We stayed for 11 nights at this lovely site. The facilities are very good with two lots of toilet blocks, two washing up facilities, two lots of shower blocks.
The new facilities block is very nice & in the ladies only has 2 showers, 2 toilets & two washing cubicles but all very spacious. The older block has more toilets, showers & sinks & both were kept very clean at all times. There is also a washing machine, drier & ironing board area too.
There is also a small park for the children & just outside main entrance is a large playing field & another park.
We were on one of the newer pitches on the field nearest to the entrance & it was nice & flat.
The only issue is some road noise over the weekend period was quite loud but you soon got used to it. Also the early morning call of the birds at 5am but soon got used to that too.
The wardens on the site were very nice & worked hard to maintain the site & facilities.
At night the gate is closed to stop people coming in & out in vehicles, this could do with being locked maybe key coded as people do not adhere to this & one night when we were coming back from a night out a car was leaving by opening them after the time when they were meant to be closed. Only to find the next morning this person had taken out one of the EHU points with his car after an argument with someone staying there.
This is a great family friendly site with the wardens staying on site.
Also try the local fish & chips from the shop in the village they are great.

Went for a long weekend camping with the wife and our 2 dogs. Staff at the campsite were very helpful and polite.
The toilet block was very clean all day just wished the water pressure on the shower was a bit higher ( but I am used to a power shower )but still did the job.
Tent pitches are very large as we had plenty of space for our Vango Tigris 800 + canopy + wind breakers.
Large fields next to the campsite which is great for letting the dogs off the leads or for your kids to play ball games.
We would use this campsite again when we visit the area again.

A nice, simple site with everything you need but lacking in that something extra.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly, the site was clean and well kept. We were in the larger field with our tent and were lucky to get a level pitch as some do seem to have a major slope on them (mainly those in the middle of the field and those without electric hook-up).
The older facilities block had everything you needed; a good washing up area and laundry, plenty of toilets, private sinks (private in that they had curtains you could pull across) and showers which although looked like they might struggle were actually very good when you were under them. The block was just a little tired.
A good location for touring the Sussex coast, quiet too and with access to a small fishing area and nearby riding school. Also a nature trail next door though beware as there is an honesty box asking for £1 per person.
A perfectly reasonable site for a couple of nights but not one we would choose again simply because it lacked anything that set it apart and it was a bit tired.

Have just returned from Horam Manor Touring Park and have had a great time with the family.
In time for this season, the park has benefited from super upgrading including 20 all weather pitches, additional new toilet/shower block, new play area and levelling and landscaping.
This is an ideal park to visit with the new facilities. We stayed on an all weather pitch which was fortunate as the UK seemed to be in monsoon season when we visited and some of the grass pitches were getting waterlogged but with the amount of rain it is hardly surprising!
The owners and staff were extremely helpful and were keen to assist but not intrusive. Facilities very good and kept extremely clean and plenty of local activities to do including cycling, horse riding, fishing and also local attractions.
In all, great site. We'll certainly be returning as soon as we can.

David and I have have just spent a lovely sunny weekend at Horam Manor Touring Park. The site has had a major overhaul with a new toilet block and new all weather pitches
The owners were very friendly and so were their staff and because I can not do as much as I used to, David was helped with our folding camper getting it on to the pitch
We also went to horam village where there is a fish and chip shop and we had pie and chips
There is also fishing lakes near the site and a lake side cafe which has an alcohol licence
There is a play area for the youngsters and pony riding near by
We also went to Heathfield and walked through the old railway tunnel, the disused line has been turned into a nature trail
We then went and did some shopping in the heathfield co-op

This was our first camping trip and we could not have picked a worse time weather wise, it was very wet and muddy.
We were told to park our car in the compound which was a bit of a nuisance. The wardens were friendly and helpful.
We did have noisy neighbours who kept us up until 12.30am on the first night. We reported it and the noise stopped at 10.30pm the following night.
We had booked a table at the cafe for Sunday dinner and we were looking forward to nice roast, but the food was not good and certainly not as advertised on their website.
The shower block/toilets were kept clean. There is a nature trail which we were told you pay £1 each to walk through.
Take time to visit Chiddingly Church which is lovely as is the surrounding area.

I booked this site for a group of us with 6 units for a weekend stay. We had a lot of rain before our visit but we were given good pitches that had drained rather well considering.
The site is completely faultless. The pitches are a good size, well-spaced and well-marked out. The road is marked out as one way, and people obey the speed limits. The toilets and showers were always clean (even with all the rain and mud) and there was plenty of hot water. There is a recreation ground nearby for walking the dogs off leads. There is also a play park on site and in the rec. There is also a lovely walk accessible from the campsite with a cafe serving excellent food (fully licenced too!). We all had a great time and will return.

We have stayed on this site twice and would go back time and time again.
When we went in the beginning of may the weather was really bad, the site waldens come round several times to make sure we were ok.
The site itself is small, but plots quite big.
The toilets are very clean and lots of hot water. The site is very clean and tidy.
The fishing is excellent for all levels of fisherman including children. The Lake side cafe has nice food and licensed bar at reasonable prices (Cash Only), but suggest if you want a Sunday lunch you book in advance as they get quite busy.
There is also a good fish and chip shop in horam.
Overall, very good little site and we will probably go back later this year and we have also recommended it to friends.

We visited Horam Manor to combine a family get together and a Vineyard Visit Gift that we had been given. On arrival we were greeted by an enthusiastic and helpful member of the team, all of whom were very friendly and helpful.
The main field in which we camped had very good size and well marked out pitches and almost all were in easy reach of an electrical hook-up.
The field had just been mown which made it even nicer. The toilet block was both clean and well equipped. The showers were very good, you were able to control the temperature and there was plenty of hooks for clothes and towels etc and space to dry off.
We were here for a few days before the long Diamond Jubilee W/E leaving on the Saturday morning. The field really filled up on the Friday evening and I suspect that there were queues for the showers over the week-end.
The local facilities were all close by and an excellent dog walk just outside the site gates We were pleased to see that the site encouraged re-cycling and had a bin for disposal of BBQ ashes an excellent idea.
However we did feel that a Dog Poop Bin would also have been useful. Just down the road (about 2 miles) was The Gun Pub and Restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent meal.

This is our 4th visit in the last couple of years. The site is very friendly. We stayed in our new vango tent. The site is very clean and the toilets and showers are very clean too and cleaned very regularly. Showers were clean and water nice and hot. Washing up area nice and clean too. They have built a new toilet/shower block where they have the hard standing pitches for caravans and camper vans. Not too much traffic either even though it was quite full when we stayed and drivers stuck to driving slow and obeying the one way signs which is good.
We rode on the cuckoo trail which was really good and safe riding for the family. We covered about 12 miles and did not have to go on the main road. My children are 10 and 7 years and the ride was good for them. My daughter said it was a bit too far but she still enjoyed it. A must do if you visit this site and enjoy cycling
