Clean toilets, good bar - best selection of bar snacks ever!
Good showers, easy to book in,
Great location for getting to Portsmouth as foot passengers on the ferry from Gosport.
Really enjoyed our stay.

Welcoming staff, could choose my own pitch all looked level & spaced out. Well maintained site staff always about doing something.
Adequate night lighting to see toilet block which was warm, clean & pleasant to use. Plenty of hooks in shower stall.
A small stool/chair would have been useful.
Great location for seafront walks.
Found my ‘go to’ location for Portsmouth area.
Thank you

As a touring caravan. The site was ok, very helpful staff. Entertainment on Saturday night was good.
Toilet/Shower facilities as what you would expect clean and tidy.
Thought the site was going to be a little larger than it was under touring side but still plenty of room to park up.
Just avoid the very outside Edge running parallel to the main road if you want no Road noise.

Very neat, clean site with friendly, helpful staff. It is a good layout with statics and tourers completely separate. £34. 50 pn with hookup. The free wifi is very weak.
Facilities clean but limited and I couldn't see the need for keycode locking.
The restaurant / bar was good and well-priced.
There is a lovely beach bar / cafe a few hundred yards walk (The Bay CAbin). Excellent food and service.
Buses 9/9A/X5 at site entrance - all go to Gosport where you can catch the ferry to Portsmouth, making a pleasant day out. Gosport is a dump however.

Site was undergoing some upgrades & improvements to pitches, so hopefully will look a lot better in the summer.
The only criticism I would make is that the pitches are on the small side width-ways and close together making maneuvering around the site a bit difficult if you have a larger outfit/ motorhome.
The toilet/shower facilities were good and clean.
Ideal site for overnighting if using local ports.

We had a great stay at kingfisher caravan park. Its a hidden gem, close to the beach and good parks. I hope to go back again.
They have pitches spaced around the grounds, I stayed near the bar but you can easily stop further away if you want more peace and quiet.
The facilities are perfectly adequate, clean and hot showers.
I liked the open space and plenty of picnic tables to choose from.

Having not visited the area for over twenty years and the site on the Isle of Wight where I used to camp is no longer there I decided to visit the Kingfisher site near Gosport, the site is ideally located for Portsmouth and Southampton and is just a short drive away from the pebble beach at Stokes bay with it's lovely views over the Solent.
Check in was very simple and the lady on reception was very nice and polite, on my first night the site was quiet the only down side is that the tenting section is next to a very busy and very noisy road.
The second and third nights where a bit busier but still nice except for the idiots who think it's ok to have stupid loud exhausts on their cars and find it acceptable to over rev their engines at the T junction.
The site is clean and very well laid out, the toilets could do with a duster to get rid of all the cobwebs but otherwise where pretty clean.
