A very open site easy to get on and off pitches with huge gaps between units, so everyone gets a view of the sea on the tiered site.
The showers are brilliant, with no timer, a powerful spray and plenty of room to change.
The site is very dog friendly with it would appear, every unit having a dog!
You can order pastries and pizza the day before (so there is a covid - safe pickup time) the shop has everything you might need to top up what you ca, e with, which is good as shops are a distance away.
The walk down to woolqcombe is mostly straightforward, although the public footpath going THROUGH the easewell campsite was 2. 25 miles to the beach we went to, which was Barricane beach. That in itself was worth the trip.
When walking to wooloacombe there is a path across the hills avoiding the steep road beyond morthoe, it’s on the left after the chapel as you leave town, the OS maps didn’t have it on, but the national trust own it.
Walking on another day to and from Lee is another great walk, stop at the Gramous Inn for lunch!
There was so much to see when walking we didn’t use the car once!
I came here years ago and the strong winds and wet weather made the open site horrible, however in the sunshine and low wind this time, it was idyllic… set you expectations accordingly.

Welcoming and helpful staff. Lovely quiet site. Well kept pitches, pristine showers.
You must try Miss Fea’s Cafe in Mortehoe. An unexpected gem. We went there for dinner, the food is excellent.

We absolutely love this site … it was our fourth visit & we’ll be back again for sure.
The facilities are brilliant the shower blocks are so clean & the staff all lovely & always have a greeting … everything you need is here !
Even the little shop is amazing with take out foods available etc
The walks from the site are just gorgeous & there’s plenty of them ! plus a bus stop right outside to plenty of places to visit off site 😊
Just one of our favourite places that offers it all & more … thank you damage Barton & staff

This is a great site and I highly recommend it. Very, very clean facilities and wide pitches.
Nice views (if weather allows) and just 20 min walk into Mortehoe where there are pubs and restaurants.
Will definitely return.

Spacious immaculate site. The owners take great care to keep site looking very smart.
Very open site, no hedges between pitches. Plenty of green space for games.
Walk to the coast is approx 2 miles. Close to lovely seaside location of Woolacombe.
Bus stop outside site, Monday to Saturday only. Not Sunday or bank holidays.

What can I say that hasn't already bee said. This immaculate, well run site is a real credit to the staff that run it.
Luxury toilet blocks, unbelievable views and plenty of walks making it ideal for dog owners.
There is a friendly little shop on site that sells most things that you would need and now does takeaway food as well.
Bus service runs from entrance to many destinations.
Overall a very nice site.

Well, what can I say - the reviews are very accurate.
The views are just stunning, the campsite clean and well equipped and walking distance to nearby town which has a few pubs with nice food and close to the Coastal path.
Large washing up area, washing machine, tumble drier - plenty of toilets and showers. The staff were very friendly and shop had everything you needed.
The fish and chip van comes on a Monday evening. Unbelievably the best I have ever tasted! It is a surprisingly large site but you are allocated a large area for your pitch.
We had booked for 4 nights but unfortunately due to torrential rain we had to leave after 2 nights due to a slight leakage problem!
Next time - camper van with awning!
