Fantastic location and very friendly welcome.
Pitch sizes were excellent.
Toilet Facilities not open due to COVID which is disappointing as restrictions were lifted.

Wonderful warm welcome.
Excellent facilities.
Fabulous views to Eigg and Rhum and direct access to beautiful beach with silver sand as the name suggests.

Friendly and helpful welcome, we were given the best spot possible even though the site was nearly full.
Very clean facilities.

Despite booking for three nights we were allocated with a pitch that was back from the water and not very accessible. We noticed a number of much nicer pitches at the waters edge with electric hook up that sat empty for the complete duration of our stay.
The on site showers were reduced to two showers as a result of Covid regulations which made it difficult to get a shower, this was made worse as the shower block was closed for two hours between 11. 30 and 1. 30 for cleaning.
Very little interaction with the site staff as they were not around much of the time.

As experienced campervanners, this is the best. The Covid regs were exceptional as was the cleanliness of the facilities.
The site offers stunning views next to the sea across a silver beach in a little bay, overlooking a multitude of rocky islets, across to Rum, Eigg and Muck with Skye in the distance.
Glorious sunsets, and the whole area is full of lovely walks to little coves and beautiful beaches.
The site has good facilities, including a laundry and is conveniently placed between Arisaig and Mallaig for restaurants, cafes and food shops.
This is our third visit.

Lovely Campsite
Very clean with fantastic views.
Plenty of space between pitches and easy to access.
Literally right on the beach with uninterrupted views. Nice and small campsite.

Best site we have ever stayed on. Location Location Location- just fell in love with the area. Part of a longer tour and worked for us well.

Silversands is amazing! Fantastic location with beautiful beaches, stunning views and sunsets. So peaceful and relaxing.
Arisaig, Mallaig and Camusdarach beach in easy reach too. A great base to explore Eigg, Rum, Muck etc.
The site is extremely well managed, spotlessly clean and very COVID compliant. Great value for money. The owners are so friendly and helpful.
Huge thanks to Karen for all her help with our first campervan trip. We had the best time and can’t wait to return.
