I stayed here with my 6 year old son for 3 days at the end of July. It was his first proper camping trip outside the garden.
On the first day whilst playing he had been stung by a wasp, on the second day the weather was dizzily so not the greatest start. In the evening on the second day he said he really loved camping and could we come back to this site again. Enough said.
Clean site, Shower block was clean, plenty of hot water but was on a push button that turned off quickly, and no way of setting a safe constant temperature as is did fluctuate a bit and could get very hot initially when pressing the button the 2nd or 3rd time. Told my son to avoid this he did and all was well.
The toilet block may also have been a walk for people in the far field, but as we were in the first field so it was not a problem we had.
Fridge and Freezer free to use, brilliant.
Bins emptied daily and plenty of them, also fresh drinking water stand pipes. Large area for children to play and they soon make friends and make their own entertainment or dad gets roped into a game of football or frisbee or some other.
We saw other sites in the area some on main roads, some where everyone was sat on everyone else's lap and were thankful for this is lovely peaceful, spacious safe site.
We will be back again and would recommend this site.

Wow what a great site. I found this after extensive searching for a site that didn't have the usual noisy clubhouse/shop facility. The site was wonderful-very quiet, very clean toilet block, loads of free hot water and a massive field for our children to play footie, frisbie etc. Oh and our 6mth puppy was made very welcome too. Very handy for either coastline so we were able to travel about with ease. Nothing bad to say at all except maybe the stargazer session run at the site is a tad expensive and not really value for money.
Simon and Bill were fantastic hosts and if they could have arranged for the sun to shine every day I'm sure they would have. Thanks for a great week.

What a absolute fantastic site, we arrived and the warden drove our caravan and parked it for us, is that a welcome or what! Its a great site for visiting around Cornwall: St Ives 35 miles away, Eden project a few miles and newquay 12 miles away
The toilet block is a gob opener, it's brilliant and spotless, the wash room and facilities are second too none. The owners and staff are warm and welcoming even the other campers are friendly.
If you visit Cornwall and don't stay here you have made a mistake ! 10 out of 10 site.

Just returned from a superb weekend at this wonderful campsite.
The owners deserve every success, they have developed a very natural site with excellent facilities for those looking for space and relaxation.
We greatly appreciated the very generous pitch size and the stunning views. Super showers / washing up area and the freezer was a great asset during the hottest weekend so far. Everything very clean and organised.
Great location for exploring N. And S. Coasts. Shops in nearby village and lots of attractions very close by. Gardens of Heligan shouldn't missed and the ferry from Mevagissy to Fowey is another recommendation.
Owners of Court Farm, Bill and Simon are very welcoming and helpful. It's a great site for a weekend or longer stay. Fellow campers were also very impressed.

We were looking for a site near the Eden Project and Lost Garden of Heligan both just a few miles away. We booked for 2 nights and stayed 7!
Really great site, large, modern hot showers and toilet block. Covered area for washing up and even the use of a fridge & freezer - all inclusive in the price per night - no tokens!
Very pleasant, peaceful, rural site well laid out.
Simon and Bill were always there to chat and advise. We found the other people staying there really friendly too. Even the weather was glorious - Our idea of a really well thought out and cared for campsite - definitely would recommend it.
(Can't rate child friendliness as just two adults!)

Chose this site to share a weeks summer holiday with friend's and their children. Had a really great time - despite some indifferent weather. Site itself very good.
Clean, quality toilet and shower block with adjoining washing facilities. Lovely view from our pitch across to St Stephen (which has limited facilities but anything else you need only a few miles away in St Austell).
Went to the Lost Gardens of Heligan which was very good. Also recommend a trip to Lerryn for a tea or ice-cream on the green by the river and stepping stones - cheap but apparently endless entertainment for little ones! The walk after, along the estuary under dappled shade was beautiful.

Fantastic site, the pitches are very spacious, I cant imagine the site getting overcrowded even when full, loads of room for youngsters, the toilet/shower block was always in good condition throughout the week. The local area has some good pubs, and if your willing to take a little drive some great pubs! The White Pyramid was a favourite of ours. Shops are close by, all attractions are close by car, perfect base if your planning on seeing plenty of Cornwall.
Bill is a fountain of Cornish knowledge, so to not tap in to this would be foolish! Such a great bloke who was always willing to have a chat. Ask him for directions to some of the more private beaches.
Super site, will be back next year and would recommend to anybody who was off camping/caravanning in Cornwall, one of the best sites I have stayed at.

We were looking for a site near to both the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden project and this one fitted the bill rather well.
The site itself has one of the best toilet/shower/washing up blocks I've seen on a campsite with large, hot showers, everything clean, well maintained and not looking at all shabby. The pitches are generous which in turn means the site is less likely to get too crammed and put a strain on the facilities block. There seemed to be a large number of pitches with EHU if you required it too.
The staff are both friendly and helpful, 'Bill's good pub guide' in the shower block being just one example of this. The only thing you need to remember is that there's no site shop but the local village shop is not too far away (approx 1.5 miles).
It's got a pretty rural location within reasonable walking distance of the village of St Stephen which provides a couple of pubs and a shop/petrol station (there's even a footpath from the site).
All in all a good value, friendly and pretty site which I'd be more than happy to visit again.

First impressions were wow! The campsite was very clean and tidy with beautiful views of the countryside, cows & horses. The facilities were great, with a warm, friendly welcome from the owners. The campsite is in a good location to explore Cornwall, although a little farm shop might be beneficial for the basic essentials. We will definitely stay again.
