 What a great site. Small but has everything you need. Even a park for the kids.
Showers clean and on site laundry and washing up facilities.
Will definitely use again.

Absolutely excellent site.
Arrived to find our pitch reserved with our name. Spotlessly clean showers & loo’s.
Price worked out at £25 pn.
Location is OK, half way up the isle.

Great views, excellent facilities (laundry and Camper’s kitchen in particular are superb).
Very friendly owners. Nice size site - not too many campers for the facilities.
Would definitely recommend and wished we’d booked more nights at Moorcroft as it’s the best site we’ve been to so far.

Wonderful site. The owners were so friendly, beautiful location. The facilities were amazing, the camping kitchen had everything and more, great value for money.
Great little playpark and the views are great. The WiFi doesn't cover the whole site, but we didn't expect it to, so not an issue at all, but a very strong fast signal near the facilities.
Lots of space between pitches and easy to get to. We'll be back.

This site is in a beautiful location right at the south of North Uist. It is an immaculately kept site and well designed.
The toilet and shower block are spotlessly clean and attractive inside.
There is a good laundry room with lots of drying racks and a humidifier as well as a tumble dryer.
The owners are really helpful and kind.

Excellent facilities, very helpful owner.
All the pitches are hard standing with EHU, water, waste and CDU very close to hand.
The toilets and showers were of a very high standard and the laundry and kitchen were well equipped.

Excellent. Really nice place with lovely facilities, very welcoming owners and a great setting.
We were travelling in a motorhome with a 4yr old daughter and the addition of a small playpark area is most welcome.
Site is clean and tidy, well spaced, easy to find and thoroughly recommended!

Moorcroft is a favourite site of ours - we have stayed here in a tent, a bunkhouse room and the Hobbit Home glamping pods, which is what we were in this time.
As always the facilities are great and spotlessly clean - there is also hand sanitiser everywhere and people are being respectful of one another’s personal space - social distancing from the Pandemic still being in place currently.
Those in the Hobbit Homes have use of the “campers kitchen” - equipped with a hob, sinks and tables, which gives more option for cooking than the microwave in the pods themselves.
Each pod also has its own little sitting area outside, and each one has a unique character too in spite of superficially appearing identical. There are also laundry facilities should they be needed, as well as a warm and well equipped wash block.
Iain & Catriona live on site and are friendly and always ready to help if you encounter any problems.
We’ll be back!

Very well organised site and well kept, lovely views.
Good location with walk across the road and many other walks near by.
Facilities were closed due to pandemic.

Great base for exploring Berneray, North Uist, Benbecula and South Uist.
Gorgeous site with spectacular views out to the west across the beaches.
Managed to get some fishing in too from the site.
