Friendly site, well run and good flat pitch with views of the hills and water.
A short walk into Dunvegan for cafes and shops.
Good facilities and uncrowded just after Easter.
Summer would be busier for sure.

Stunning setting with great views over the Loch. Village a 10 minute walk. Facilities reasonable but the chemical waste disposal pipe was a first for me.
Basically the chemical waste is emptied into a waste pipe 3 feet above the ground. This does not have a flush so inevitably must get a tad unpleasant.
Wi-fi was touch and go and as there is no phone signal for us it was an irritation. However, in my experience the advertising of Wi-fi is no guarantee of something that works. You are informed not to stream anything as this compromises the bandwidth which I understand but simply connecting was at times difficult and I would imagine virtually impossible when it us really busy.
We could not get a TV signal at all which is a problem generally on Skye I am told.
That view though forgives almost anything though !

Superbly appointed campsite in a stunningly beautiful location.
An added bonus is the excellent food van at the site entrance. Lobster anyone? Moules frites?

This site was in a beautiful location with wonderful views all around. We had a pitch at the top near the entrance, so could see for miles.
Couldn't have electric so only stayed for one night instead of 2 planned but would definitely go again.
Even had fish and chip wagon by the entrance so instant tea too!
Didn't use facilities much as we had furthest to walk but looked clean and plenty of them.

Lovely views from the campsite, pitches were a very good size, toilet block and showers were good to.
Would come back again.
Kids were happy to have a little walk around the site and we had a look into the area for food.

I have never visited Skye and it was on my Bucket list. Having read previous reviews of the site I telephoned and booked. The Lochside views are stunning particularly at sunset.
When we visited it was pile them in time. The camping field has been extended and tents were everywhere. Caravan and Motorhome pitches were hardstanding with tight access. The toilet facilities were memorable but not in a good way. At first there was a peg arrangement for showers and toilet. Masks were mandatory as per Scottish Covid Laws. All of this went by the wayside given the amount of tourists using the facilities.
Facing the toilet block was the chemical waste unit. Sadly this had a padlock on the door. A sign directed the user to a 10 inch up-pipe and asked you deposit chemical waste into it. The stench from this was overpowering and spread to much of the site. The bins and skips were also in the same area and were overflowing.

Lovely site. Really helpful staff, well organised, and we had a fab lochside pitch.
Facilities great, very clean, slightly complex token arrangement for Covid, which some people obviously struggled with, but good effort by the owners in terms of trying to design a sensible system that isn't over-restrictive.
First campsite on this trip with really good showers and dishwashing facilities.
Washing machine / dryer still using coins only, not ideal, but Reception cheerfully gave me change.

The site is in an excellent area for mountain biking.
The showers were cleaned regularly but there was mould in the actual showers.
The site staff were friendly and helpful.
The down side to to this site you had to lift a manhole cover to the drains to empty toilet waste and once you did that there was nowhere to wash your hands so you had to go to the toilet block to wash them, it was not hygienic at all !
