Fantastic location, very friendly owners, had a really great stay.
Campsite allows fires and has firewood on site.
Washrooms (portables) are clean and maintained.

Peter the owner really went out of his way to ensure our stay went smoothly. He found us a great spot and he is very laid back, as is the site.
People on site were friendly but it was incredibly peaceful too which we really appreciated. The field is
A gorgeous place to have a fire and we parked just next to it with a hook up and a red kite flying over head.
The facilities were basic but useable and fine - free showers - but the ladies' cubicles didn't lock according to my wife and daughters.

Great, back to basics camping.
Can have a campfire and very chilled about check in/out times.
Nice large field and can pitch where you want.
Definitely be coming back!

Camping like it should be at a great price! Beautiful, large field which the kids loved and the longer grass ment it was less muddy!
We were delighted to spend a couple of days, getting back to basics and used our campfire to cook, heat and wash up!
Can't comment on the showers because we were camping and went feral. The toilets flushed and there was soap and hot water!
Jon was helpful and friendly. Our only issues were with the loud trains and low helicopters in the middle of the night but that's not the sites fault!
It was perfect for us and the dog and we would love to go back again.

Good location. Toilets shower and washing up area very tired and needs cleaning more often.
Nothing to dry hands on in toilet.

Plenty of space. John was friendly. Could have an open fire. We were allowed dogs.
The location is close to a lovely pub and some great walks.
John was easy going and helpful.
Plenty of space for children to run around.

Quiet, enclosed by trees, in a beautiful village and very helpful friendly owner.
Loved it there and will certainly be going back.
Electric hook up if needed, basic toilet/shower facilities if needed.

We stayed with a group of friends to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday and the campfire field was perfect for us,
Jonathan was really accommodating and we were able to park together with an area for our event shelters to use for a party, loads of space for fun and games,
Great to have somewhere to stay without a list of rules, which suited us for the occasion.
Back to basics camping with no EHU in the large campfire field, but fine with your own on board facilities.
Nearby pub ‘the bear’ is great and next to a fab recreation ground which the kids in our group love.
Worked perfectly for us, would return.

We booked as a large primary school group. There was another large group there at the time.
The field we were in was basic with portaloos but next to some lovely fields with horses in.
The bear Inn is very close with a great play area, and they were able to accommodate us all for dinner.
