Great place! Nice simple and quiet site.

Owner is very helpful and communicative.

Easy to get to, plenty of space on the hardstanding pitch I booked.

Didn't use the facilities so I can't comment.

Hook-up close and working well.

Other site users friendly.

A good price too.

Will definitely return when I'm in the area.

This was exactly what my friend and I were looking for - a great spot locally to meet up in our vans for a campfire and a catch-up under the stars.

Read other reviews on here before booking and concur with all the good ones!

It's basic/simple, which is what we like, huge field so we felt like we were in our own personal campout space, clean loos.

Jon was responsive during booking, really friendly and helpful, and very easy-going about everything.

Would have felt safe here as a solo traveller too.

Would definitely go again. Thanks Jon.

Just to clarify a few points before I give my final view. This campsite is not for anyone who is looking for 5 star facilities.

It is a very basic campsite, but having said that isn't that why many of us camp. To seek solace to get back down to basics.

The field in which we camped was huge, and Jonathan very kindly transported a portaloo near to where we decided to set up base. He came round and checked we were Ok and asked if we needed anything. He explained the basic set up and then left us to enjoy the spectacular views.

Yes it was a bit noisy with the trains and planes and the grass was a wee bit long, but the 12 of us really enjoyed the whole weekend. We went to the 5K park run nearby, went on a 10KM walk and enjoyed a pub meal at The Bear. Although the youngest member of the group was 17, we all enjoyed the facilities in the nearby park.

The sun shone the whole time, so just perfect. Thank you Jon for making our stay memorable for all the right reasons.

Cracking site. Basic, but does the job.

Very close to Wallingford - we happened to stumble upon Bunkfest - which was great!

Paul was lovely and extremely helpful.

Can’t wait to go back!

An excellent site for peace and quiet. The host, Jon, is very welcoming and helpful and also checks up to make sure everything is ok.

Access to the sight is easy and there were plenty of toilets available.

Camp fires are accepted and even encouraged. There are 2 pubs, one next door to the site (The Bear) and one about a 20 minute level walk away in South Moreton (The Crown) which was cheaper and serves very good quality home made food.

Didcot is around 4-5 miles away on there is a fairly regular bus service. The bus stop is a 3 minute walk from the camp site.

I’d highly recommend this site and will certainly return.

Jon was very helpful as I made my booking late in the day for that night.

It was great to be able to make a late arrival after work on a straightforward hassle free site. I paid online and was gone early in the morning to continue mu journey. Couldn't have been easier.

I think it's a working site and also a place for people to store their caravans up around the corner so not one of those fancy sites but perfectly functional and the field is lovely and flat. And it was excellently priced.

There is also a pub right next door!

Thanks Jon.

We love this campsite. We haven't been for a few years but it was as we remembered. If you want a chilled place with plenty of room then it's perfect.

Near to loads of lovely places with a great pub and park next door. Jon the owner is lovely and very laid back.

The facilities are fairly basic but everything you need: hot showers and clean toilets.

If you like strict rules and pristine facilities then it's probably not for you but for us it was great.

Great customer service, good location and loads of space.

Was able to camp easily as a group in a big circle, were able to use our BBQ and camp fire.

Dog friendly too! Exactly what we were looking for.

Toilets are better than portaloos, a bit spidery, blue plenty of toilet roll and soap.

Would highly recommend and will likely be back ourselves soon.

John was lovely, walking distance to great pub and playground,

Will be back.

Great location in rural Oxfordshire,

Toilets and showers basic but lovely site with lots of room for the kids to run around.
