Blissfully quiet aside from birdsong.
Basic and peaceful which was just what we were after. And The Bear pub around the corner had just reopened which was an unexpected bonus. Lovely walks from right by the site. All arrangements managed via text very efficiently.
Be aware it is also a caravan storage facility which you initially drive through to the actual camping area.

Stayed for one night camping, were able to have our own campfire which was lovely but supplied our own wood.
Amazing places to walk straight out of the campsite.
Toilets were standard campsite, clean but nothing special.
Very helpful on the phone.

Lived up to expectations. Lovely location for folk who like country activities.
Good road links to/from the village location to the nearby towns.
A few coat hooks fixed on the walls to the gents washroom and in the shower rooms would be useful.
Thank you.

Used this site for three of us to meet up from different locations around the UK. Site was Ok for short stay. What was nice, Jon knew the group were three different units from different locations. He didn't preach, he just asked us to be socially responsible and then allowed us as responsible adults to do the social control ourselves, which is easy to do in the open air.
Site was very quite and a good way from any main roads. Great location if you are self-contained and are looking for a peaceful place to stay.
We had an electric hook up pitch which was 10amps. Water supply was on the entrance to our pitches and a hose was supplied to reach all pitches within out section.
Great space between each pitch allowed us to use any combination of vehicle/awning layout without encroaching anywhere near the adjoining pitches.

Plenty of space and pitches available. Could have had a campfire. Port-a-loos and main toilet block well stocked with toilet paper and seemed clean enough.
Only two showers quite a long way from the tent camping field. Showers and main toilet block were a bit tired but functional.
Owner friendly and helpful.

St Peters Farm was a lovely experience!
Jon was lovely and happy to help with any enquiry. We were a small group with children, the campsite was large with loads of space for the children and dog to run around. Being able to have a campfire was amazing, and noise levels were not a problem at all.
The toilet and shower facilities could do with being updated however they were sufficient enough. The location is great with a good pub within walking distance and a park for the children to go to.
We look forward to going back in October. Thanks!

Open camp fires allowed was definitely a highlight as well as plenty of space to pitch tent.
Relaxing place with trees that acted as wind breaks. Had a great time and would go again.

A lovely site, quiet with lots of space. Pretty village with good walks.
A few issues with drainage from the toilet sinks, these amenities could perhaps do with a little upgrade or a few more showers added.
But overall a wonderful site and area, good pub only a short walk away too.

Friendly and welcoming. Supplies wood for the camp fire and doesn't rush you off on the day you leave.
Nice local pub, The Bear' just round the corner that welcome dogs with some bickies.
All in all I would recommend.
Not bombarded with rules. Always a plus!
