 Lovely site with helpful owners!
Was a bit wet in the grass but they were very accommodating,
Facilities were dated but very clean and prefect useable

This lovely Campsite reopened on the 1st of March and I booked for the first weekend.
Run by really nice people I thoroughly enjoyed my stay (this was not my first visit to this Campsite) even if breakfast was a bit chilly.
The great location with tremendous views of Curbar Edge and Froggatt Edge was uplifting and although the site was far from busy being so early in the season, it was quiet, no traffic sounds and not too many walkers following the path that goes through the top of the site. I had a fabulous nights sleep.
I will definitely be returning.

A basic campsite but the wife who helps run it was really helpful when showing me the facilities and l had no problems throughout my short stay.
Will return in the summer as it is so well situated for things like Curbar Edge - great for photography.

A gem of a site.
Very friendly welcome.
Simple grassy field with basic facilities.
Quiet peaceful and clean.
Perfect for me, others might need modern facilities.

This lovely little site offers a base for hiking and there’s a river adjacent that you can swim in!
Fantastic for young or old, hikers or family campers.
Been a good few times and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful setting.

Campsite is pretty, and grounds are clean and tidy.
Owners expect cash on arrival, but if you know in advance it is no problem.
Good walks from the site.
Have visited many times and will continue to visit.

Great value for the money. Fantastic location.
Communication could have been better.
The toilet key went missing and there was no other way to access it.

Great Campsite. The views of Froggatt Edge are stunning. I had two days here. A basic Campsite with clean toilets and shower. Nothing fancy but everything worked. The shower was 20p and I only needed one 20p for a great shower.
The staff were welcoming and helpful.
I will definitely stay here again.
Locally there are walks of varying degrees of ability. There is also a nice pub 5 mins walk away.

As expected, this is a basic campsite but in an idyllic location with everything we needed for a short trip with friends.
Our stay was enhanced by lovely warm weather, excellent walking country and close proximity to good pubs serving food.
This was a return to camping after many years for most of our group and we are already talking about a return visit.
