We have stayed here a number of times over the years and always have a pleasant stay. The camp site is lovely our pitch is always the perfect size.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
This year we had the best weather more than we could have hoped for.
The toilets were clean easy to use and the COVID restrictions were all put in place for our safety and everyone esle as well.
We will be back again.

My daughter and I visited this Lovely site, was made very welcome. The facilities were always available and clean, hot water each time we showered.
The site has good rubbish collection facilities and encourages recycling
It is very central and there is a bus stop 5 mins walk away and the 51 bus takes you to eastbourne taking roughly 55 minutes.
We did not use the on site pub/restaurant as it looked shut but we didn't go and check.
The nature trail shuts at 5pm and there is a cost to use it £2 for adults.

Loved it! Staff were 5 star, helpful professional and easy to approach.
Cleanliness on the camp was great, family shower room was cleaned and disinfected after every use.
Couldn't have asked for a better camp for our family get away.
Thank you all so much in this uncertain times for allowing our children to have freedom for a few days. X

Terrible pitch! Lovely campsite.
We booked as two family units, wanting ajoining pitches only to be told on arrival that they couldn't accommodate that as they have back to back bookings!
After complaining we were thankful that another family offered to move to another Pitch as they were staying for just one more night.
We were placed on the worst pitch on site.
Please be aware that this campsite does not have tent only pitches. They allow caravans, camper vans and tents to use the same pitches.
Our pitch was full of large holes. The grass was worn and dry and the ground was cracked. Under our tent was very lumpy and several of us fell down the 4" deep holes. When we pointed this out the lady just said oh it must be rabbits! No sign of any rabbits on the site!
We found that some members of staff were quite arrogant and some were very nice.
We also discovered that the back to back bookings was also a lie as we stayed longer than my brother and the site was empty, up until we left! The customer service is not that great here!
The location of the site is really good. Just as you enter the campsite there is a great park with a large field and a skatepark.
This was great for us as my son is a skater and there was plenty of room for the kids to play.
The lakes, farm and trails were great too. Didn't use the cafe.
The shop is literally just sweets, drinks and few extras so the co op down the road is the place for all your shopping needs and is just 2 mins by car.
The toilets and showers are good here. Nice and clean and we never had to wait.
Despite the problems we had we did have a good time, however we will not return due to the lack of customer care and the awful pitch we were placed on.

Made booking over the phone asking for their set up regarding coronavirus also asked for a large pitch as we had a twin wheel with awning and large 4x4 tow vehicle, we were located the pitch next to the site warden pitch 1. We were advised to phone the day before to check the time we could arrive which turns out to be 13:00 hours. Having arrived just before 1pm.
We were asked to wait as they had to move a touring caravan back into storage, after some time I was told there had been a mistake and the printer had missed off the zero we were given pitch 10! This pitch is a lot smaller and have a GPO telephone red box on the grass side so we were not able to park our car.
The layout of the pitches are very close to the tarmac road making it very hard to reverse the caravan back onto the pitch with a caravan parked opposite, we had to use our motor movers as there is not enough room to reverse, the same goes when we departed.
The site is very clean, excellent toilet/shower block but with only 2 men toilets and 2 showers for all the hard standing pitches.
Apart from not having our located pitch 1 and given the feeble excuse as a printing error and not moving the caravan from pitch 1 back into storage we found most of the staff very helpful. This site needs more toilet and shower blocks.

Friendly, helpful greeting. Lovely warm, clean facilities.
Pleasant pub within walking distance. Well maintained site.
Thought it was a bit expensive for out of season.

We have visited this site several times over the last few years and recommended it to our daughter and her partner for their first caravan holiday. They really loved the site, particularly the nature trails that provided some shade in the recent heat.
They enjoyed the burgers in the Lakeside Café and the short walk into the village where the old pub has been turned into a very convenient local Coop.
Although the site was full, at no time did they have to queue for showers, which have been refurbished since our last visit and so pleased to see they are push button free!
All in all, a lovely little site, great location and you couldn't meet more friendly or helpful wardens in Graham and Steffi. We will definitely be returning soon.

We stayed here as a group of 22 pitches for a Geocaching event. The campsite is clean, well organised, well equipped and well located with a nice pub in walking distance.
My fellow campers (including those not in our group) were quiet and considerate.
My only complaint is that they don't allow campfires, which to me is just a requirement for camping! :)

Straight forward drive from Tonbridge and no horrible narrow roads where you would hate to meet another vehicle head on. That said do not take Halls Hole Road you will regret it if driving anything bigger than a VW camper van, take a slightly longer route and turn left at Calvery Road/Bayhall Road by the Royal Oak Pub.
We managed to stay on the hottest day of the year so far so were really buzzing, 26 Celsius, no clouds and little wind. Wardens were great and gave us a choice of sites on the electric grass pitches.
Late arrivals who had trouble with the electrics were not a problem for them and Chinese takeaways even delivered to their pitch. A pub/cafe pretty much on site was an added bonus serving breakfast, lunch and dinner for those who wish to avoid cooking.
There was a bit of a slope for a quite a few of the sites so during busy periods it would pay to have levellers as you would really want them. If you enjoy sleeping in Saturday football in the field next door is going to stop that, in the end I put on iTunes to drown them out. Hay fever sufferers may want to keep away from the tree line.
The field area is quite dark great for stargazing. I think another reviewer wanted lights, bring a head torch! There are not that many sites that enable you to see such a great view of the stars so close to built up areas so vote to keep it dark.
Another reviewer thought the site was a bit pricey and I can see where they are coming from however for convenience, an easy drive and local amenities you may find yourself returning again and again, I'm sure we will as this site is head and shoulders above some of the other local sites whilst noting we had perfect weather and a site which was only a quarter full, the other part of the site, hard standing, looked totally full though so cannot really comment on that as their experience would be completely different and I'm sure if the site had been packed solid in the field our experience would have been different too.
A great first trip for the 2018 camping season.
