Great site, have been here many times, pool open in 6 week school holidays only, shop has basic needs, nice safe site for the kids, with there own play area, would not bother with premium pitch again, would of needed 8 meter water & grey pipe to reach outlets.
Beach only 5mins away, Gt Yarmouth 6 miles, Hemsby 2 miles, Tesco supermarket 3 miles.

We have just returned from 4 nights here over the Easter weekend. The site was pleasant to look at, well kept, tidy and spacious. The welcome in the reception was very friendly, our pitch was shown to us on a map and we paid £5 deposit for a key to the toilet block, were given a black sack for rubbish - a nice touch, and were set up in no time.
The site was quiet and peaceful despite being reasonably busy. We did back onto a road but it was a very quiet road and didn't disturb us at all. Our 9 year old daughter loved pedalling her bike around the site and it felt very safe. She also enjoyed the play area which whilst not large, kept her entertained for long enough. We did pay the £2 per day (per device) for internet connection and while I would rather it was free (of course) it wasn't extortionate either. The shop was well stocked and reasonably priced and open all day.
The area was excellent for what we needed with Great Yarmouth only 10 minutes away (traffic permitting) beaches, dog racing, Bewilderwood, boat hire on the broads were all within easy driving distance. I didn't personally use the toilet/shower block but my husband informed me they were 'ok' clean but a little on the small side. I feel the £25 per night for a super pitch was maybe a little on the high side but would happily pay it again to return when the pool was open as I feel the benefit of that would then justify the cost.

Just returned from an overnight stay at Scratby Hall - we wanted to see the sea! Really pleased we chose the site - definitely a great find.
1. Booking really easy - spoke to Caroline who was really helpful and I have to add the site was excellent value for money
2. When we arrived we got a great welcome, our pitch was big, level, and not crowded. We paid a £5 deposit for a key to the facilities - great idea as it means that young children need to be supervised and are not running in and out of the toilets and making a mess - a problem on some other sites.
3. A well stocked shop with pretty much everything you need - and all at reasonable prices as far as I could see. You can even get a coffee and a Hot Chocolate!
4. Its about a 10 minute walk to a lovely sandy (and at this time of year, quiet) beach.
5. The signs on the site request quiet after 10pm and silence after 11pm - our experience was it was pretty much silent after about 9. 30pm
All in all a really lovely site which we'll definitely go back to - for longer next time

Loved it. Staff friendly shown to our pitch rather then it being pointed to us on a site map big pitches shop great fresh produce and ok prices. Pool a big hit with kids park ok for 5yr old not so great for 11yr old maybe get a basketball/netball hoop for the older kids. Toilets/showers clean had toilet roll soap but having a shower was a joke the water went everywhere but on you and they were fixed heads all the showers were the same. Location was great not to far from anything had some great days out if you get the chance go to bewilderwood its a forest were big and little kids can have fun climbing sliding rope swings tunnels FAB

We recently spent 5 nights here as a last minute break with two adults and 4 children. The site managed to squeeze us in. The site is a very well maintained site with within close proximity. The toilets and showers were very clean and well kept. The only thing is that the water was rather hot, (rather that then too cold!) There is a key system in place for the toilets for which you leave a £5 deposit on arrival, this is ok if there are only two of you but can get awkward if there are more.
The shop is reasonably priced Ice lollies for the children were 60p which I thought was very good. The launderette was good value too.
The main reason we stayed here was for the pool. The kids spent most of their time there, it was supervised by a lifeguard and clean. A real bonus on the hot days. The site is quiet at nights but child friendly during the days with a small play park and space to play. The pitches are all level and well maintained.
Overall this site is very well managed, staff are lovely and its great value. We would recommend it.

Just returned from a 5 night stay on a non electric pitch (2 adults and 3 kids). Found the site to be very good overall. Was nice and quiet for the most part at night although I would camp further away from the ball games and park area next time as the teenagers tended to sit right outside the back of our tent at night until about 10 (not a fault of the site though).
Only negatives I could say about our stay were the following:
Showers whilst nice and hot are very very weak. Our home shower is bad due to low water pressure but it feels likes a power shower in contrast.
Half the pool was closed for a day and a half of our stay and then fully closed for a further day and a half after that. This was for maintenance reasons but seeing as use of the pool was a big selling point for us, this was a little annoying.
My wife found ladies toilet block to be a bit dirtier than expected. I personally thought mens were fine.
For reference I used Bude Meadows as our benchmark as that was an excellent site. This was also very good but not quite as good.
Shop was good and well priced and people at reception were very friendly and helpful.
For things to do we went to the beach at Caister one day. Beach was ok but centre is chav central. Good for kids though (ie go karts and arcades).
Also went on 55 minute drive north to Sheringham on 2 days and this is a very nice sea side village (feels like Cornwall). Beach is all rocks but when tide is out the sand is very nice and great for sand castle building. Also found water clearer than at Caister.
Eating wise we used a chip shop one day in Caister on Beach Road which was very good and also ate out at a pub called the Castle at Caister (Carvery place opposite Lidl). This was very nice and well priced and I would certainly go back there again.
So overall a great park and I would certainly go there again.

Last minute decision to camp for the night, rang the site at 08:30 to check on space and they were very pleasant informing us a space was available.
Upon arrival the reception staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us a really nice, well kept pitch ( with no immediate neighbours ).
The site is very well kept, toilet / shower block very clean, the pool looked nice but we didn't use it.
My children ( 7 ~5 ) thought the kids play area was good and spent hours playing in there.
Used the on site shop which was handy ( forgot bottle opener _£1. 50 ), other stuff reasonably priced.
No noise late evening / early night.
Overall a very well kept site, very nice owners / staff, well priced and we will definitely return. Recommended.

Had to accept the last pitch facing the entrance, however that was my luck. Decent site made better by an outdoor heated pool. Play area is very basic as are the showers, they are warm but spray everywhere. On site shop was fine. Very good base to explore the area with some cracking beaches. The use of a key for the toilets/showers is a strange one. Accept dogs on site, reception always attended. Good flat pitches with plenty of space.

We have just come back from Scratby Hall Caravan Park after a long weekend. We had a fantastic time. The camp was well maintained and very clean, with good sized flat & fully serviced pitches. The reception staff were very friendly and very helpful, so also were the other campers. The facilities were great, the shop had everything necessary and a bit more and the prices were very good. There is also a launderette which we didn't actually use as we were only there for the weekend but handy if you were there for a longer period. The showers and toilets were lovely and clean and there were plenty of them.
Our son enjoyed playing on the play equipment although it was a bit basic. The camp also had it's own swimming pool but unfortunately it opened the weekend after our stay so we were unable to use it.
The camp was well based, only 10mins away from Gt Yarmouth, with Hemsby, Scratby Beach & Caister only a few mins away. All in all a lovely camp & a great base to explore South & East Norfolk we'd definitely use it again.

This was the first time I have ever camped. I came here with my three children and partner who camps often.
We were extremely pleased with our stay here. The site and facilities were beautiful and clean and the staff very helpful. We can't fault the place at all.
We came to this area to visit the Sea Life centre in Great Yarmouth (don't bother) and play on a non-commercial beach (Scratby - brilliant) so this site was perfect.
We also felt that the site was very reasonably priced. We have booked a pitch at another site in another part of the country for the end of this month and it has cost us twice the price and probably won't be half as nice.
We will return!
