A beautiful and peaceful site with a very helpful campsite owner.

Plenty of space with Red Kites flying over.

As long as you are happy to accept fairly basic toilet and washroom facilities then I would highly recommend this site.

It's a well located site, pitches are level (camping is in a big flat field).

Facilities are pretty basic but ok for a weekend meetup - portaloos in the field, with some proper toilets and a shower further away.

You can go for a good country walk straight from the site, and there are a couple of pubs nearby.

Lovely bunny rabbits, but portaloos and toilet block were dirty.

Could not find the showers. Also couldn't find a pitch with electric hook-up which was what we had booked.

Great campsite with nice local pub.

John was very helpful and made us feel welcome.

Hot showers and toilets on site, with an area for fires.

Big camp site with plenty of pitches in a variety of settings.

Great site with lots of walks! Jon was welcoming and friendly.

Toilets and showers were clean with lots of hot water.

Entrance to tent field was muddy due to the rain which the kids enjoyed!

Location was ideal for us as we were hiring a motorhome to see if we enjoyed it before buying one so didn’t want to go far from where we hired it.

The facilities were basic but perfectly adequate.

The site was very peaceful and we had a great weekend especially as there was a donkey sanctuary just along the road which is worth a visit.

Jon was very friendly and helpful.

We will definitely come back once we’ve bought our own van

 Jon was very welcoming.

The pitch on the outer field was great. You could have a campfire.

The ladies loos were very old and tired. Doors do not close and it needs replacing.

We found this site after a last minute decision to nip away for a few days and it fitted the bill perfectly !

The owner was quick to respond, very helpful and friendly and also very easy going !

The facilities were basic but perfectly ok, the site is spacious and level, tucked away from the main roads and yet close enough to everything you'd need such as shops, a nice pub for a meal etc.

Have to also mention the amazing stars at night, due to the lower light pollution - perfect to gaze on while you're sitting beside your campfire (which is permitted in the camping field !).

Overall, St Peter's gets 11 out of 10 for us and we'll certainly be going back !
