Just come back from spending a weekend there... Just a couple of points: The site was flat and the grass was kept short, great for the wet weather!. The pitches were well spaced out and the price was good. My only gripes, the toilet roll was like tracing paper, and they didnt have any hand soap. They also gave you a key as the toilets were locked at all times, I originally thought this may have been done as they got vandalised by the kids, but it wasnt, they still went in and decided to throw the tracing paper over the floor, in the sink, and showers and down the loo!.
The only other thing was when we got there, we were told the swimming pool is closed on Saturdays as its the life guards day off.....Its a bit sill really during the holidays, this should have been mentioned when we first booked and they sent details. The kids were gutted to say the least. Apart from that it was fine!

August 2004 The site was clean and tidy with a well stocked shop that was reasonably priced. The toilet and shower block were cleaned regular. The one complaint I have is in the paper they give you when you book in, it gives you the price for a weeks camping but it does not mention that is the price for a four man tent. I have a six berth tent and there is a big difference in price. Scratby Hall campsite is nice but not a place I will visit again. The area around is well worth a look. There are alot of places of interest to visit.

July 2004 A fantastic site well managed with a mixture of firmness when necessary and lots of humour.I have never been in a camp shop that is so well stocked. The lifeguard at the swimming pool was a delight. The toilet paper, well the same comments as the other reviewers (Do you think if enough people pass comment there may be a change of brand?) We will return again - so much to see and do within a few miles, but our children aged 11 and 9 were quite happy on the site some days which gave us a well earned break.

August 2004 We had a rather large group of families that went and we had an excellent stay at Scratby Hall! Upon arrival we found out we actually had the private field given to us (for larger groups) which was awesome - we had our own toilet block/showers and our own gate to the playground which was practically right on our field. The owners are very friendly and we had no problems whatsoever. I would suggest definitely taking your own toilet paper as its like wiping with newspaper with what they supply ;-) Otherwise hot showers and clean bathrooms... definitely would recommend for large groups. Oh and the heated pool - isnt heated but still fun...(and its closed on saturdays!)

August 2004 Very nice site well maintained and clean, The site is small for the number of pitches, The Showerblock a little to small for amount of people on site, Well worth the visit but will take own toilet paper next time :).... shop on site well stocked with Caister-on-sea & Yarmouth just up the road.... The site is well located for exploring the North Norfolk coast....

May 2004 Well maintained pitches, if a little ordered for my personal taste. The site is quite small for the number of pitches and the shower blocks are as the previous reviewer stated insufficient for the potential number of people. The showers were often full at peak washing times and the toilet paper..... take your own is all I can say!
The site owners were friendly and helpful and the little shop was handy. The site was well located for exploring the North Norfolk coast and there was a handy bridle path nearby for dog walking.

july 2003 Fantastic Site... Friendly staff and managers. Small but fantastically stocked shop (things at VERY reasonable prices), great play area for the littlens, great games room for the kids, lovely heated swimming pool, (with lifeguard). Launderette too (also cheap) Our trip was only meant to last 8 nights, but we ended up staying 14. The only faults I can think of was there weren't that many showers available, (5 in the ladies and 5 in the mens, for approx 150 pitches) and loo roll on offer was the old tracing paper stuff you used to get at school. But nethertheless LOVED IT..LOVED IT..LOVED IT.. I would recommend it to anyone, especially young families. Situated about 10 mins drive from Great Yarmouth Seafront. I cannot praise this site enough, and cant wait to go back again.
