Amazing views, beautiful beaches beyond belief. Clean showers, laundry facilities.
Joyce was brilliant! She even refunded us when we couldn't make our first night due to our car breaking down. Lovely lady.
Not many kids which suited us fine, but there doesn't seem to be facilities for them. So leave them at home.

A fabulous location for the beach which is ideal for paddle boarders / kayaks etc. Nice spacious pitch with enough room to park the car too.
Facilities ok - £1 for 15 min and shower was lovely and hot, they are very basic though and the whole building could do with a refurb to be honest as it's looking a little tired. £22 for the night is reasonable but would expect shower and better facilities for that.
The lady who runs the site gave a thorough check in service with plenty of info on covid safety etc.
There is a washroom there with a washer and dryer including kettle toaster etc but we didn't use this.
All in all would stay again for the location but facilities could do with an upgrade

Just the best location, it really is on the beautiful white sand beach. Slightly elevated which helps with the mighty midges.
The showers and toilets aren’t super modern but they are perfectly adequate (and I’m really fussy) with loads of hot hot water and are kept spotless. Great washing up and laundry facilities.
Karen was the most wonderful helpful host. It was so good that we stayed an extra night and even then I didn’t want to leave.
It will be on our annual Scottish pilgrimage list!

Lovely site with great pitches at the shore edge with uninterrupted views of Skye, Eigg and Rum and the bay at Traigh.
We had pitch number 10 which was great, step outside and a few metres away is the silver sand beach at Traigh. The water temperature won’t be to everyone’s liking!

Lovely setting on the west coast. The name says it all, Silver Sands. Right on the Beach with views to the Islands of Eigg and Rum.
Blue sea, swimming and all you would associate with tranquility. If you are lucky with the weather a Bonus and great sunsets.
No shop and small services facilities, but did not detract from the stay.
A lot of wild campers on the shoreline outside the camp which causes slight congestion during access with a Motorhome

Let me start by saying Silversands was not our first choice! But we always say things happen for a reason. We were on pitch 12 and what a view. Can see al the way to Skye from our pitch.
The sea is crystal clear and safe for all types of water sports. John and Karen are the ultimate hosts and work so very hard to keep the site in tip top condition and spotlessly clean.
The four legged children have loved their time at Silversands and have asked to come back next year (lol)
We will be definitely be returning next year and will stay a little longer. Thank you John and Karen
