Hot clean showers.
Lots of space between everyone. Was allowed to have an open fire. Which was fantastic.
Lovely walks on doorstep through open countryside and local to pubs.

I stayed at St Peter’s campsite for one night whilst in a mini bike tour.
The site was extremely peaceful with plenty of space, although it was a Thursday so may fill up more at the weekend. John the proprietor popped round in the evening for a brief chat and he was very amenable and good to chat with.
There is a large Tesco on the edge of Didcot which was about a 10 min bike ride. If you’re on a bike tour and need somewhere to camp this is a great place.

Stayed for one night after visiting friends locally. We arrived after 7pm, but it was easy to phone the owner Jon and we were met immediately. Lots of space, although I was concerned about my Electric Hook Up point being the opposite side of the field. Potential trip hazard and possibility of people driving over it!
Basic Toilet block, water point, washing up facilities and chemical toilet disposal point all handy. Didnt find any showers, but apparently there were some. Possibly in another area. There are huge fields were campfires are allowed and loads of space.
I cant comment on the local pub or shops as we were only there overnight, but it would be on our list if we are in the area again.

I love this campsite and I have been to a lot of campsites! It is very reasonably priced and we are always greeted with a warm welcome. It is very family orientated and the kids love it here.
The park is brilliant that is at the entrance of the campsite.
The toilets and shower facilities are not A* standard but you shouldn't expect that with the price.

Lovely location and lovely field. The facilities are basic, but that's all we wanted.
Bonfires were allowed anywhere. The only bad thing was the noise at night. There was no noise curfew and we had a group near us singing into the early hours.
Would not recommend if you have young children.

Very nice and welcoming campsite.
The facilities are very well kept and are very modern.
Spacing is very generous and not cramped.
Very close to the Thames which is brilliant for a free day.

Our 2nd visit to this campsite and had another great weekend.
Friendly welcome, and lovely owner. Really relaxed site, lovely scenery. Love that you can have a campfire. Loads of families & groups playing music through the night and having fun. Despite this you can't hear other people much, and we weren't disturbed by anyone else.
Local to loads of shops, and a cracking chippie. All basic amenities, but don't expect any posh toilet blocks! Since our last visit they've installed a load of portaloos in the big field which is great but they were very full after a busy sunny weekend 😆
We love it here, suits our group perfectly. Hoping to go again before the summer is out.

Great location and picturesque part of the country.
Flat fields and basic amenities - everything you need for a camping trip.
Only criticism is perhaps a few more washing up sinks are needed.
Lovely couple managing the site - thank you for having us.

Stayed for 1 night as part of a cycle touring holiday. A basic site, very rural but only 2 miles to Didcot for food supplies.
Lots of family groups camping, nice atmosphere with campfires in the evening. Needs some investment to modernise the toilet block (porterloos were fine) showers (lots of space but only 2 in a non venitlated shipping container - not great when it was 36 degrees outside!) and more washing up/sinks needed.
£40 for two backpacking tents seems a lot when we paid £16 the following night at a similar campsite.
