Lovely and flat, every pitch that we could see had electric points if needed at a small fee (£2) which we thought was very reasonable. Staff friendly, toilets and showers very clean and plenty of them. Shops/pub and chip shop 5 min walk away. There was also a breakfast van on site.
Situated 20 mins from Llandudno and 10 min to Rhyl. Will definitely be going back.

Lovely clean site and views of the mountains, showers clean but only get 2 seconds of water, toilets clean but some times closed for odd days, having to go to the loo urgently, going to the first toilet block isn't funny when its raining or dark, they should be open all the time. People who are there for the season are friendly and helpful same as the owners and staff. Hope to be there for many seasons

Love it here been coming on Henllys for over 15 yrs. Plenty showers hot water clean. May be a little pricey but just think you have the shops, Market, Pubs Close.
Well we're back again on 11/4/14 from there on when we can with working it's hard. Also laid back on the time you leave if not busy.

Me and wife took our 3 little ones on their first camping trip. We went to henllys as I have used this site for many years as a single person I must say that it was a pleasant surprise to see a road way and electric hook up points have been installed on the tent field. The local shops consist of a spar shop within walking distance. The wedover pub is even closer than the spar shop. There is a park area on site for the kids and a little snack van that has been there to some years now. The two toilet blocks are clean and usable, the showers are clean. As mentioned in other comments the field is well lit (about time). There are a couple of fairs in the area knightleys being just one. Plenty of arcade for the gamblers in you Well I could go on to ever, but to tell the truth we loved this site so much we will go back again next year

We stayed for 2 nights and were a family of a small baby. We were staying on the bottom tent pitch. Once we set up we went to look for the showers and toilets. We noticed that there wasn't any on the bottom pitch. The showers were just where you enter the site along with a block of toilets and then another block of toilets not far away from them. Think they could do with a block on the bottom pitch for the tent users. Good that they have a laundry room. The toilet & shower blocks were very clean. Handy that they had a baby changing room in the shower block. Would be a good idea to put a small bath in for babies. As you couldn't use the showers. Good that there is a park for children. Location is great as its a 10 minute walk into Towyn centre, where there are Shops, Fun Fair & Amusements. Plenty for the kids.

A cracking site well maintained and very tidy. Good sized grass pitches, toilet and shower block very clean and tidy. Well lit for evening strolling. Location is excellent with the town of Towyn right on your doorstep with all there is to do, pubs eating places, fairground, accessory shop, and much more. Would definitely return though I might choose a pitch slightly further away from the seasoned pitches as the get a wee bit rowdy at the weekend.

Just returned from 4 nights here. My tent is large (8m x 7m) but on calling to check availability they said it wouldn't be a problem and the cost was only £22 per night. I had called the nearby Ty Mawr campsite first who wanted to charge me £70 per night based on 2 pitches! The site is really well maintained and both the toilets and showers were spotless. Another bonus was the amount of lighting all around the camping field making it easier for the kids to find their way around in the evening. 2 bad points though, as other reviews have alluded below, the toilets are a fair walk from the tent field in the adjacent caravan field which became quite tiresome. Secondly, not really a lot the campsite can do about this I guess, but there are a large number of aggressive, opportunist and downright noisy seagulls. During our stay I witnessed a gull taking a burger out of a little girls hand and another taking chicken off an unattended BBQ as it was cooking. The tent was crapped on 7 or 8 times, as was one of the kids as she sat outside. The almost incessant squawking from about 4am until long after dark was a real annoyance. I know we were on the coast, but this was worse than usual.

All I can say about this campsite is absolutely awesome, Me and my wife and inlaws stayed here for a long weekend and the showers were spotless and large, there was a snack van on the campsite too but we didn't use it this time but will next time we visit. Its a short walk to the local pubs and there was a play ground on the site for kids to play on. The camping pitches were a good size and every pitch has got the option for electric hook up.

Great weekend at Henllys, beautiful grounds, great views, really clean toilets, showers. Just some people do not know how to behave and have no respect for others, still the site was impeccable even with the ignorance of others will love to go back soon.
Henllys is great for exploring with easy access to the A55 to get round North Wales Snowden Conway. Take the dog as well. Great walks and Henllys have a great secure dog exercise area.
Will recommend Henllys to any one either camping or touring caravan, both fields excellent.

Just arrived home after our first trip of the year at Henllys. Chose this at the last minute, and so glad we did. The camping field is huge with the majority of pitches being absolutely massive - we have a monty 6 with awning and still had masses of room outside for table, chairs and games. All are EHU. There were only three tents in the field but I can't imagine it being cramped even when full.
The site itself is immaculate, with a well kept children's playground our girls (9 and 7) loved. There is still a burger van doing all the usual stuff (good for a lazy breakfast) and a Spar just off site.
Plenty of (very clean) showers and toilets a short walk from the camping field.
We only paid £20 a night for this weekend - a great little campsite :)
