We visited just before the school holidays, the site was quite empty at the time. A good quiet site, huge pitches, lots of space, no on site activities, but a very large space in the middle of the camping field for your own games.
Facilities: Hot large showers, with lots of space, 5 in the mens and 5 in ladies. Both had a parent and child shower, with two shower head, which was a great idea. The loo blocks were not as clean as previous comments had suggest, on some days they did not appear to have been cleaned. (hopefully this was just a blip). Mops and wipe cloths would have been useful. Indoor washing up, but no separate sink for handwashing. Washing machine and dryer, freezer and fridge both of which are very useful and I wish more sites would supply these.
Good WiFi across the sight, for a small daily charge. Pitches with hook up were closer to the loos blocks. The campsite has two other fields that it uses during the summer, the 'on speck' field is a bit of a walk to the facilities. I am not sure how the facilities will cope with the increased number of campers.
Bill and Simon the owners were very helpful, Bill has an excellent knowledge of Cornwall, try Bill's tours.
Good location, easy access to both north and south coast. Had a good meal at the Pub in Hewas, Excellent curry in Probus, but not cheap, and West Key on the harbour at Mevagissey, for a good fresh family meal.
Supermarkets in St Austell, local co-op in St Stephens was we stocked and open to 10pm everyday.
All in all a good site.

We stayed here for 8 nights at the end of July. The pitches are marked out and are of very good size so you don't have anyone else camped right on top of you. We had a lovely view from our pitch which was at the top of the field, the only problem with the pitch was that it was right by a road. The road isn't a busy one but vehicles do seem to drive down it at speed and can be quite noisy - so take earplugs.
The facilities were very good, the toilet/shower block looked fairly new. There were 5 showers and 4 toilets in the ladies block and they were always clean. The showers were free (although they were the push button type which was a little annoying) and there was always hot water. They were good size cubicles so plenty of space to get changed.
There is no children’s play park but the area in the middle of the field is for games.
The washing up area was inside and there are about 4 sinks. In this room there are a freezer & fridge which you can use free of charge, which more than made up for the fact that there wasn't a shop onsite. There is a co-op a short drive away in St Stephen to get supplies.
There are 2 pubs in St Stephen but we didn't visit them.
We found the campsite to be well placed for what we wanted to do, which was to go to both the North & South coasts. The Eden Project isn't far from the campsite and is well worth a visit. It took about an hour & a half to get down to Lands End.
On one of our rainy days we went to Truro, which is a nice town with lots of shops and a free museum and in our opinion was a lot nicer than St Austell.

Have just returned from 11 nights holiday at Court Farm and have mixed views on this site.
On arrival on a very windy Monday morning Simon was very helpful and tried to help us erect our tent - after 2 hours of failure we moved pitch to a more sheltered spot!
We experienced varied weather conditions and apart from a particularly bad day/night of torrential rain the site stayed relatively well drained and mud free.
Site was generally well maintained - bins emptied regularly, grass cut every 3 days, good laundry and wash up facilities BUT although the showers were always hot thay were not always clean. During our second week there the toilet block was not cleaned for 4 days and both the ladies and gents blocks were beginning to suffer from obvious neglect.
Would recommend visit to Eden project, Mousehole and Padstow. Good beaches at Newquay , Gorran Haven and Perranporth. Lands End very disappointing.

Great site, great facilities. WiFi was available which we used to plan journeys and trips. Loads of local info packs available. Really useful to have use of a freezer during stay to keep ice packs ready for use.
Only gripe was being close to road (located at the top end of field) where for some reason cars like to hear the sound of their horns in the early hours. Would recommend to ask for a pitch on opposite side.
Even so we will be returning, hopefully this year as location is fantastic.

First impressions - site was very clean and tidy. A warm welcome was received upon arrival. I was told to pick a pitch up at the top (it was not busy at the beginning of May) and was shown where the toilet block & laundry facilities were. Toilets were immaculate as was the area for dish washing and laundry. As soon as my tent was pitched I had a visit from Simon to check everything was ok for me. That was a lovely touch and appreciated. Simon was often around to ask advice or just for a chat.
I would love to be able to come back, it was a pleasure to stay there for 6 nights. I was made to feel very welcome, despite the fact I arrived on a motorbike!
I will take great delight in recommending this site to other camping friends.

Greeted by name as we arrived on Good Friday, Bill changed our pitch allocation so that we wouldn't be next to any dogs ( a big fear for our Autistic son).
The pitch allocated for our 2 small tents was huge, bigger even than 'supersize' pitches on other sites. A slight slope means you have to think about sleeping positions before pitching.
The amenities block was spotless with very hot water and well sized shower cubicles. Like most sites, I do wonder how it would cope in the height of summer.
Unusual for Cornwall, we had minus 5 overnight with frozen water pipes.
12 miles to Newquay and just 6 miles to the Eden Project with Bill's shortcut map.

I stayed here having been let down by a Music Festival in Exeter that was cancelled at last minute. I found this camp site on this website - one phone call and it was booked. Very easy. VERY SPACIOUS. Had a HUGE numbered pitch. All the pitches were spacious and appeared to be sited around the edge of the field with the centre left open - at least it was when I was there. Completely different to Lake District where they seem to cram people like sardines. Good washing and toilet facilities but no shop, or club house or anything. Good base for touring about. Reasonably priced.

Lovely site, lovely helpful owners. Weather against the site owners who did work tirelessly to alleviate all the mud but do feel that more investment is needed to avoid the muddy road in future. Disappointed that a new tumble dryer was not purchased to replace and then eventually compliment the one that did not work due to lack of a spare part. The showers in the ladies could stay on a tad bit longer boys! All in all centrally located to tour Cornwall and would re visit in future but after two years of soggy cornwall weather may have to leave it a year or two. Some have suggest a playground be installed but watching the kids amuse themselves on the huge field in front of the tents was priceless. My son certainly came back from the holiday with a huge amount of confidence. All in all well worth the visit.

Stayed for 1 week at the beginning of June. Nice friendly welcome - even got some help pitching our tent. Lots of room between pitches when we stayed. Site was very peaceful - especially at night which is a bonus.
Facilities were great - nice touch with the fridge/freezer especially for those without EHU.
Showers and toilets couldn't have been better - my 3 year old daughter loved the fact that she had her own shower and didn't have to share mine (She now thinks all campsites have these).
Co-op less than 5 mins away in car but larger supermarkets available in St. Austell.
Fantastic directions to Eden courtesy of Bill.
Would recommend this site to others (already have!) and would definitely return if in Cornwall again - central location ideal for exploring.

Well you had to be there to believe the rain! Bill and the whole family did a stirling job keeping the roads and paths passable, on site. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Shower block was always clean and showers piping hot. Walking to the village was quite dangerous due to the speed of the traffic and lack of footpath. Both pubs were very welcoming though with good food. Had a Chinese take away one evening which was tasty and plenty big portions. Peace and tranquillity on site was fabulous, just the sheep during the day and owls at night.
Well done Court Farm.
