What a great site. This was our first visit, we have visited the area and passed this site many many times and thought we would give it a go.
Check in was very straight forward, as they were busy we were told to pitch on the G area which isn't usually for tents but we could as the camping field was getting full. This was great as it was a shorter walk to the showers and toilets.
The showers and toilets were spotless, there was hot water constantly and the cubicles were large enough for me to take my 2 daughters in with ease. There were also hooks for your clothes to stop them getting wet. In the toilet block had plenty of sockets for hair dryers and large mirrors.
There are plenty of bins and water points about, there is also a Laundry which we did not use.
The site has a permanent Burger Van type thing by the entrance to the site. We did not use it but it seemed very popular, there was a queue very morning for bacon butties etc. It sold everything from Chips, Pizza, beans on toast, scrambled egg, soup, hot drinks, popcorn, sweets. The prices were very reasonable too.
On a whole we had a great few days, and we will be definitely be going back again.

We booked this last minute (the week before bank holiday) as truthfully we could not get anywhere else and normally would avoid a large site like this one as we tend to like the smaller quieter sites. We thought £28 a night for 2 adults was expensive but went with it as we could not find any other sites within the area with pitches available.
On arrival we were not given any information regarding toilets, showers, waste etc and just told that we could pitch anywhere that was available. We were there for 3 nights and there was some campers with music on louder than we thought was acceptable after 11pm and you could clearly hear the boom boom boom from the club on the site across the road but I think someone complained and the warden came round to tell the music players on site off and we never heard it after that.
We were surprised by the number of commercial vehicles on this site and on some pitches 3 vans to 1 pitch
All in all a nice weekend with friends on a site close to the beach, shops and fair but we will not be returning to a site that we thought was overpriced.

Me, my husband and our 3 children under 8 all came here for our 1st camping holiday together in July 2011.
Over all we are 99% happy with our visit and will be returning again!
When we 1st came we weren't to happy as we paid a deposit over the phone and were told to pay £113 when we arrived which I went in to pay and was told we needed to pay a bit extra as the prices had gone up the day before we arrived which we weren't advised about over the phone.
Apart from that little mishap we really enjoyed ourselves the site is very well maintained there is always people around to keep a eye on things the showers and toilets are very clean and tidy the staff are friendly, the play park isn't overly big but the kids really enjoyed themselves on it.
Amusements and other things only 5mins down the road and rhyl only another 10mins away in car plenty to do for familys.
We all really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be coming back :-)

Me and my husband have been on this site now three times and really like it. It is very close to shops, beach, fair, pubs, and clubs. There is a play area for children. Plus a dog walk, the dog walk is at the front of the site near to the main road. the only down side to this is even though its fenced off their are wide gaps in the fence and gate so if you have a small dog it's easy for them to get through.
This happened to my 2 dogs and I ended up running after them luckily my 2 ran on the farm and not on the main road.
This site has excellent shower and toilet facilities but they could be cleaner ( the toilet bowl's sinks and urinals ) although this as not put us off we will be visiting this site again.

We stayed Sat 28-Mon 30 May 2011 we were in a campervan with awning & our friends in a tent.
I thought the site was very expensive for what it was - £26 per night for a tent pitch without EHU, £28 with. I know it was Bank Holiday weekend but there wasn't much to do on site apart from the children's play area.
My friend had paid a £50 deposit for 2 pitches without electric over the phone with balance to be paid at reception on arrival. When I arrived they tried to charge us for electric & the family in front of us were charged for electric although didn't ask for it.
The site hasn't much shelter for tents & we had trouble getting the tents up in the wind. No-one offered to help like on other sites but this says more about the people staying there.
We also had to complain about a large party who were playing loud music until 1am - the Security man was fantastic & they were silent on Sunday!
The toilet & shower facilities were fantastic! The ladies were in there constantly cleaning them. Although why people had to drive to the loo is beyond me!
There are 2 blocks within 2 mins walk of tent field - the nearest shuts 10pm-7am & has 2 electric sockets which is great for charging phone/hair straighteners. The ladies shower block had 14 showers which were spacious & clean & free hairdryers. Beware of the tap pressure - push the taps down & you get soaked.
Apart from my moans above this is a lovely site & I would recommend

Managed to get a pitch as all other sites where fully booked at Easter,
What a fantastic find. Have never seen so many showers/toilets on a site and spotless throughout stay,
Level pitches and an overall very clean and tidy feel to the place,
Shop 1 min walk from entrance and pubs / arcades / fair etc 5 min walk away,
An excellent open air family bar called knights bar?
Well worth a visit, good location to visit places,
Will be returning soon, recommended

Me and my family stayed on Fri 15/04/2011 - 17/04/2011 and we thought the whole site was spotless. The clientele was very nice, no gangs or groups of youths. My 3rd old daughter lost her DSI and someone had handed it in to reception which proves what type of people stay here. This was our first time camping with 4 kids all under 12 and they had so much fun ! This is a great site for families and very very clean, we will definitely be coming back again !

Me and my partner stayed here over one of the long weekend in April on our 1st camping trip, we stayed here because of the reviews.
I called the site to try and reserve a space as we would be getting there late, the lady on the phone said id have to pay with a card over the phone to reserve a spot, when I rang back later on with my card details a grumpy man answered and said I couldn't reeve a place.
We got there and was surprised how dear it was £28 a night! The field was jam packed so after looking round we finally found a space and pitched.
The toilets and showers are great and spotless clean

This is an excellent site with immaculate facilities and everything you need shops, beach, fair on the doorstep. However a word of warning for tent users who like electric. The area designated for tents with ehu is on the side of the site furthest away from the children's play area. This may not be an issue for some but was for me and my 2 boys (3+4)it was too far to allow them to pop to the park without constant supervision. I have been to this site in the past and been allowed to pitch next to the play area alas the rules have been changed.
I would still visit this site again as in terms of location it is hard to better this site for a family holiday. The site has an on site burger van and the pitches are large and plentiful.
The views from the non ehu tent pitches are top drawer

This was our first camping trip as a family and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Owners friendly and helpful, were seen regularly patrolling around.
Site lovely and clean, shower blocks spick & span, nice hot showers (free!) dishwashing facilities more than adequate, very well maintained grounds, bins emptied twice a day.
We were a little cramped for space on our pitch due to someone putting his tent too far over to one side. Park area not much to speak of and is not signposted, we only found it after a drive around the site. It is quite a noisy site but hey ho,folk are on their hols!
If you were happy to go without ehu the field available is huge and has nice views all around.
Not a lot to Towyn, but a nice seaside break all the same.Would recommend. A very enjoyable and reasonably priced stay!
