Fantastic site. Greeted by really friendly helpful staff who were just so nice. Site semi rural but easy drive to Cambridge. Very very very clean facilities and lovely showers - hot free and not those stupid press buttons. Don't put anything on the cubicle floor though as they get wet. Site was peaceful spacious light mowed grass and good distance between sites. Easily the standard of a top caravan club site but being owned privately the wardens give that extra personal touch. Definitely will be going back.

Lovely site, which has a nice atmosphere.

We stayed with our young children, so, were positioned in the field for children. The one with the play ground. This was positioned in the middle of the field, the camping units pitched around the perimeter, which meant the children could play, while we stayed in the tent. They enjoyed the freedom, and played out there for hours! For people without children, there were other fields away from the park (and noise).

Facilities were very clean and numerous, didn't have to queue. There is a also a farm walk, which is mainly used by dog walkers, but was a useful route for a short jog.

We loved this site!

 This is a fantastic campsite.

The owner is very friendly and welcoming and really helpful and flexible.

The site is immaculate and is sectioned off into different areas with tall conifers and hedges. We stayed in the family field and our kids could not believe how great the play equipment was. They had a wonderful time. The pitches are all nicely spaced out around the perimeter of the field with the play equipment in the middle so that you can watch the children play.

The showers and toilets were spotlessly clean at all times. The shower blocks were heated nicely and the water super hot!

The owner personally makes sure that the park rules are adhered to and this made for a nice quiet stay.

While there we went to a great pub in the village called the Three Horseshoes. It has a lovely big beer garden with lots of play equipment and even had a bouncy castle on the day we visited. A fantastic pub for families - we stayed all afternoon!

If you stay at the site on a Saturday night there is a visiting Fish and Chip van that calls at 6:30pm. We can recommend the food.

We camped as a group with three other families and everyone agreed that it was a great site and are keen to come back next year.

I have just returned from a Bank Holiday weekend stay at this site and I have to say it is one of the best I have ever stayed at.

The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The facilities were excellent - the toilet and shower block was clean, bright and warm with copious hot water. The washing up facilities were also very good - clean and under cover with plenty of hot water.

I liked the way the site was broken up into separate areas with conifer hedging and I had a lovely corner pitch, where the hedging provided an excellent windbreak.

The site is flat and well drained. Camping gaz is available to purchase and a friendly gentleman even changed mine for me as I didn't know how to do it! The shop is well stocked and newspapers were offered if required.

My favourite part was the private dog walk around the edges of the fields - only for use of camp site users -about a mile and a half long with benches at spots along the way. My dog was able to run off lead on this walk (of course they must be on lead around the site). I will definitely be returning to this lovely site.

We stayed at this site for one night to break up long journey. We had a lovely stay & plan to return for a longer time soon as it offers great value for money.

The staff were very helpful & friendly. Site was clean, tidy & well kept. The hedges around the site worked well as a wind-breaker.

The site is dog friendly & walks around the site are great.

There is a nice playground, which we did not use as had no children with us.

The new shower block is very nice & clean, with free showers. The only down side is the shower cubicles are a bit small.

Would highly recommend this site.

We phoned the day before arrival and booked two nights. On arrival we were welcomed by friendly, helpful staff and were asked if we wanted to order milk and a paper for our stay.

The facilities were impressive and clean by far the best I have seen in a while. The showers were lovely and warm and their was no shortage of hot water no matter the time of day.

Park and ride short drive away into Cambridge- loved it definitely worth booking

We stayed at this site for five nights during the June school half term.

This is a lovely site broken into several different fields to cater for different visitors (hard standing pitches near the entrance, then two fields of mixed units for couples, a family field for the noisy ones and then two further fields towards the top of the site with some more hard standing pitches). Most pitches are grass and from memory most have electric available.

There are three amenities blocks, toilets and showers near the entrance and near the top field then a toilet block in the middle. All have washing up facilities. There is a pretty good shop on site which covers all the basics a fish and chip van on Saturday (pretty good but a little on the expensive side). We only used the shower block near the top field and it was always spotless. The showers were hot, no silly push button controls. We never had to wait for showers but then again we tend to shower late in the day before the kids go to bed.

The kids play area was OK, nothing special but more than acceptable. 4 swings, a seesaw thing and a tree house slide affair. The play area is in the middle of the family field and all the tents or caravans are around the edge (the road runs through the middle but it's not an issue) so its easy to keep an eye on the little ones whilst giving them a bit of space / freedom.

The dog walking area looked pretty good, there are a couple of routes the longest being 1. 5 miles long and not in a position to give anyone else any trouble. Our friends with their dog thought it was very good.

Freeview TV reception was excellent.

I don't think the site has wifi but we got a great 3G mobile phone reception using Orange and T-Mobile, even managed to stream a bit of BBC iplayer!

All staff pretty friendly, the site do not take payment by credit or debit card so make sure you have some cash ready when checking in. There is a big Tesco about 15 mins drive away (a place called Bar Hill, just off the A14).

Overal, a very enjoyable stay and we will return.

This is a great campsite. Excellent clean facilities. Set in a good location, within walking distance of the village. The site is separated into sections, which gives it a feeling of seclusion, even though it is quite a large site.

The lady that owns it is really friendly, on arrival you are given a small booklet with plenty of information about the surrounding area, and a map, which proved to be really helpful. They have a small on site shop which sells ice cream, a few groceries, etc, but there is a shop in the village which sells most things. There had been a lot of rain before we went, but the ground was fine, just slightly muddy under the tent when we packed up, we were there for 6 nights.

In the village is a pub called The three horseshoes, which does food at lunchtimes and evenings. We ate there a couple of times and the food was excellent. It is about a 20 minute walk from the site. It also has a large beer garden, with a small children's play area. There is a bus stop in the village, we caught the bus into Cambridge, it was about a 30 minute journey, but there was no driving involved which made a change. So a great site, in a great location, will be going back.

For our first camping expedition for 36 years, this was a great site for us to break ourselves back in.

A flat site, well kept and fully equipped and pitches clearly marked.

Good, friendly reception staff who are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area.

Good pub grub at The Three Horseshoes or The Red Bull (Sandy Road into Cambridge).

It's a handy location for visits to Cambridge, Duxford (Imperial War Museum), Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Ely, Bourne Market (Bank Holiday Boot Sale) and Waterbeach (if they still have Air Shows there).

We have been to this site a few times now. Beverley and Kevin make you very welcome and you can be sure of a wave and hello from Beverley as she passes on her bike to take someone to their pitch. Though the park is for all ages they do separate couples from families for those who are hoping for peace and quiet. We have been as a couple and on one occasion with our granddaughter (4) who loved it and wants to go back. The site is kept immaculate and the toilet blocks and showers are very clean. They have a fish and chip van on Saturday evening and sometimes you have to queue which must mean something! We will definitely be returning.
