We had a beautiful week stay at court farm, this was my husband & I first time camping. The owners are very helpful nothing is to much trouble, there local knowledge is brilliant and will give you all information of where & how to go. The toilet/ showers all spotless what ever the time of day or night, clean with hot water never running out. The campsite is very clean and well maintained. The freezer is a fantastic just put your name on and food stored. The washing facilities clean with lots of hot water there is a washing machine & dryer that can be used.
Had a fantastic time and we are booking again for next year
Thank you for a great first camping experience.

We spent a lovely week at Court Farm and would definitely recommend it.
The site was quiet when we went, as the school holidays were over, but it was still kept clean and tidy, with bins emptied and showers cleaned on a daily basis.
There were numerous water taps and bins around the field so that no-one had to walk more than a few
Paces to either get clean water, or throw away the rubbish.
The toilet / shower block was kept clean with hot water always available.
The washing up facilities were also clean with piping hot water available 24 / 7 and fridge and freezers available. The only fault with the site was the food that had been left in the freezers throughout the summer which had split and left a mess in the freezers.
There is a small lake on the farm that is available for fishing. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to actually fish, but walking around the site, you can see that the lake is well stocked and would be a perfect opportunity to introduce youngsters to fishing.
There is also an observatory on the farm which, if the astronomer is on site and the weather is favourable, is available for campers use for a small charge.
All in all, this is a great base for exploring Cornwall. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be going back when we next venture into Cornwall.

1 week stay in tent for family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children - 7 & 12). 1st to 8th August
Very happy with our holiday - top marks. Exactly what we were after and expected. Friendly welcome by Simon, who also helped and advised during the week. Thank you
Pitch - 10m x10m on main field, with hook up, water tap and bin close by (& bins we cleaned daily)
Facilities - as above plus shower & wc block, well cleaned, hot water, open 24hrs. Fridge and Freezers available free of charge, as were cleaning area for your pots and pans. Washing machine & tumble dryer available (tip take some pound coins). It also had an area full of brochures for you to browse local attractions. The main reception was open during the day and manned with someone to help you out (they had internet access there so I was asking for weather reports). There is also the Fishing pond (though not our thing others did use it and said it was well stocked). Finally the star gazing facility, though we didn't use this either it's still an option
Site - Excellent, 3 fields, we were in main field with pitches situated around the perimeter leaving central area for kids to play - I thought this was excellent decision by owners as many people would fill the site to maximise revenue - but instead allowed an area where the kids could play and more importantly socilaise with the neighbours. Site was well managed, looked after and clean.
Location - the Central location was excellent. 20mins to either N or S coast. Close by beaches were brilliant (we did PorthPean, Polkerris and Carne on S coast, Watergate Bay on N coast) - Mevagissey, Dairyland, Eden & lost gardens of Helligan also worth the visit (or a PlanB if raining)
Overall - you rate campsites on whether you would recommend to friends or return and my answer is YES to both. Will be booking into next year.

Excellent site. Well managed and run. A very friendly welcome. Toilets and showers clean and well maintained. Each pitch within reach of a water tap and a bin, and a slab for BBQs is provided.
Good for families and as others have said there are no sources of noise.
Be aware that if you're visiting on a child-free social, we noted that the site was totally silent at 9. 30pm with no-one sitting outside. We partied elsewhere and returned on tip-toes.
The village of St Stephens is a mile walk and searches list two pubs. The King's Arms has closed. The Queen's head is the only other within walking distance. It has brown tourist signage but don't let this fool you into thinking this is an upmarket gastropub or tourist must-do. It isn't. On the plus side it had excellent beer.

Spent 4 nights recently during the school holidays, and although peak season the site did not feel overcrowded. We were fortunate though with our pitch which was quite spacious, but I noted this didn't necessarily apply to all pitches.
Was very pleased to note they don't try to cram as many units as poss in though and have left the centre of the field open which is great. I don't have children but it was good for them to be able to use the middle of the site for ball games (whilst remaining in view of their parents).
The toilet/shower block was adequate (4 toilets & 5 showers in the ladies). Was also pleased that they were never actually closed for cleaning (unless this was during the afternoon whilst I was off site) but were still kept to a good standard of cleanliness.
Freezers in the washing up area is a definite plus if you are in a tent.
Position of site was nice and central giving good access to both the north and south coast.
There is a pub within walking distance (15/20min stroll) only trouble being the 100 yards or so that have to be walked on the main road until you reach a pavement.
If you want an all singing and dancing site steer clear and leave for the rest of us who prefer the smaller/quieter types.

Just spent a week at Court farm. This was our first camping holiday. From the moment you arrive you are made so welcome, shown to your pitch and told where to find everything. There is always somebody to help or give advise about where or what to do during your holiday.
The views from the fields are stunning and the place is so peaceful. Tent pitches are well spaced out and very well kept. The tents are pitched around the outside of the field with the centre left for the kids to play on.
This is an ideal place for families to go who want to spend time together exploring Cornwall.
The shower block, toilets and wash up area where always clean with free hot water 24hrs a day.
We will be back next year for another holiday. Highly recommended

Just returned from a week at Court Farm, Bill and Simon were very helpful and all the other staff really friendly. The grass is well kept. Pitches are large with ample space and the hook us easy to use and well sited. Could feel over crowded if all the pitches used though.
A small down side is the site is on a slight slope, which meant it did drain quite well, up until the 3 days of sustained heavy rain and it became very soggy and we had to park the cars on the road, which meant a trek through the mud to the tent, which was not ideal!
The facilities are good for campers that wish to be on a peaceful and not commercial site, there is no on site shop or pub so no late night drunks/noise. There are 2 x fridges and 1 x freezer free to use, a large washer and dryer to use and coin use not tokens (20p for 4mins)which was useful, as we had a lot of rain!
The showers are large and free with hot water in plentiful supply, they were quite clean, but could have done with daily cleaning due to the wet muddy conditions and grass cuttings, also no code locks on the doors, meant security during night use could be a bit scary, as security lights go off before you leave so your exiting into pitch black! We never had to queue for showers, as the site had no more than half a dozen pitches used, but I can imagine if full the shower/toilet facilities could become overwhelmed quite easily!
Location wise it is fantastic for site seeing - we never seemed to be too far from anywhere or anything.
A 24h Asda is only 5miles away and the village has a well stocked Co-op, brilliant pub with cheap, but lovely food and cheerful very friendly staff. We tried the chinese takeaway only once which speaks volumes!
A lovely site, even if the constant baying noises from the sheep got a bit tedious, with friendly staff, well worth a visit!

We visited this lovely peaceful site during Jubilee Week after reading the great reviews here. We were not disappointed.
Pitches are large and around the perimeter of the slightly sloping, free draining field. There is a huge central area of open space marked up on the site plan for children to play on. Our two small children enjoyed the freedom of being able to play free range!
Toilet block always clean no matter what time of day you visited! Hot water in abundance.
As mentioned in other reviews, great for campers as the washing up room contains 2 full height fridges and a large chest freezer. With large supermarkets within a short drive we made full use of these.
Ideal location for exploring Cornwall: National Trust at Lanhydrock, Heligan, Mevagissey, Atlantic beaches to the north, sheltered child friendly beaches to the south. Bill & Simon's local knowledge invaluable during one of the rarer sunny days we had! They provided us with a hand drawn map and less than 20 mins later we were on the beach at Caerhays making sandcastles.
Despite the atrocious weather we had a great time and will be back next year!

We have just come back after spending 7 nights at Court Farm. What a lovely site.
When we were there they where only 4 other units at any one time I think this was prob due to the horrific weather we had. Even with the vast amount of rain the site remained mud free and is exceptionally well drained. The grass is well kept. Pitches are large with ample space and even when full would probably not feel over crowed. A small down side is the site is on a slight slope.
The facilities are good for campers that wish to camp on a site that is peacful and not commercial, there is no on site shop or pub so no late night drunks/noise. There are 2 x fridge and 1 x freezer free to use, a large washer and dryer to use and coin use not tokens so no need worry about getting tokens. The showers are large and free with hot water in plentiful supply. Every bit is kept clean and tidy.
Location wise is fantastic for site seeing - we never seemed to be too far from anywhere, although no direct walks from site. A 24h Asda is only 5mile away and the village has a well stocked Co-op, pub and takeaway about 1. 5mile away.
The owners are very friendly and relaxed, we had our dog with us and although no official area off site to exercise him we were never stuck due to vast space and fields surrounding the site.
We would definitely go back - a true gem.

Just returned from a great stay at Court Farm. Lovely site with generous pitches in a great location for exploring Cornwall.
Very relaxed!
Ok showers and toilets, always clean. Free use of fridge and freezer was helpful.
Unfortunately the weather didn't allow for any star gazing :( But we did have lovely views of fields and the pond walk is very pretty.
Lovely stay, friendly helpful owner and we would stay again.
