (think the site would have taken at least 10 EHU units plus some non EHU units).

Great campsite, very friendly and helpful owners, put our 4 tents all in the same patch of the site. Plenty of space, lots of fresh water and electrical hook ups.
Lots of red kites flying over the site.
Plenty of local walks, Thames is only a few miles away for launching Kayaks.
Large Tesco and Sainsburys 2 miles down the road for BBQ supplies should the British weather cooperate, several local fish n chip shops, Didcot centre less than 5 miles away
Quiet site, no road noise. Occasional train goes past but barely noticed that.
Only minor issue was the fact there is only 1 ladies loo and no dish washing facilities
