12th Year of visiting, and the same professional, friendly and approachable staff as always.
Usually visit 2-3 times a year, but Covid stopped that this year, mores the pity.
We travel all over the country but this is our favorite site.
All amenities available, shop and superb Fish Van, beach for the dogs and Photography.
Beautiful sunrises and Sunsets and pleasant, quiet walks through the dunes and also seals. A little patch of heaven.
NB Internet can be iffy, but mobiles work better.

We had such a lovely, relaxing time at Waxham Sands! Friendly and helpful staff. Security vehicle regularly checking the safety of the site.
Impeccable, regularly cleaned and sanitised toilet blocks. So near the sea, lulled to sleep by the waves. Beautiful sandy beaches, ideal for all ages, walking, playing, just sitting. We were lucky with the early autumn weather too.
Lovely walks nearby - we walked to Waxham Barns for edible treats, and to Winterton, seeing so many seals on the beach around Horsey Gap.
Would definitely like to return. Thank you!

Staff very friendly. Campsite basic but kept clean. Sea Close by bit of a trek over the dunes but the vista is worth it. Watch seals.
Ideal for those looking for a time away from amusement arcades and make their own adventure.

This Site is great, it is located in the best place for beach lovers.
There is loads of space on each pitch, as well as on the site.
Shop, showers, (very good showers), laundry facility, play areas.
Plenty of toilets, (even with social distancing measures).
Run by a dedicated hard working team.
Would definitely recommend for anyone, there is always something to see and something to do. Children playing freely, cycling, running, laughing and being kids ( beautifully refreshing).
We took our dogs and they loved it too, dedicated dog walk areas, miles and miles of beach, and grey seals.
This campsite runs like a well oiled machine, with effective and professional services happening at all times from the warm reception as you arrive to the regular cleaning and maintenance of the site, and you don't even notice it happening.
We have rebooked to come back in August 2020.

Great location with access to the beach.
Facilities ok but could do with a bit of refurbishment.
I was surprised by how close the pitches were to each other in the height of COVID restrictions but we were only in a small tent so we had a bit of space around us.

Beautiful peaceful location, The superb beach is a step away, nice hot showers, well kept site, unspoilt area, good sized pitch, reasonable facilities, liked sleeping listening to the sea.
Would have liked a hair drying facility in the shower block, and also would have liked a shower at 7. 30 but they're closed until 8 !
I'd visit again :)

With over a hundred pitches this is a big site, it has 3 toilet blocks and 1 shower block all kept very clean! a small shop plus a fish and chip van which is open every day in the summer.
Your pitch is very generous easily fits a caravan awning and car and still space to sit outside, most pitches have electric hook up, all be it only 6amp so you have to be a bit careful what you use.
The staff I found to be very helpful and friendly.
The site is very close to the beach also has a couple of play areas and a small crazy golf course so plenty for kids to enjoy themselves.
It did feel a very safe site to let the kids roam around freely.
Would I return? Yes!

Found this site by lucky accident and had a lovely 2 night stay.
The beach is just over the dunes and the walking is spectacular in every direction.
The beach is gorgeous and we loved watching the seals each day.
Dog friendly, clean and well maintained - all things we value
A great place for families and children
We can't wait to come back!

After a very wet trip to Scotland, I had to appease my 9yo son with a warm sunny beach, so after a look at the weather forecast, and a quick look through the UK Rough Guide to Camping, we found Waxham Sands.
Booked up at short notice for initially 2, then 3 nights, and was instantly given a spot, so drove off to Norfolk.
Very friendly service at reception on arrival, and upon finding our pitch, was pleased to see a flat, well drained spot.
Gorgeous location, just a quick climb over the dunes and you're on the beach. Good showers (token operated), with a nightly chip van if needed, and mini golf. Also a nice play area for kids.
Well stocked shop (beware of the 70p card charge).
Would (and will) happily return again.
