Well run, clean site with friendly owners/wardens.

Was very busy with lots of families meeting up and a rally taking place but it was quiet at night.

Fishing was good on the lake and on the river. Pub next to the Marina only a short walk away plus Dobbies garden Centre opposite with a Sainsbury’s basic for essentials.

Small dog walk on site with longer walks nearby.

I enjoyed my stay mainly because of the fishing,

However I think the site is set up mainly for the seasonal caravans which there is a lot of,

The toilet block was clean but in need of updating,

There was a Sainsbury’s just over the road and pubs and restaurants close by and lots of nice walks along the river

This is the second time we've stayed on this site and in the time between stays it is obvious how much work has been done to the whole site.

Easy access and cheerful and efficient staff, part serviced pitches, 3 lakes and clean amenities block. The site backs on to the Great Ouse and there is a marina next to the site with a carvery style pub.

There are quite a few seasonal pitches, all really nicely kept.

There is a really nice feeling about this site and ive got to say I enjoyed staying here

Would we return? Yes

On first getting here site was lovely & kept well. After check in (cash only) shown a map of where our pitch was and a quick run down of where things were.

Found our pitch set up OK, the amenities block is at the beginning of the park and when inside quite a few notices of not to do's but no information of walks local amenities or emergency numbers.

Although the campsite was nearly full a section in both men's & ladies facilities was closed off all the time we were there, the only sinks available for men's shaving was in the disabled area.

Their parking rules seem to only apply to some (we were lucky and didn't have to change but witnessed some people having to reset up due to no fault of themselves just lack information & being left little room) a lot of seasonal pitches. ,

Nice walk into Huntingdon and a staff member did tell us a nice route in on asking best way to walk in.

Great if you like fishing, but not somewhere we will return

We spent a very enjoyable six days here at this very good site.

It is as described here on this website, the description has not been exaggerated and it is well worth a visit.

The site is set in a lovely green riverside setting, the river being a very short and enjoyable walk away (5 minutes) with three lakes where you can fish if you wish.

We don't fish but those that did weren't disappointed. We did see a large carp poking its head out to see if it knew any of the fishermen!

The Three Jolly butchers about a mile away is well worth a visit for good pub food and drinks as is the Hartford Mill, a Green King establishment where you can order from the app at the table.

Just across the road outside the site is Dobbies Garden centre which incorporates a Sainsbury's and a WH Smith's and a decent cafe/ restaurant where we enjoyed our Sunday breakfast!

Do give this site a visit, you wont be disappointed.

Very clean & well cared for site Toilets block excellent.

Quiet & peaceful. Fellow campers brilliant, friendly & helpful.

Fishing not very good. Some lakeside pitches are very compact.

Not much space between caravans for sitting outside.

This was our first time at this site and got there a little late but there was no need to worry, soon as we got to site we were met with a warm smile and showed to our pitch ( this is quite normal when it’s your first time) and absolutely loved the laidback and quietness of the site was just what we were looking for.

Dog walking was lovely and the site was spotlessly clean, showers and toilets were spotless too.

We will definitely be returning sooner rather than later.

Well spaced plots on this most attractive well laid out park. Quiet and peaceful leads to a relaxing visit. Facilities are as expected, they being very clean and well maintained.

Fishing is available on any of the three lakes and also on the very picturesque banks of the river Ouse accessed along a short lane.

Although no shop on site, there is some adjacent at the garden centre. All in all, a really nice place to stay and relax.

Highly recommended.
