Lovely quiet site right next to the beach and RSPB reserve.
Toilet and showers were spotless.
Guy in the reception was great too.
Would definitely return.

Our ferry was delayed and we arrived at 11pm but the owner was very understanding and helpful.
This is a lovely campsite, quiet apart from bird song, with a well equipped kitchen including fridge, freezer, cooker, kettle, toaster and microwave, all in an old blackhouse.
The facilities are clean and the owners are lovely.
Well worth staying here.

Just the best! Fabulous small site, had a great position looking out over tidal islands.
Best facilities of all the places I’ve stayed. Wonderful showers /bathroom.
Lovely well provisioned kitchen. Even thought about doing laundry! Very lovely hosts.
Excellent value for money … would come again and use it as a base to explore the Uists in more detail.
Close to Kallin Shellfish.
Had a wonderful seafood platter there for breakfast! And easy to get to Lochmaddy.
Can’t praise this site enough! Thank you!

Fantastic well maintained site with every amenity you could think of.
Kept spotlessly clean. Very helpful friendly owners
Really enjoyed our time here
Only downside is not really an easy place to walk the dog but I would have no hesitation in recommending this site to anyone.
Easy to travel to many locations from here, nice and central for exploring the Uists

Lovely site, views across to Benbecula.
Used the honesty box laundry facilities, but nothing else.
We failed to spot otters despite extensive walks, but that did not put us off.
Superb location.

I was staying in a pod which was very cosy and comfortable with electrics, kettle with complimentary tea/coffee etc. & microwave
Very welcoming owners. Great location to explore north Uist and the Hebridean Way just down the drive.
Camping kitchen has full cooking facilities, laundry room great to dry stuff.
Toilets/shower facilities good and clean but could do with more to cope with the number of people although I didn't have any problems

This is a cracking place to stay.
The views are just lovely as are the couple that run the site.
The laundry and kitchen room are such good ideas and the showers are so well kept.
Only down side was we were only there one night. Top marks

This is quite simply one of the best campsites we have ever stayed on.
The facilities are second to none and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable.
The Campers Kitchen is as well equipped as any kitchen at home and the Laundry a really welcome addition.
The location is right on the beach. Fantastic.
If you are travelling to the Hebrides do not miss this site.

Brilliant site even though very busy we prefer the quieter sites, but as were new at this we will have to take the rough with the smooth I guess.
Looking forward to arriving on Barra as I here its like the Maldives !

Small, friendly and well equipped with great views of the adjacent sea Loch which can be accessed from the site.
The campers kitchen was stocked with everything you might need to cook a meal, wash and dry up afterwards.
Catriona ‘just wants it to be nice for guests’. She achieves that in spades.
