We stayed on this site for the Bank Holiday weekend, and we would use this site again.

It's very big and spacious. The pitches are nice and flat, and they are well spaced.

With it being Bank Holiday, it was very busy, but the toilets and showers were fairly clean.

It's close to the main hub of Towyn, with lots of amusements arcades and fairgrounds, so make sure you take lots of money!

The only negative point about this site I have is the cost to stay. We thought that it was over priced.

Immaculate site. The toilets and showers are spotless and plenty of them. There is a snack trailer on site doing burgers ect.

There are 2 sections one field backing on to more fields for tents -- no electric

The other section is well laid out and has elctric hookups

There is a small playground but the children play together playing football etc. a great friendly atmosphere.

The owner is helpful especially when we wanted to know places to visit and they drive round the site a couple of times each day.

The site it's self is a 2min walk to the shops and chippy's. Pubs are further down the road and have discos for children and the beach is just a 10 min slow walk through the fun fair from the site. On Saturdays and Sundays there is a large market.

We love it here because when we park up we don't have to drive anywhere unless we want to go Rhyl etc. We can't recommend it enough!

There was quite a big group of us (me, mrs, 2 kids and their friends, plus brother, his mrs and their daughter). We were camping and the pitches for the tents and vans tended to be mixed. Usual facilities apparent (ie hook ups, loos and decent showers.)
Seemed nice and safe and no heirs and graces on the site. The kids entertained themselves easy enough, play areas nice and tidy, and mostly families on there pretty much same as us so we got on well (nice friendly atmosphere) and the snack van was really handy (too handy for the kids - made it their second home!)
Close enough to all the local stuff, but still had a 'farm' feel about the place. We liked it and would go again for sure, and it's nice and affordable.

Been to Henllys a few times. We always enjoy our stay but to be honest it is a bit too noisy for my liking. Always seems to be music blaring and just generally noisy. With it being close to the pubs of Towyn noisy drunks seem to stagger back at all hours as well as other peoples kids playing out til far too late! My two children enjoy going on the park on the site despite it being a pretty basic wooden climbing frame. Toilet/showers are basic but clean. There is a hamburger van on site but no other facilities, which is why I also think it is a little over-priced.

Pitches are grass and can get a little boggy when really wet. They don't allocate pitches so you can choose your own on arrival. Didnt used to let you pre-book which is a bit of a worry particularly on bank holiday weekends as you are just expected to turn up and see if there is anything left though is it a really big site with lots of pitches. Tents, Motorhomes and Tourers are all mixed and can pitch next to each other.

Site is within walking distance to the amusement arcades and 2 small funfairs in Towyn which the kids love! In the car you are just 5 minutes to Rhyl which has a cinema, amusements, a small funfair, shops and Rhyl Suncentre is always good on a rainy day! Resorts are a bit rundown but we still enjoy our visits to Towyn and Rhyl and its much cheaper than many other seaside resorts!

What a great site. Stayed in Tourer 1st visit then went back camping.

There is all you need on this site for camping or touring, very clean shower blocks and very well situated close to centre of Towyn.

A great snack van well sited and stocked with very friendly people running it.

Situated on a working farm so expect some noise but not much.

All in all two very good stays at this site in August.

We will stay again.

Good site everything you need to enjoy a few days away. Close to beaches amusements and the Knighleys theme park and if you are really lucky you will be able to see Llandudno and Rhyl. Even though I have been 3 times now I still really enjoy it. The only downside is right next to kimnel beach the is a huge asda superstore

Just come back from a few days away at Henllys. Been here loads and its a brilliant site loads of space for caravan and awning. With having 5 kids the site is ideal plenty of space to run around. The toilets and showers are always clean. Will definitely be returning year and year. It's close to loads of things like beach, two fun fairs, arcades and a few pubs.

Just got back from a 2 day break. After reading reviews of site we thought it sounded nice apart from the bits on rowdy neighbours.

Yes the toilets are clean, warm and modern. Showers warm apart from needing a seat of some sort. The food bar was great and site was clean, (apart from odd dollop of dog doo!) Its a great location, central to everything you need, beach, fair, entertainment, shops.

My only gripe, and please I'm not stuck up or frumpy, I'm young, married with family. The language from the other campers was disgraceful and did spoil it for us(not the owners fault) We pitched near park for our kids and there seemed to be long stay caravans. They stayed up till 1 ish, which is no biggy but when I had to sit through every swear word created and then some, it got a little much. My kids were up and ready for park at 9 ish and it was hard for me to keep them quiet till I knew neighbours were up and I must admit I was tempted to say off you go and wake them up! Then the language continued during day.

My kids loved park and sitting there watching them (which it seemed a lot of parents were not) we realised it became the local hang out for teenagers too, who did not hold back on there language either. My 5 and 7 year old ended up walking away and played on there bikes, much to their disappointment. It seems these campers have got there feet truly under table, considering this problem has often been mentioned on here.

Overall a lovely site, well maintained and looks appealing. If you have ear plugs well worth a visit.

I reviewed this site positively last year, and was looking forward to a return, sadly I was disappointed.

The site appears to have taken on some 'interesting' guests for the season. Teenagers are always hanging around and we did have some vandalism occur to our caravan (Sky dish was tampered with and food and bricks were thrown in through the skylight. Added to this all our electrics were unplugged so the freezer defrosted). Earlier that morning I disturbed someone trying to steal the childrens skateboards from the awning.

I was told quietly by another guest that my experience was not unusual any more.

We didn't feel safe on the site, and didn't feel confident enough to leave our van there so I went to the owner, obtained a refund and left at around 8pm the same night.

I haven't returned since.

We go as a family every year for the last 3 years, we enjoy every visit. The owners ar fantastic, the first year we had problems with noisy group and security promptly removed them

Good points everything, bad points none.
