Absolutely perfect site for us.
Off road cycling, walking, garden centre across the road with a small Sainsburys. Friendly well run site.
No facilities used so can't rate properly.
Site centered around small fishing lakes. Lots of wildlife

We recently stayed here for 5 nights. What a wonderful site!
Beautifully maintained around the three fishing lakes.
We had a hardstanding, level, partly serviced pitch near the middle lake, which was beautiful and very peaceful. A short walk through the site leads to the magnificent River Ouse.
The site has a very clean toilet and shower block, washup and laundry. There is payable WiFi available and mobile and TV coverage (Freeview) were good.
Directly opposite the site is a Dobbies Garden Centre which incorporates a Sainsburys local and a wonderful deli, both excellent.
Right next door (5 mins walk) to the site is a lovely pub and Hartford Marina.
Nearby are the villages of Wyton and Houghton, about a 15 minute (safe) walk where you will find a superb community run shop/post office (with lovely local bread!) and two wonderful pubs serving excellent food. There is also a National Trust property, The Houghton Mill, sadly closed inside, but a lovely walk around and has a tea shop.
All in all, we really enjoyed staying here and look forward to returning soon.
Highly recommend.

Good place to have a holiday during covid problems. They have good Cv setup for reception and toilets. Well signposted and clean. We used our own shower.
We had a good hardstanding with view of a lake. Lots of nice fishing people for a 'distance' chat. We don't fish but saw some being caught.
Nice walk to river Great Ouse. We had a late afternoon meal at Hertford Mill pub. Good prices and covid friendly, lots of space between tables.
We had a cream tea in the garden centre opposite the campsite. Campsite takes cash only, no credit or debit cards.
Has water on site but you have to drag your waste barrel to reception to empty so 8 out of 10.

Fantastic site,
My wife and I stopped at this site for 5 nights and left feeling relaxed and happy,
The staff and other campers were all such a friendly bunch so much so that we have booked for another week next year,
The pitches are huge and have plenty of room for our large tent, car, and trailer,
EHU and water close,
The toilets and showers are very clean but a bit of a treck from the tent field,
Overall we would recommend this site to everyone, oh and it’s got some big carp in the lakes,

Lovely site, well maintained and very nice people who run the site. The shower/toilet facilities are at present being updated although they were very good before.
This is an adult only site and is well suited to those that like fishing as there are 2 lakes where you can park up right up to the edges of the lakes. Pub and huge garden centre that both have restaurants, there is a Tesco not that far away if you have a car.
Pitches are hard standard and grass
There is a bus stop nearby where you can go to St Ives and Huntingdon, both a short distance ce away.
Price is very, very fair at £24 per night including electric.

Very pleasant setting with easy access. Site is clean & tidy and the owners were welcoming. We have a 9. 2 mtr MH and tow a car trailer. This didn’t cause any problem and we were sited facing one of the fishing lakes and were able to park the trailer close by.
Due to the Corona Virus restrictions there was only one disabled bathroom & one other toilet open. The facilities are a bit dated and I was disappointed to see that the bin for used hand towels was full to overflowing for two days. Everyone was being very sensible regarding social distancing and wiping everything down so this didn’t really worry me too much.
I did find the pitches a little close together, but we are used to the strict rules of CMC Club. Being Adults Only did mean it was overall very peaceful although a little road noise depending on where you are sited.
Walking distance to Dobbies Garden Centre & Restaurant and Hartford Marina with large pub & Restaurant.
