Well maintained site with its virtually private beach with stunning views.
Owners are friendly and work extremely hard.
The facilities, while a little dated, are immaculately clean.
Perfectly located and sized for a get away from it all break at reasonable cost.

Fabulous site, clean, friendly and the location out of this world
Made better by lovely sunny weather and great sunsets, topped off by seeing first otter ever!
Loved it!

Very friendly owners.
Quiet and peaceful. Very clean perfectly adequate facilities.
Lovely shower and plenty of time for your money.
Spectacular views. Able to see oystercatchers nesting.
Look for John and ask him to tell you about Mermaid Island nearby. Altogether a wonderful stay on a lovely unspoilt natural site.
Would recommend it. 10/10.

Phenomenal setting. Good, clean toilets. Unobtrusive staff.
Greeted by a shut gate that did not make it clear we had to open, enter and close. Phone call to mobile number answered, but not effectively helpful. Resolved when other guests turned up and explained.
Motorhome drain woefully old fashioned. An upgrade would transform the overall experience.
Pretty good none the less.

Stayed at Silversands a few times over the years. Noticed the pod 4 years ago when we stayed in one of the statics. So was pleased to be able to book in for the dates we wanted!
Pod is located perfectly giving privacy with great views. Less than a minutes walk to the facilities ; toilets, shower, kitchen. Felt very well organised with covid restrictions.
Site was busy but not over crowded. Warmly welcomed by Karen who remembered us from previous visits.
The beaches around the site are beautiful and easily accessed for kayaking and paddle boarding.
My favourite site in Arisaig which gives great views of sunsets, Cuillins on Skye and the small isles of Rhum & Eigg.
Can't wait to go back!

Nice site in a very nice location with beautiful beaches on hand.
The grounds were very clean and well maintained and the check-in procedure efficient.
It is a great shame that the site has chosen not to open any of the communal facilities (apparently) for the season due to covid, when other sites are managing to open facilities in a limited and safe way.

The location of the site is stunning. There are different pitch areas and each one is afforded an amazing view.
The bay was gentle and calm, with lots of places to enter from the site and ideal for inshore kayaks and paddle boards.
The staff are really friendly and helpful.
The showers cost £1 but are clean and powerful.
Silversands sits between Mallaig and Arisaig, both places have lots to see and do, and offer a variety of places to eat. Definitely recommend Chlachain Inn in Mallaig.
Overall, we had a wonderful time.

Fantastic campsite. The location and coastal views were unbeatable.
Covid safety measures were in place so it felt very safe.
The toilet and shower facilities were spotless and in perfect working order. The washroom had a kettle, microwave, toaster and washing machines.
Would highly recommend.
