 Now that restrictions are easing we were able to make our first trip out for a long time.
Of course, no facilities were available but we had a lovely sunny trip to this peaceful site.
Thanks Richard for fitting us in, we enjoyed our stay and will return soon I hope.

Small site in a beautiful setting below Curbar Edge. Very peaceful and only a short stroll from Calver village.
Very reasonable charge at £19 per night for a motorhome including EHU.
Could not find a disposal point for rubbish or recycling so we took that with us when we went off-site.

Location is superb, cannot comment on facilities, as all were closed on our visit.
Great base for walking along the river Derwent, and around the village of Calver.
Single track entrance lane through gate posts onto site can be a bit tricky, especially if you meet anything coming the other way.
Entrance can easily be missed.
Would visit again mainly for the great location.

We absolutely loved our stay at Stocking Farm!
The host was friendly and straight forward with the terms of using the site and facilities, the facilities were very clean and tidy.
It’s located in a beautiful location close to Froggatt Edge and a few country pubs which were all in walking distance!
We cannot wait to return again :-)

Lovely site with great views, pub and restaurant within 5 mins walk.
The toilet block is ok but could do with an upgrade.
Enjoyed it so much we've booked again for October break.

The site is set in a beautiful location with great views of Cuber Edge, and a footpath running right through the site.
The host Richard is friendly and helpful. The one drawback was the facilities which were very basic which we could live with but I don't think they were cleaned during our 2 night stay.

Beautiful views of Curbar Edge from site. Surrounded by fields, cows and a few ducks. Quiet and relaxing.
Nice 25 minute walk to The Moon Inn in Stone Middleton for dinner but there is another pub much nearer.
Site has simple but good toilet facilities. Lovely man who runs the site.

Shower facilities are really quite basic but the beautiful location makes up for it!
Waking up to views of Curbar Edge and being within 20min drive of so many wonderful places.
I would 100% choose Stocking Farm again.

Campsite and facilities are very clean and the location is excellent.
Richard the owner is a wealth of interesting information. The local pubs and spar are all within easy walking distance.
The views are fantastic, and you can walk up to the edges and along them.
We would definitely come back.

Beautiful area. With lots to do.
Camp site does what it says on the tin. No frills no disappointment. Will go again. Some good pubs close by.
Nice sedate walk through the camp.
