Only used this site for one night, to break up a journey to Yorkshire. It was a pleasant stay.
Its location is peaceful, only a short walk from the lovely twin villages of Wyton and Houghton.
Also near the A1, which suited my ongoing journey. The only drawback is being a solo traveller, when you are charged for a pitch with a minimum of 2 adults. Saying that, £25 would be a fair price for 2 people.
I would still recommend this site to anyone.

Fabulous setting around the fishing lakes and easy access to river front for a nice walk.
Excellent clean toilet and shower facilities. There was a washing up /laundry room and disposal and waste.
The electric hook up points have a water tap to rear which was so convenient.
We were met with a very friendly welcome and will return again for a peaceful break in a beautiful setting.

Excellent clean site, welcoming reception, nice walking around 3 lakes and along side the river ouse plenty of wildlife to be spotted.
Garden centre opposite with a Sainsburys. Easy walk to Wyton and Houghton with a couple of pubs and Cafes.

A lovely scenic camp site, beautifully maintained.
The showers and toilets are spotlessly clean and the facilities for chemical toilet emptying and washing up are great.
All in all a great place to stay.

This is a great site. By the side of lakes. Good location with plenty to do nearby.
Riverside walks, pubs, restaurants and takeaways nearby. Also bus stop a couple of hundred meters away for the route into Huntingdon, St Ives and Cambridge. Large Garden center opposite site which has a cafe and sainsburys inside.
Clean toilets and showers block and other good facilities. Friendly hosts who were very welcoming.
Ice cream man came round each afternoon and takeaways could be ordered to site.
Would definitely return to this site

Fabulous campsite, polite friendly staff, well kept and clean. One for both the keen fisherman and those who don't like fishing.
Beautiful views over the lakes,
Fabulous walks, cycling paths amazing. Sainsburys directly opposite the site offering amazing meat and delicounter.
Dobbies garden centre opposite site with cafe, gifts and clothing inside. Pub with river views 2 minutes walk. You will need mosquito spray but once applied it was no problem.
Slight road noise but Highly recommended

This site is beautiful, best of both worlds one can fish the other can stay in motorhome or sit outside, never been so close to a lake.
Caught a nice 11 pounder 2 hrs after setting up L27 was our pitch number.
On the Sunday we had to leave we packed up but still paid to fish main lake and had a 16. 12 carp, weather wasn't great but was a nice break and nice lakes and scenery.
The staff great, toilets clean, very clean infact with music, there's freezers washing machines.
Just a lovely site, we will be back

Found this site very easily. upon arrival we ( we were a little late getting there ) rang the bell and the warden appeared very quickly to take us to our plot over looking the fishing lake.
The site is Spotlessly clean,
Quiet lovely surroundings, plenty of walks to be found
Will definitely be returning soon

This site has to rank as one of my top ten sites we have stayed at,
Wonderfully clean and tidy, all hard standing pitches,
Staff very friendly and helpful, I went because of the fishing pools, but was still surprised at the size and condition of the fish, (superb)
Will we re-visit? Definitely yes, will be returning in August,
As an aside, St Ives is a lovely town to visit(3 miles, )
Dobbies garden centre is directly opposite with a Sainsburys and other shops integrated within. Highly recommened all round.
One negative is that it is on a very busy road, so traffic noise could be a problem for some but didn't bother us.
