Beautiful and peaceful site. Beach access good.
Toilets and shop closed at time of stay.
Motorhome facilities were all together and easy access to them.

My Wife and I had booked this site 6 months prior to our visit. The reason we booked the site as the reviews were very good and the location of the site looked amazing.
Finding the site was easy; however. I would recommend using the second turn for Arisaig and do not take the first turning like some sat navs recommend. Anyway, when we arrived at the site you come across a gate which you open and close.
I would recommend that you check no vehicle is coming in the opposite direction before you go further as it could be difficult to reverse back.
After going through the gate you have a short journey of about 150 meters to the main site. The reception is the building on the left. We were met by Karen who was so friendly and helpful.
Karen took us to our pitch, which was number 16 - what an amazing view of the sea. We were literally only about 50 meters away from the sea shore. To be honest I would never be able to say in words how stunning the view was.
Karen advised us how we should park and she briefed us on the site facilities. Karen explained that there were limited/reduced facilities as a consequence of Covid 19.
It did not take long for me to set up our caravan and get my kayak ready for a trip around the local coastline. The sea is perfect for all ages who want to use a kayak or paddle board. The sand is so white - it is like children’s play sand.
The caravan site is not that large and there is good spacing between pitches. We put up our awning on our hard standing pitch with room to spare.
It appears that nearly all the pitches have a view of the sea, although some have better views than others. We did use the toilet block which was always clean - as stated there was restricted usage due to Covid 19.
What impressed me was that there was hand sanitiser points at all the site amenities. In summary, this site is in an amazing location if you love water sports, the views, golf, walking and just love nature.
It’s perfect. Karen and John were so very helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We asked if we could leave a little later than the 11. 00 am departure time and we were easily accommodated.
You can easily see why people visit this site year after year after year.

This was the first time staying in a pod and myself and Husband had a fantastic time the pod was exceptionally comfortable
Karen Was very tentative on arrival she handed us milk and cool cubes for the cool box. Very clean and quite and the views we had from the pod was exhilarating.
We only had the 2 nights but wished we booked longer will definitely be back next year for a longer stay ☺️

Great location, although not handy for a local pub.
Good clean campsite.
Although please drop the £1 for a shower
(my pet hate)
Include it in your charges.

Great site, breathtaking views of the Isles.
Very quiet and peaceful. Ideal if you love kajaking or paddle boarding.
Only downside is we had to go home.

An absolutely stunning setting, with pitches overlooking the wonderful beach. It’s has its own beach access, which was great for the kids. The site is very clean and the owner very helpful and hospitable.
We’re unlucky to have a very rainy weather so we’re a bit stuck with little ones as apart from the beach, there wasn’t much more to do. Go prepared with board games and food and snacks to keep you going if the weather is rubbish.
There are some great walks around Lake Morar, which is quiet ad stunning.

Fantastic site in a truly magnificent location. Most pitches face beautiful open views to Rum and Eigg. It felt strange having these beautiful views right in front of us with no need to drive.
Spotlessly clean and as we are a fussy family that means a lot. Well maintained, friendly and helpful.
Road access is very good with only a narrow approach with plenty of places to pull in for the last 3/4 if a mile.
We’ll be back next year.
Great site for children - well away from the main road. Sea, sand and rock pools. Best playground ever.
Local shop in Arisaig has all your basic needs. Shops also in Mallaig. Mallaig heritage Centre by the railway station definitely worth a visit.
Had a very good fish and chip takeaway from The
Old Library Lodge.
