We stayed at this site over the Easter weekend for 5 nights. Loved it. Very open site overlooking fields.
The small pond was a major attraction for our 9 year old. He spent hours fishing and caught many small fish. Bryn, a local man, gave him some maggots, pellets and lots of useful information.
Also took kids to the Observatory one night which is on the campsite. Very interesting talk given by Brian Sheen. We got to look through a huge telescope at the night sky. Amazing evening with some very interesting and knowledgeable people.
The toilet, shower facilities are excellent. Also the washing up facilities with 2 fridges, 1 freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer are excellent too.
Lots of pamphlets giving information on 'things to do'. Our pitch was large and because campers are only put around the outside of the field, there is a huge space in the middle where the kids can play.
We visited Mevagissy, Lands End (through the car park and out the other end very quickly - sorry but we weren't paying £5 for a 15 minute stay) and onto Sennan (great little cafe), St Ives. We also spent an amazing day at the Eden Project which is only 6 miles from campsite and didn't take us long to get to.
The owners at the campsite were very pleasant, easy going, and very friendly. Site clean and well managed.
We are definitely going back to this site. With 12 months free entry into the Eden Project after paying for the one day, we have to go back and this site is well placed.
We visited this campsite after reading reviews and we were not disappointed. Would definitely recommend this campsite.

This was our second stay at this site.
Great pond which is well stocked and easy fishing, my children both managed to catch some large carp.
Toilets and showers could get busy just need to pick your time. Always clean and well stocked.
Pitches well drained and level and good size. All units around the edge of the field so children and adults play cricket in the middle.
Owners very friendly and helpful. Site always clean and well managed. Free freezer for ice packs and covered washing up area.
All in all a great site will be returning

Great site, very friendly and welcoming. The pitches are all very well laid out with plenty of space, we have a campervan and large awning and had no problem with fitting in our pitch.
The site itself is set in lovely countryside and the owners make sure that it is kept clean and the grass is cut on a regular basis. The toilet blocks and showers were modern and also kept very clean by the owners. There is a room for washing up, a large easy to use washing machine and tumble dryer. There are also two large fridges and a freezer for everyone to use which I thought was a very nice touch.
We used the fishing pool on several occasions and all loved it, we have two girls age 10 and 11 and they had great fun catching the smaller fish in there, there are also some very large carp in there, so something for everyone.
It is a short walk from the site into the village, which has a lovely pub with great food and very friendly staff. The village also has a supermarket and takeaway.
We had a great holiday at Court Farm and would recommend it to any one who wants a peaceful site not to far away from all Cornwall has to offer.

We would definitely recommend this site to others and use it again if we are ever again in that area.
We had great views from our tent. The pitches are large and the soil is well drained. The grass and grounds are kept tidy. The tents are all arranged around the outside of each of the camping fields with a huge central space then left available for the children to play.
The facilities are all adequate and well kept. I give particular commendation to the well-sized showers, with hot water available all day long (at no extra cost). Having a freezer available to use at no extra cost was a God-send for us and meant our four, fussy children ate better than they previously ever have on holiday!
We met families who have regularly visited the site for many years which is commendation in itself.
The only thing I would say as a word of caution is that I would hate for the site to become a victim of it's own success. It started out as one camping field and now there are three available. This inevitably means that there is greater demand on the facilities. To keep up the fantastic reputation and service they provide they need to keep on top of this all the time and expand facilities as necessary before said facilities become inadequate.
We loved this site and had a great holiday. It's position is ideal for travelling all over Cornwall and we found some lovely beaches to enjoy and explore. Thank you to the helpful and knowledgeable Simon and Bill (and the rest of the Court Farm family) for a fantastic holiday.

We have just come back from a 6 night stay at this campsite.
Firstly this has to be easily one of the best campsites we have been to in the last couple of years.
The camping field is massive and well drained. The ground is soft so no problems with bent pegs. Grass was short and had none of the residual loose grass that is usually tramped into the tent.
Our pitch was spacious considering we have a large Outwell tent and a day tent. There are many water taps and bins in front of the pitches and the bins were emptied each morning.
The toilet and washing facilities were outstanding. There are 4 huge washing up sinks with lashings of very hot water. There are also 2 large clean freezers, a large fridge and a washer and dryer. There was also plenty of tourist information in the form of leaflets and recommendations. There is even a baby changing station.
There are 4 toilets in the ladies and 5 showers and my husband tells me there are 3 toilets, 3 urinals and 5 showers in the mens. What particularly impressed us was that in both mens and ladies there is one shower cubicle that had two showers, one of which is lower down. We assumed that this was for parents to shower with their younger children. Great idea. I have never been to a campsite that had this many showers!
Our 12 year old and his friend had hours of fun trying to catch some of the fish in the lake. We even had a bbq down there.
Location was great, very peaceful and a short drive into St Austell. Well located to go virtually anywhere in Cornwall. We went to Truro, Newquay, St Ives and the Scilly Isles.
We enjoyed this campsite and the area so much that we are seriously thinking about going there again next year

Just returned from a five night stay at this wonderful site. There are so many positive aspects to this site.I can honestly say that our stay here as a family was just fabulous.
We were given a warm and friendly welcome on arrival and shown promptly to our pitch. Simon and Bill were friendly and could not have been more helpful for the duration of our stay.
The campsite is spacious and open plan. After seeing other campsites in Cornwall,it is fair to say that the great beauty of this site is the large pitch size, lovely open area for children to play in and the feeling of freedom and space that has been created by not cramming in as many pitches as possible. We felt we had a huge amount of space to ourselves.
The shower and toilet block is modern and very clean. The bins are emptied every day and there is a washing machine and dryer available should you need it.
It was a perfect location for exploring Cornwall. We visited Megavissey, Port Isaac, Bodmin and St Ives and the site seems to be handy and centrally located for most places you want to visit.
St Stephens(where the campsite is situated) has a pub called the Queens Arms and this did a lovely steak pub meal and offers decent pub food, with a very friendly service. There is a convenience store in St Stephens too for your necessities and an Asda in St Austell, which we used to stock up during our stay.
I must mention the lovely fishing lake on site too. This is free to use for those staying on the site (as long as you have a fishing licence)and my teenagers loved fishing with their dad and regularly catching fish.
A wonderful place to be. Relaxing and perfect for unwinding. Also, the wifi was much appreciated by our teenage daughter, at a minimal cost. This site is 10/10.

Just back from 5 night break at Court Farm having had a great time there. We found the site to be a good base for travelling to other areas including Newquay, St Ives, Truro, Perrinporth, Fowey and more! Mevagissey is lovely and not too far from site.
The site itself is great with excellent facilities, five showers in each ladies and gents. Never had to queue either although the site was quite busy. Pitch was plenty big enough for our large 6 berth tent, with lovely views. (we were on non electric field).
Excellent washing up facilities with plenty hot water! The fridges were really handy for storing food and also chest freezer for ice packs etc. Washing machine and dryer available too. Sockets for hairdryers/mobile charging. Free fishing was great!
Friendly and helpful people. We will stay there again next visit to Cornwall!

What a great site, friendly helpful chaps (Simon & Bill), great washing up facilities with use of two large freestanding fridges & a chest freezer for the cooler blocks. 1 washer & 1 drier. Fantastic toilet facilities, always very clean. Free showers, value for money, really reasonable no hidden charges for kids, porches, extra people etc.
I had a problem with the washer on site & kindly Simon took my washing into his own house - his lovely wife brought it over to us all folded, we would definitely use this site again. Bill thanks for the great directions to the chip shop! We wanted something quick as we were packing to leave the next day & had packed the cooker!
These chaps are out to help campers in any way they can - our tent needed to be re-pegged whilst we were out for the day, Simon did this for us. They are both lovely.

There's not much more to say than all the good things said before. It's a great site. During our week there we did some extensive touring of West Cornwall, and didn't see any other sites that I thought had a better location; Being just outside of any main towns made it a great central place to get to anywhere in the region and we won't hesitate to go back.
A few tips though;
Out of the 2 pubs in the village, The Queens Arms was our preference, very friendly and serves the regular type of pub food (if you want good local specials, head by car to the towns on the coast).
Take plenty of money for council run car parks (Fowey was particularly expensive), and don't worry with the park and ride in Falmouth, if you're happy to walk for 5/10 mins back in to town, we found ample free on road parking just the other side of the harbour (although we had parked and ridden!).
And finally, if you have a sat nav, unplug it, remove it from the dashboard, wind down your window and throw it as far as you can! Honestly, use a map and use the road signs, the sat nav will take you on routes that make the white knuckle rides at Alton Towers look tame!
